Does the alcohol In the toddy move away out completely in the steaming and fermentation process ? Concern as if it has alcohol may not want to give it to kids ...
That's right, Sweet and white. Soft and spongy, Sannas of toddy. To go with a gravy, Coconut and jaggery, Delicious and tasty. Thanks for sharing, Your recipe on toddy. 👍👌😋😋

Thanks for the recipe, Wendy. Mouthwatering. Reminded me of my childhood days. My mama made sannas, using fresh palm toddy and coconut milk. She insisted on using coconut milk. Today, many do not know the difference between sannas and idlis, like appams and dosas.
I’m sure the sannas your mum made must have been delicious 😋 my grandma always used fresh grated coconut and toddy that came from her coconut plantation in Goa. And yes a lot of people mistake one for the other.
Wow that useful hack for toddy is genius 👌 The Sannas look so fluffy & the ones with the Jaggery make me reminisce of my childhood ! Thanks a ton for sharing .

Let me know
As long as you keep it clean, it is okay to use it even upto a week. But remember that the alcohol content will keep increasing as the days go by! ;-)
@@AnthonyBalraj Thanks😊. That's helpful.
Wow i live it specially the coconut
Could you please let me know the exact size of the moulds and where to buy? THank you

Phenomena, I have not tried making sannas in an instant pot but may be you could give it a shot. Make half the batch as a trial one. Would love to know how it turns out 😊
If you do make it in an instapot, please don't seal the whistle. Leave it on venting. 13 minutes should do
Very very very nice good job love you sister ❤🙏👌👍😘😘💐💐

Cynthia, you could use the same proportion of instant dry yeast.
One important question - by Goan rice, are you referring to our Tambdé Ukkudlli Tandoor, the Goa parboiled red rice?
Yes by Goa rice I mean the rice with the redish thick rice.
