Once again, humility shines💥 “Subtly introduce to the band” “Be true to what you want to do” “Creativity comes from listening” I believe that due to the incredible sum of the individual contributors which comprise this astoundingly solid collective, Marillion remains in the hearts of one of the strongest fan bases I’ve known. The collaborative process they engage whilst writing, tracking and performing is seemingly always on display. Pete is at the very core of said engagement. Big California Love to You Gents…..ff
Hi Pete. I’m a new Marillion convert from Australia 🇦🇺 but I instantly rate you as a great bass player. All of you are great musicians. Love your work. 👍
I saw Pete two days ago in Tilburg, with Transatlantic. He's such a talented man. One of the best Bass players, and a really good singer as well. I hope I can catch him live again someday!
From my first Marillion gig on the Script tour at the Manchester Apollo, supported by the brilliant Peter Hammill, I have been absolutely amazed by Pete Trewavas bass playing. He is such as fantastic bassist and will always be one of my favourite bass players.
Hola Pete, has sido siempre una inspiracion, como bajista, para mi. Me encantan tus bajos, pero me gustaria saber qué modelo exacto de warwick es? Muchas gracias!!!
Good gear rundown.. a bit sad bass amplifiers / cabinets seem to be a live utility more than part of the bass player's tone this days.. but then Marillion is a modern-ish sounding band and I guess you can get away with DI and makes everything easier in production.
He has the amp stack and rack set up live. There are a couple of TC Electronic delays in his rack. I'm not sure if he mics the amp live or just goes DI. Cool gear though!- Brent
@@brentheathersimons7042 indeed, the amp is just a live utility it seems.. if it's not mic-ed it's not part of his sound thou.. what's on the album is what matters in my opinion
Only toy I see here is the pitch fork, and you gotta have some fun here and there. The multi FX is very practical live as you don’t have to worry about big pedalboards and everything that comes with that.
Pete is not just a wonderful bass player he is such a kind and sweet man.
Over the years i noticed more and more how much Petes bass playing shines through their amazing music, great musician, they all are😃
Peter you are a master of your skill. I adore Mirillion.
“On the bass, Pete Trewavas......he wrote this”

Peter you are a amazing bassplayer. Have you already used the bass aria?
He used a SB1000 early on in the Fish days I believe?

Any other guitarists freeze framing the shot of his "notes" to get the chord progressions? ;)
