      Hi Virginia, leave it at room temperature on your countertop, not in the fridge. You can also bake it after 3 to 4 hours, it will still give you good results. Do try it out and let me know how you like it.🙂

    I kept the batter in the fridge overnight. In the morning it is hard. Can I soften it with warm milk?

    • @FlavoursbyAR
      @FlavoursbyAR  23 дня назад

      The batter has to be left on the counter top for a few hours or overnight. Now let the batter come to room temperature and then soften with warm milk, as needed.

    • @tailsnclaws

      @FlavoursbyAR Won't the batter get fermented on the counter top if left overnight?

      Here's the details for you. Do try out the recipe, it's delicious
      Ingrédients pour le gâteau à la noix de coco (taille standard - 250 ml)
      1 noix de coco, râpée et grossièrement moulue (environ 2,5 tasses)
      200 grammes (1 tasse) de Sooji/Rava/Semoule
      200 grammes (1 tasse) de sucre cristallisé
      150 grammes de beurre (2/3 tasse) (j'ai utilisé du beurre salé)
      (Ajoutez une pincée de sel à la pâte si vous utilisez du beurre non salé)
      4 œufs entiers
      1 cuillère à café de levure chimique
      1 cuillère à café d'essence de rose ou de vanille
      1 cuillère à café de cardamome écrasée (environ 10 à 12 gousses de cardamome)
      Moule à pâtisserie de 7 ou 8 pouces
      Cuire au four à 180°C pendant 40 à 45 minutes ou jusqu'à ce que le cure-dent inséré en ressorte propre. (Le temps de cuisson dépend de votre four. Ne faites pas trop cuire le gâteau)
