- An Hour Before It's Dark was released in March 2022 to critical and commercial acclaim. The album reached number 2 in the UK chart, the band's best placing since Clutching At Straws in 1997. Written during the COVID pandemic, the lyrical content is a reaction to those tumultuous times despite lead singer Steve Hogarth originally stating that he would try not to be influenced by the heartbreak and loss being suffered by so many across the world.

The original album was produced by Michael Hunter and recorded at the band's Racket Club Studios in Buckinghamshire and Real World Studios near Bath, England

Is it really a year since this amazing album arrived and enriched our lives? The concept album is not dead: there's plenty here to link themes together. I don't know how they'll beat this one. But they will because they always excel. Thanks to all the band.

Marillion consistently produce new material that impresses you initially, but GROWS in it’s impact on you the more you listen to it. Incredible !

...and at the same time you hold on to this "cruise to the edge" concert traveling trip, when everyone knows that this way of traveling is anything but sustainable!
Could someone from the band please explain to me, why you are doing this cruise again in 2024?
