I have a question. If I did this and I purchased an app from the app store, would it send a receipt/notification to the Email associated with the apple id connected to the app store or the one connected to the settings?
I'd just purchased a quest 3, and for some reason apple logged me out as soon as I tried to install the meta app. I couldn't remember my apple id password, so couldn't install the meta app needed to get the quest working. I chose forgot password so I could reset my apple password, then it told me my passcode was wrong (even though it's the one I use to open my device 10 times per day!), and then it told me I couldn't reset my password for up to 7 days!!!!!! So thanks for the video, I was able to create a new ID just for the app store and get the meta app installed without signing out of the phone completely from my proper apple ID (which I believe would lose lots of my data).
