I don't know if someone else already commented this, but your apple ID lets you transfer your eSim from one iPhone to another without having to go anywhere, it can also let you switch it to an iPad with cellular connection.

I’m assuming I could convert my personal phone sim to esim and then physically place my sim for my work phone in the tray? When I did this it said it couldn’t activate my work sim. The primary line is a Mint line and the secondary line is a French carrier that I use when I am traveling there (quite a bit). My French line is currently set up at bare minimum (phone calls + SMS). I can retrieve my voice mail on the French line but don't seem to receive SMS sent to me on the French line ... can you help? thanks. C
Do you think they will EVER fix the focus mode for when you have dual sim so for instance you could have your personal number on workfocus but your work number available. Now then you have focus mode it effects both numbers which makes little sense ..

I have a physical as well as an esim and it’s only showing content from my primary phone. I have no access to anything from the secondary line other than the ability to use the phone number. Nice video - very little information online about all the correct steps to set up a second line on eSim - I just did it with AT&T and after about 7 calls they were able to do it. First I got a prepaid plan online where the only option is they send you a sim card. Then I called them and they transferred the number/account to an esim. The problem is no one understood what I needed to do next. They sent some sort of notification to my phone using IMEI and EID, but just clicking on it did nothing. You need to go into settings and it will say "new phone plan ready to install" from the notification. Then that has the code as if you had the QR card for your esim and it installs, all without going to the store! The AT&T reps were friendly but none were confident of how it would work. Between all of them they knew except to tell me the last step, which I finally saw when I went to settings after calling and restarting.

Question - I did what you did, my main line is Verizon on the esim, my business is googlefi using a card sim. everything looks to me working expect the imessage and facetime, it just keeps on saying "veriying" nextr to it, when I tap the line to add, it keeps on locking up. You may want to update this video with some of the iOS 15 features. To transfer physical to eSIM without involving your carrier. And eSIM transfer between iPhones, either when setting up a new phone during the transfer process or once a phone is setup, as long as they’re both logged into the same iCloud account.
I don’t think Apple has got this dual technology yet! Been using it & when you set the phone on 1 default like say business & you make a personal call, your person number doesn’t show up so say family or friend who don’t have your work number doesn’t know who is calling. 2nd issue, dual sim doesn’t allow me to pair the Busines line in my car! Which is hopeless because I need this line when I am driving. Is it because my business line is using the e-nano sim & personal on the hard sim?

i got the problem when trying to add the esim into my iphone 11 promax. the notification is "cellular plans from this carrier cannot be added. your device can only use plans from a different carrier". However, the carrier lock is no sim restriction. how to solve this issue?

When I call the person by the history even I have select primary card and I have select to always call him with primary it calls by secondary. Why happens this? What can I do? It's weird.. it looks as if 'John" (me) is texting John.. How can I have two SEPARATE messages apps (one for one line and one for the other). And possibly to separate call logs for each line? *If they're separate lines - all on the same iPhone - it should be working the way a describe... If Line A texts the Line B, then the text should be on Line A's sent folder, and on Line B's incoming folder.. Any idea how I can do this?? Thanks!!
Is there a way to turn off cellular data on 1 line but keep it on for other ? Lets say I travel abroad and only want to use 1 line on cellular but use WiFi for the other ?
Can you toggle between your primary home country esim line and the physical sim? I want to travel internationally but turn off my home country esim and use a physical sim from the new country while I’m away. But I’m afraid if I turn off my primary it will deactivate and I won’t be able to turn it back on when I may need it when I’m abroad.
I know, I know, the US market is not the same as the European market. But dual sim has been around since 2010 on android, and it is almost standard on Samsung flagship models outside the US. I wish Apple would just offer a second slot.

What advantage would the Pixel 6, with Dual Sim Active, have over an iPhone?

nowadays, eSim QR codes can be found in your User Account services of your GSM operator, I mean, online and on the cloud. No big deal, IMO.
