Thanks for sharing the baath recipe....I tried it today and it came out awesome.

Hi Wendy. I tried your Baath recipe and it came out really well. I used double the butter quantity and left out the ghee and rose water. I also lightly roasted the semolina. Thank you for sharing your recipe. 😊

Tried your recipe. It turned out absolutely delicious!! Flavors of coconut, rose and green cardamom - so good. Fresh coconut is hard to get here - so I used some good quality coconut flakes. Ground the flakes with Cream of Coconut which added moisture and coconut flavor. I then reduced overall sugar as the Cream of Coconut was sweet. Recipe is a winner! Thanks for sharing.

Hi Cassie, I’m so Happy the Baath cake was such a hit. If you want to do half the quantity you could put one egg and then beat up another egg and just add half of it to the batter, or you could do 1 egg and 1 egg yolk. If you add two eggs the cake may turn out dry and hard. A Happy New Year 2022 to you and your family too. Enjoy!

Sure Veena, you could use butter instead of ghee but pure ghee definitely gives it a wonderful flavour.

Is there any substitute for eggs? If so, can u please explain the ingredient n quantity? Thanks in advance ☺

Namrata I have always used eggs but you could try replacing each egg with 1/4 cup ( so that would be 3/4 cup in total) of either plain yogurt, butter milk or condensed milk. If you are opting for condense milk I would reduce the sugar by 50 grams for each 1/4 cup of condensed milk (so 150grams in total). Hope that helps. Would love to know how it turns out. Enjoy!

Hi Maria, the Baath cake should be good outside the refrigerator for about a week. After that I would recommend storing it in the refrigerator and then warming up slices in the microwave just before serving. It will taste like it was just baked, Enjoy!

You should be good sending it from Mumbai to the UK. Once it reaches request the person to refrigerate it.
