@@rogergeyer9851 you and I think alike apparently!! My dad and I used to bump heads all the time when it came to the topic of multitasking. I'm ADHD so my brain ALWAYS goes 90 to nothing and I am never doing just one thing at a time...which I know isn't necessarily a positive thing because there is such a thing as being present in the moment and taking everything in just enjoying NOTHING but fully embracing ONE thing/place/person, etc...which someone who is a mega-multitasker (haha...that reminded me of "mega-pint" when I typed that 🤣) like I am isn't good at doing just ONE thing without feeling like I'm wasting time not doing more. So my dad's mentality was if I'm doing more than one thing at a time then I'm reducing the effectiveness or accuracy of each task (so if I'm doing 2 things at once, I'm only able to do each task at 50%), which is NOT true. So I challenged him to check my work for accuracy if he thinks I can only half ass each thing I'm doing while I'm multitasking. He had nothing to say when he did just that because he found that my work was 100% accurate even while multitasking. None of us can say one way or another whether a person can or can't do anything unless we are them. My brain works very differently than the majority of people, which for every positive there is a negative I can assure you. I can multitask like a mf'r (excuse my language) and hyperfocus on things spending hours consumed in whatever task I'm working on but I have zero sense of time. I struggle with time blindness that ALWAYS causes problems with other people because they never understand how I can be consumed with things and not realize/know how much time has passed...I can't explain it...but it absolutely happens ALL THE TIME. I've spent my entire life having people argue with me or complain about how I do things or why I do things the way l do and it all books boils down to the way my ADHD brain works. You won't understand it unless you have ADHD and I can't explain it...but my isn't wrong compared to your way and your way isn't wrong compared to my way. They are just DIFFERENT ways and that's perfectly fine. I don't have to understand your way and you don't have to understand mine to respect and appreciate each one individually. If we both work on the same task and both end up with the same end result, does it matter how either one of us achieved that result??? No!!! There's no right or wrong way to do things as long as you end up with the same result, just different ways! 🎤 (mic drop)...getting off my soapbox now. Sorry! 😁
I love LOVE having more than one phone. One for games etc and one for personal calls, texts etc it is worth the investment. Also keep one charging and use the other. No one has just one phone any more.
I was required to start using a second phone for work & was so annoyed at the thought of it. Fast forward 6 months & I was hooked. So many times that 2nd phone came handy & even saved me a few times. I did make a conscious effort to set clear phone hours & take a break from both phones every day.
I’m an independent sales agent and just this week started working with two phones. My long term phone has been Android (Galaxy S10 currently), my new contract company gave me an iPhone 11 Pro . This video had great tips! Thank you!
@@renofumi28 I'd wish that were true Reno, coz if mine was a knock off, and had mic problems, it would have been a non-issue. But, I did buy it off apple's official website, so I do admit having a decent amount of expectations on the AirPods.
It's interesting that you said you're an introvert. I try to explain that to people all the time. They ask me how I can run a business and manage sales but be introverted. I try to tell them there is a big difference between being shy or unconfident and being introverted.
@@RoofingInsights3.0 100% correct. I can talk with anyone, and I do, but it drains me and especially crowds. My wife is very extroverted and has people over for get togethers very often. She understands if I need to sneak away to the back or go to the garage for a few minutes to recharge. 😅
a lot of these multitasking things are problematic because you shouldn't multitask because it kills productivity by making you keep on switching your focus most of the productivity things like recording yourself or the battery thing is easily fixable like the battery thing can easily be fixed by you establishing a routine you do before bed where you plug in your phone and it would solve the battery problem as well as make you more organised
I prefer to use one phone with two numbers. For example I have a iPhone 12 Pro Max and my personal number is the e-sim and my work number would be the physical sim. On the week ends or when I’m not working I put the work line on always divert or just switch it off. The problem with having two phones is charging two phones every night, mounting two phones whilst driving, connecting to car Bluetooth systems etc. I do a lot of multitasking on my iPhone whilst having my AirPods Pro in my ears. Great video by the way.
I was thinking about getting the iPhone 12 Max Pro... my brother had one... yes he had one, but kept dropping it so much it broke (even with a case).... He hates his phone... What do you think of the 12 Max Pro? Do you still really like it, or would you get another one? Personally I was very impressed with it... the sharpness of the videos was amazing.
I love having 2 phones. Enables me to look things up, use GPS without having to be on speaker, keep something handy or qued up, technical service, security authentication, double freebies, zoom while setting up what I'm learning about, Facebook videos like you said (FB needs to fix that!), etc. Only annoyance is snap chat only allowing one device at a time.
WOW great information. I just got a new phone to increase ability of taking better photos of the jewelry I make. I was going to do dual numbers on one phone. One for personal, one for business. But I love both phones. You have convinced me. I will keep my S22 Ultra for personal and use my new Pixel 7 pro for work. Thanks for posting this.
I totally agree with you 👍 Im all for the productivity i watch so much youtube videos and i can't waste my time only watching i use my second phone for typing, calling or even fun stuf like gaming. I have android and iPhone (s22 ultra and 13 pro) my main device is the iPhone
🎉🎉 Dear Dimitry. Keeping two mobiles, really I do not know these kind of 20 benefits and comforts ever. For me it was only two numbers, one for business and other one for privacy with family/friends. (That too not using 95% times usefully) After your elaborated description and the happiness in your face hints everything we all missed. Hereafter, I can use them meaningfully. Thank you Bro. 🎉🎉
I have an iphone 14 pro and Samsung s23 plus. Have 2 calling sims and one unlimited data. What you thisnk is advisable to put two calling sims in iphone and unlimited data sim in samsung ir share in between the two?
I used to have 2 phones, but mostly for different occasions. Sometimes I had to work outside. For that I would take my cheap galaxy note 8 that I bought refurbished on Amazon for like $150. The other times I would take my iPhone XS. Now I use an iPhone 13 pro, and I kind of miss having 2 phones. The battery is incredible on this phone, but I always have to take extra care when I’m out working.
Hey is having a separate phone with no plan or sim card and keep it at your home just for buying, trading and storing cryptos through trust wallet or Exodus apps with your own homes wifi, a safe idea? What do you think?
The problem is when you talk in the first sim, the second sim will go offline. Many of my customers claim that I am offline most of the time, they don't know when they called I was talking through the other sim. I am thinking to use two phones for this reason
Another Best thing you can do by keeping the less frequently used application on your secondary phone, It will save a lot of memory and increase your speed.
ALTHOUGH HAving two phones can be expensive and double the hassle, in certain situations it can be invaluable - such as a robbery or bank heist hostage situation
I have a Redmi Note 9 pro, 4 years with it but now I'm buying the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, so i can use 2 phones. The old one still works really good so i highly recommend Redmi phones for it's durability. Tip 21: i can play a game on my computer, calling a friend while playing music from the second phone.
I have 3 phones and a tablet. 1 Number though, and while my plan doesn't allow for hotspot, I use an app to get around that so my 2 other phones and my tablet will work off that hotspot. Main reason is the Tablet is old, so I have remote desktop for when i'm out I can use my pc at home while on the go. My 1st ever phone - iPhone 8+ is just old, but my parents didnt wanna get rid of it so gave it to me and when i bought my 1st phone (2nd I had) the Samsung A31, AT&T said it wont work on their new network in 2022, so they sent me a free Samsung Galaxy S9+ and so I just use the hotspot to enjoy my games and make vids and socials on that one, use the old iPhone for the same plus as a iPod (do they even make iPods anymore?) and the Main as a hotspot and main Communicator. Ofc It has battery backup due to the strain of Hotspot, but all the other phones & Tablet use Google Voice for calling. Very effective and fun. Plus dont need that pc with me either since a lighter, cheeper, alternative option using the tablet is here! So yay!
Dimitry you're a legend, great content and reasons. I considered going back to one phone but the fact that you can use two as this day and age it is kind of like having a pocket remote computer and you need a backup. I really like the hotspot reason (need internet everywhere you go), battery and backup device etc. I will keep the two phone setup now.
I've used multi devices for ages now. always keeping a 1 or 2 gen behind as 2nd backups. Mainly I'm carrying 1 each an iPhone personal & Samsung Note for work. As well, the 2nd or 3rd don't even need to be SIM active to use as WiFi 2nd devices. I especially use as in #14, multi streaming. Or 1 to stream while reading & responding to your comments in 2nd of same stream. So many options.
benefit number 21: now you can have two alarms ring at the same time to wake your roommate or neighbour, then they will wake your lazy face up so you can turn off those two alarms.
Hi, thx for the very useful video! I’m starting finally to use 2 iphones for work&family with 2 different numbers. I have one problem, when I go to Settings - Messages and try to set up “Share name and photo” the phone says: Sharing Name and Photo not available Sharing Name and Photo is not available because multiple phone numbers are associated with your Apple ID And I can not set my memoji in the Account photo. Is there any way I can use my memoji for both phones?
@@bearcatial5442 thank you. I’m using only one account for both phones (and for the ipad). I dob’t wanna make a new account for the work phone if this is not really necessary. I thought that having one account for all the devices was the point to use the same name and photo.
Using two phones for quite some time now..one for work and another for personal use. Helps me wind down like a pro. My two separate lives are well managed and life seems less cluttered now.
First time your channel. I was curious about your reasoning behind having two phones, and wondering if I had been missing out any specific purposes for last 4 years of using double phones. Well, it was like - I'm looking at myself into the mirror, including being introvert; which is why I was hesitant a bit first to drop any comment. I will look around a bit more on your channel contents as well.
I dropped my phone at the airport and the screen stopped responding. It was stressful cause I was supposed to book a cab after landing and call my family. Fortunately I had my boarding pass printed out and people were kind enough to let me use their phone to make a call but I’ve been carrying 2 phones ever since😂
That’s what I was thinking. The Samsung for my work number. And iPhone for personal. How long have you been using two phones ? Thinking of getting a second SIM card / number for the Samsung to start using for work/business. Besides going to Verizon to add another line to my plan , idk where or how to start using dual phones. I’ve always just switched my SIM card back and forth
@@lincoln6981 Well I’m in the UK so I’m not sure how your carriers work. I have two SIM cards and pay £20 each for unlimited calls, messages and internet. It’s works really well and has definitely helped me out a lot mentally to just switch off whenever I need to
really helpful, already start using iphone11 and s21+,cause i need to use some app but one apple id can not support all, android could fix the problem,i just need to search apk and install.
Crown Victoria: There are these things called phone holsters in all sizes, etc. I have one that can hold 2 6+ inch phones and a little equipment or one phone and a lot of equipment, with a nice belt loop so it doesn't interfere with me at all. And that way I can have reading glasses, a big phone in a case, OTG cables, backup media, a small charging brick, etc. with no problem and not interfering with my hands. It certainly doesn't look like "a burden" for him, BTW. Depends on your mindset, what you're used to, how you plan, etc. Oh, and if you think carrying something is a "burden", try a case with a large laptop, various backup drives, cables, USB portable DVD drive, small cases for all the peripherals, charging gear, mouse, etc. etc. THAT gets annoying real quick, even with a shoulder strap. It's all relative. To the extent it means he doesn't have to rely on a laptop, large phone, etc. when he travels, it's a brilliant, cheap, and convenient solution.
Hey bro thank you for this video. i am really getting sick of my phone. it is so distracting. I started to all of the social media and family media ie whatsapp , viber ect. because i can not stop from checking on these apps. You may get this all the time but you look so much like Sean Penn. albeit, a better looking version of him. thanks again bro.
If people call me weird at work for having 2 phones I will say it's my backup phone I refuse to give up my BlackShark 4 Pro thanks for giving me a reason to keep it on me I can keep it in my jacket pocket.
So i have 2 iphones..i want to live stream on 1 and moderate the chat on the other from my 2nd youtube account.Do i need 2 sim cards? Both are 15's! plus and pro max. Can i use the same apple ID or do i have to make a 2nd Apple ID? I just tried using hotspot on an old 4 that was laying around.I got hotspot but it wont go to internet!
Great video. Having 2 phones is surely not for everyone - not for people who have troubles multitasking, not for ppl who are not interested in gaming/social media. For me it was like opening my eyes for the 1st time - discovery of watching YT while writing emails, commenting, talking on the phone, writing notes/novels, posting on socials. Finally, I have time to do everything. My phones are: better one at home, rugged for outdoors. I use both only at home, one is strictly for outside. If you are a multitasker and social media creator - try it, you won't regret it!
Just get you a solid android device instead of the Iphones like a Samsung Note or s.t. You can literally split screen and work on two things on the same time on the same screen.
Exactly what I needed. I was undecided whether to get a second phone or not for content creation and this video definitely helped me make the decision especially when you said about having different angles which is what I want. Parent of four here, so totally get always striving to be efficient. Thanks for sharing.
i've been using two phones for about a year now...i'm never going back. Most of the reasons you mentioned are very true, especially the fact that on some apps can't be using it AND listen to a podcast at the same time. also instant voice recording available at anytime in case of a phone call received. i don't think i'd ever lend my phone to someone tho! but the biggest factor is, i've never been with a dead phone in 1 years. doesnt matter what the battery capacity of your phone is, someday it's gonna die on you. if you got two phones, you'll barely notice. also, my main phone broke unexpectedly a month ago and had to go get repaired for an entire day. haven't missed out on any work because of my second phone. if i didnt it would have been a nightmare. having two phones is one of the best and underrated life hacks ever.
No hate on anyone that has to phone or anything but isn’t this what a tablet/iPad is for? And one will be bigger screen too. A tablet is like a good mix between a phone and a laptop/computer so it sound even better if you get a tablet or even get all 3 phone, tablet, and laptop. You can even hook up a Bluetooth keyboards and mouses on the tablet like a laptop or use them like phone and just use the touchscreen. Just curious why you wouldnt just by a tablet or laptop 🤷🏽♀️ I mean that’s why I bought a tablet
@@RoofingInsights3.0 i mean i guess if you filming sure but then i buy a camera 🤷🏽♀️ most people arent filming. But im glad it helps you. Doesnt seem fit for me but you seem to be utilizing i guess. If I know the company I'm calling have a long wait before getting to me and is known to drop the call before hand. I call from both phones. Sometimes the second phone that dialed gets picked up first.
Currently using Asus Zenfone 9 and iPhone 14 Pro Max both on service to very much get the best of both worlds. These phones are literally so amazing in their own way and I'll never go back to one phone. I usually leave my iPhone in my backpack or my truck just in case of emergencies or a dead battery on my Android. I just think the connections are much quicker on Android I find.
That is a huge advantage you mentioned that I liked in the event of having to separate and loan one phone to a friend. Also, when traveling the double battery life helps because the only alternative is carrying those thick power banks and a wire.
It's strange how, even now, many people assume that if you're doing something on a phone it must be trivial. I've had to explain that I'm working more than once.
sounds like you need a large screen android rather than 2 iphones. Samsung has split screen, pop out apps, dual social media app support, secure folder (you can install the same app in a separate virtual secure folder) etc

Thank you!

yes, it is weird combination: you can be a "go getter" but afraid to start a conversation
@@RoofingInsights3.0 100% correct. I can talk with anyone, and I do, but it drains me and especially crowds. My wife is very extroverted and has people over for get togethers very often. She understands if I need to sneak away to the back or go to the garage for a few minutes to recharge. 😅
a lot of these multitasking things are problematic because you shouldn't multitask because it kills productivity by making you keep on switching your focus
most of the productivity things like recording yourself or the battery thing is easily fixable
like the battery thing can easily be fixed by you establishing a routine you do before bed where you plug in your phone and it would solve the battery problem as well as make you more organised
The battery last only few hours
I prefer to use one phone with two numbers. For example I have a iPhone 12 Pro Max and my personal number is the e-sim and my work number would be the physical sim. On the week ends or when I’m not working I put the work line on always divert or just switch it off. The problem with having two phones is charging two phones every night, mounting two phones whilst driving, connecting to car Bluetooth systems etc. I do a lot of multitasking on my iPhone whilst having my AirPods Pro in my ears. Great video by the way.
It’s wiser to keep your phone charged between 30-80% helps prolong battery life
I was thinking about getting the iPhone 12 Max Pro... my brother had one... yes he had one, but kept dropping it so much it broke (even with a case).... He hates his phone...
What do you think of the 12 Max Pro? Do you still really like it, or would you get another one? Personally I was very impressed with it... the sharpness of the videos was amazing.

The only comment that shows any sense of balance instead of grindset. Good for you!
Using a Samsung Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S22 Ultra since today. I was just trying to find good reasons to do it. Thanks!

Do you use same apple id on both iphones or different apple id's.

So yay!
This video helped me out a lot! On my way to get a second phone because of this video
Wireless headphones would solve half of these problems but some interesting ideas for sure
Awesome thank you for all this, gives me great inspiration after watching your video

And I can not set my memoji in the Account photo.

It's good to have two phones but its real burden to carry 2 phones at same time.
To the extent it means he doesn't have to rely on a laptop, large phone, etc. when he travels, it's a brilliant, cheap, and convenient solution.
you can use wireless headphones to talk to people at the same time though?
Hey bro thank you for this video. i am really getting sick of my phone. it is so distracting. I started to all of the social media and family media ie whatsapp , viber ect. because i can not stop from checking on these apps.

Another awesome video
Thanks again!
Just get you a solid android device instead of the Iphones like a Samsung Note or s.t. You can literally split screen and work on two things on the same time on the same screen.
Plus add a cellular smart watch and a wireless headphones and you're good to go
Exactly what I needed. i've been using two phones for about a year now...i'm never going back.
Do have two different Apple ID for each phone or the same?
I mean 90% of the time it's probably not work though.
sounds like you need a large screen android rather than 2 iphones. Samsung has split screen, pop out apps, dual social media app support, secure folder (you can install the same app in a separate virtual secure folder) etc
