As a Nigerian I find the two phones question so funny. You almost need two phones or at least two sims by default because carrier networks fail so often. So android for my work WhatsApp, email, business calls, navigation as well because my iPhone connects to my car speakers and I HATE the google map voice interrupting my music. Also because my android has space for two physical sims, I house my UK sim in it incase I need to verify things while I’m in Nigeria. Very very convenient set up.

I just started carrying around 2 phones one day and got used to it very quickly. It's made it very easy to compartmentalise my digital life. One is a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and the other is a standard iPhone 13. I use the iPhone mostly for chatting with family and for certain apps that are either exclusive to iPhone, or where I prefer the iPhone version of the app, and I use the Galaxy Note 10 which I've had for longer, for communicating with co-workers, and it's generally my "main" phone that I set alarms on and do most daily tasks on. I know you can do all of that with just one phone/one number, but I actually like having two active phone numbers on different carriers on different phones, and being able to switch off one of them to avoid work stuff when I'm not on the clock without being cut off from my other phone, which I'll use for chatting with family/friends. I don't think I can go back to just using one phone.

Here in our country, it is very common to see people carrying two phones, different carriers. Basically if the number made it to my Pixel, they're in the inner circle.
I understand Marques’s pain when it comes to using two phones with two different numbers. I personally use an iPhone 14PM and a Galaxy S22U and I find myself using my iPhone for especially for music and apps since apps look alot better and are more optimized on iPhones than on Android but I use my S22U more for productivity uses like signing documents with my S-pen and watching RUclips content because for the bigger display without a big hole punch on top like the dynamic island design. I’m glad I am not the only one who rocks two phones even though it can be tough for me sometimes. 😊
On the useless tech question - smart washing machines definitely fall into this category. Some were being promoted with the benefit of ‘start the washing cycle’ remotely - ignoring the fact you still need to go to the machine to load the laundry and any detergents. The only use case where that is of any use is if you’ve left the house and forgotten to put it on. And a lot of people I know wouldn’t put a washer on whilst not in the house anyway.
It's more about - how do you sync your data? Your notes - do you use external app, or you stick to standard notes app on both phones? Your password - how do you sync those? Contacts? Photos? etc.
Talking about the fridges and stuff. Like, at the grocery stores they use glass on fridges, so...if someone wants to know what they have on the fridge just use it. The problem is not having space on the glass, but I believe that a shelf or two is doable.

I’ve recently started using two phones: the iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 11. My current setup is that the iPhone 11 is for all work and business-related tasks like WhatsApp, calls, emails, and everything else. The iPhone 15 Pro Max is now my personal device, handling messages and calls from family and friends, as well as entertainment. But honestly, it’s kind of hard to manage and carry two different phones, and I keep thinking about switching back to a single phone for a simpler, stress-free life.
I don't think that person was asking how to know what to do on which phone? Lmao. The hard part about carrying two phones is the actual logistics of carrying two phones around with you. Like where do you put them? One in each front pocket? Back pocket(s)? Do you carry a bag? Is it harder to keep track of two phones without losing one? Etc. Etc. I carried two for about 4 years and it drove me insane.
I keep my Surface Duo 2 on a hip holster and my S23 Ultra in my pocket. Duo 2 is my primary phone that I also use for work stuff. The S23 Ultra is for taking pictures and for meme storage.
@@WaffleusRex "for meme storage" I'm old AF. Yeah I think pocket and holster is a good way to do it. I started carrying a murse and kept both phones in it.
Where do you put them? That is entirely up to you. I keep mine in my back right. My friend keeps his in his front left because he’s left handed. Most people have 4 pockets. You should not need to carry 2 phones if you really need it. Wanting to carry 2 phones just to have 2 phones will always be uncomfortable
I relate so much to the notion of carrying a lot of cameras but rarely using them lol but yeah film is not digital and digital is not the smartphone so I gotta have them all with me at all times otherwise I’m stressed that I’ll pass on a great shot. Oh well 😅

"Being able to look into the fridge while at the grocery store to see what you need to buy" I would say, make a grocery list before leaving lol. And lets say you can see what's missing in the fridge while you're in the store. What about the things missing in the cupboard or pantry? Do you then go home to check and come back to the store? Smart fridges, not useful yet. Maybe 10 more years it will be able to do some weird item target temperature things which keeps each item at it's own desired temperature despite being stored the same place. That would be smart.
What you just did was make up an example in which it is not useful. I can do that for any item. But I can also give you examples of uses. You’re at work. You wanted to make a pasta dish. You aren’t sure if you have heavy whipping cream. What do you do? Go all the way home to check then go to the store? Or just check the app and find out?
I use Google Fi as my carrier and they have made being a dual phone user pretty easy. I use an eSIM on the iPhone and a data only SIM on my secondary Android device. Currently running an iPhone 12 Pro on eSIM and a Z Fold4 on the data-only SIM
I would like to see a complete video on ot lia a day in life. What task you do on a daily and what phone you use for that. I think it would be interesting.
I use an Android phone and an iPhone as well. I spent 12 years in the mobile phone sales industry. And I’m still in “retail” to this day. I use the iPhone for work. All of my coworkers in my ops department use iPhone so it makes integration at work very easy. And when I’m not working, I put that iPhone on my wireless charger and forget about it until work again. My personal daily driver is Android, a Pixel 7 Pro to be exact, and that is where the entire rest of my life is. I use a WearOS smartwatch, a Chromebook is my main laptop, and my Pixel is never not on me. Android4LYFE!!! But really, I’m just a tech junkie.
I also use two phones, one for work and one for personal. Don’t know how I could ever go back. Plus keeps any IP from work projects completely separate vs personal work/consulting.
The sony xperia 1 iv is my primary phone and the z fold 4 is my secondary phone but I mainly use my z fold 4 as a tablet. I used to put 2 phones in the same pocket and a nexus 7 in my second pocket tablet because I wanted to carry a tablet with me and use my phones as the mobile hotspot for the nexus 7. The z fold 4 is my substitute for a tablet since I use it when it's unfolded for faster texting and watching videos. I barely use it unfolded when watching youtube videos and I always select zoom to fill the screen to get rid of the black bars and crop the videos since the black bars on the top and bottom bother me since thats what I was always looking at when there are videos since the black bars distracting. When something is obtrusive like black bars and a notch exist, it's what I look at the whole time since I'm distracted by it. I'm used to watching media and playing games when there is nothing obtrusive on the screen. For my z fold 4, I use a usb c to usb c cable to plug into my fiio q3 dac amp than into my z fold 4 when using my wired headphones since I used wired headphones all the time. For example the zte red magic 8 pro phone would be a perfect fit for me since it has the features and specs that I want from a phone plus it's all screen with no notch or hole punch camera cutout with an under the display camera that is barely noticeable. I still have my vivo nex s with the pop up camera and I barely used the front facing camera or any smartphone and the speakers are under the display when talking on the phone with the vivo nex s. I would actually buy a phone without a front facing camera include a headphone jack, a charger in the box and have a 100% screen to body ratio. I would just attach a camera by plugging it in with a usb c adapter since there are already accessories for smartphone camera attachments like external lenses or maybe an external display with a usb c attachment as a substitute for the front facing camera.
I carry an S21+, and a 12 mini everyday. I got them both used. I use my iPhone mainly just for music, and a couple of other things. Android mainly for everything, as my Sim is in that
Every time I've travelled with multiple cameras on a trip, I've hated it. Unless I have a specific photo shoot planned ahead of time, more lenses is always more useful and comfortable than multiple cameras. Multiple phones also seems annoying and I feel bad for people who have to do that because of work.
I daily two phones. Two numbers. One for play/media/family other for work, email and taking orders. Best thing ever. Fold 4 for media, pixel 6 for the business.
I'm an iPhone 12 pro user and I just bought a Galaxy note 20 during the holidays to mess around with, I just love having both to get the different phone experiences for different things. I pretty much find myself doing content consumption on the Android and social stuff on the iPhone, makes sense!
9:01 sure, you don’t waste energy opening the fridge just to see inside, but instead you waste energy all the time because an LCD screen is a poor insulator. 😉 It might not actually be that bad: it’s conceivable you could put a large enough vacuum gap between the screen and an inner layer of glass to provide good insulation while still being transparent. But I’m deeply skeptical.
Our LG fridge has a clear door. When you knock on it the light inside turns on, but no cameras, screens, etc. Which is great to avoid expensive repairs down the road.
I use two phones daily. One personal and one work phone. Both have a little bit of overlap as well. It has entrenched in my life. Now I can't go back to having only one phone.
Oh man, I go out of my way to not carry stuff. Unless it can be justified it doesn't go in my bag. If something was in my bag but I haven't used it in a while it goes out of the bag. This is how I can fly just about anywhere for a week with only a backpack and maybe a small camera bag if I have camera gear. And even then I can usually single-bag it.
From high school, I've had 2 phones with different numbers from different carriers. At one point, I had 3 phones (2 from the same carrier, but one is postpaid and the other prepaid), but I lost the (prepaid). In a country like Jamaica, where there are currently only 2 networks, there are areas where one doesn't work and the other picks up. I'm always an Android junkie and my current daily driver for the last 6yrs has been an Honor 5X. I'd normally have 2 sims in it and for my 2nd number, the whatsapp (which I use for personal business) is on an even older LG L70. But last September, I bought my 1st iPhone (a 7) to retire the L70 and I started using it more than I expected. The 2nd sim has been in it and it is what I use for music and multiple apps that aren't compatible with the 5X. Also, anything to do with work, people have that number, especially those with iPhones. Sometimes I use 2 different data plans. But with my postpaid data update for the Droid, I use hotspot for the iPhone. After 6yrs of usage, 1 battery change and a ton of misery, I am changing my daily Droid this coming week to a Google Pixel 3a. Lets see how that works.
i have 2 phones, my iphone xr is for work related apps and whatsapp and my iphone 12 is for personal apps like social media and whatsapp for family and close friends. i also have an ipad to watch netflix, disney+, youtube, and other video streaming services not only on a bigger screen but also in my even private environment where i can’t disturbed by both my work colleagues and my close friends. and to make my workflow easier i use macbook to ease my file transfer from phone to laptop and vice versa.
As a father with a family, I can't tell you enough times that I've been grocery shopping and forget to check if we have xy&z and no one will be home to check the fridge. Sounds like a god send. ... if it was just me starving, I wouldn't care as much tbh
I have had two phones for over 10 years - one for work and one personal. I use to use one phone for both but I was getting calls from work when i was not on call all hours day and night and did not care at all for any of that. Now when I am off and not on call I keep the work phone on silence and may or may not check, but not compelled to answer.

I've used 2 phones daily for about 12 years. I liked Galaxy Note phones so much that I was carrying the Notes 9 and 10 Plus. I didn't want the Note 20 Ultra so I sold the Note 9 and bought the iPhone 11 Pro Max. Nowadays my favourite combinati on of an iPhone Pro Max and a Galaxy S Ultra. And I have no intention of changing it.
I've been carrying 2 phones since, 2016ish. Iphone and Galaxy Fold at one point. Currently iphone and S22. I like having access to both ecosystems and it's way easier than constantly switching.
There is something called electrochromic glass/windows. Their transparency can be changed depending on the voltage you run through them, so he could be taking about those
I carry 3 SIM cards. 2 prepaid on 2 different networks because the way my country works, there are spots where data works better on one telco but not the other. I have non-expiring prepaid data on both so there's no unnecessary spending. The prepaid SIM cards are for personal use on android. I carry an iPhone for work. So personal stuff on one phone, work on the other. EXCEPT navigation, which goes on the iPhone so I have a free screen to run other apps on the other phone. Waze on the iPhone with turn by turn audio directions on, and RUclips or Spotify on android to just play in the background while I drive. So I never have to interrupt my navigation (lots of turns in my area due to trying to get around traffic so it's great to have a dedicated screen so I don't miss a turn).
Specifically regarding the cameras I feel this. I limit myself to two cameras at the most. I choose one film and usually one digital camera. I might throw in a film point and shoot to bring it to 3 cameras at the max
Keep in mind Marquess has more disposable income than us. Although I think most of us can pay monthly for two high end phones most of us would need lower end phones if we were being smart with our money.
have you ever dropped one of your phones on the other phone? I literally just did that. Dropped an iPhone 13mini on a Pixel 6. Sidenote: Do you ever have any reason to call one of your phones with the other? Party tricks? How do you deal with activity tracking? Doubling up all your metrics? You wear an apple watch so guessing that is one of the things you focus on with the apple ecosystem. Do you ever compare with the data google fit has on you?
iPhone 13 Pro and pixel fold (previously pixel 7) iPhone is chatting with family, and work since I have teams on it (basically personal and professional communication. I used a 2-sim phone for a number of years before I switched to 2 phones and now as Marquees say, it's natural and I can't imagine using a single one... Compartmentalizing comes naturally, you almost don't have to think about it
Here in our country, it is very common to see people carrying two phones, different carriers. I personally use two phones (just like Marques' setup, an iPhone and an Android, a Pixel to be exact) my iPhone has my work contacts and my Pixel has my personal contacts.
I currently have a iPhone and Samsung on order, do you have them joined together, or are they separate ?
On the useless tech question - smart washing machines definitely fall into this category. Some were being promoted with the benefit of ‘start the washing cycle’ remotely - ignoring the fact you still need to go to the machine to load the laundry and any detergents. The only use case where that is of any use is if you’ve left the house and forgotten to put it on. And a lot of people I know wouldn’t put a washer on whilst not in the house anyway.
"Simple. I have two hands. My pants have 2 pockets. My outlets have 2 plug spots. My face has 2 eyes. My need is 2 phones."
I Like the way you Present the Product & Yours Review about the Product Is Great and Very Useful to Purchase the Produts Editing Is Fab and is Like Learner the way u edit the video.
Just an FYI for people outside of indian Sub continent, WE INDIANS DO HAVE 2 PHONE NUMBERS, BY 2 DIFFERENT SERVICE PROVIDERS. ITS VERY COMMON HERE.
I was watching an expression when you said "You have like 2 numbers" for you'll its odd or rare, for us its normal 😁
Yeah, kisi bhi dusre bande ke phone se call karta hu to har baar poochna padta hai, jio se karu ya Airtel se ? 😂
@@WaffleusRex "for meme storage"
I'm old AF.
Looks like they don't know dual SIM phones
use bag bro
I relate so much to the notion of carrying a lot of cameras but rarely using them lol but yeah film is not digital and digital is not the smartphone so I gotta have them all with me at all times otherwise I’m stressed that I’ll pass on a great shot. Oh well 😅
I love your content,I love listening to you guys ,so informative ,I hope you guys never stop doing everything that you do ,i mean it!
Marques built a special monarchy, not a team we cant call it that way... its way better and much more than a team... Kudos guyz
05:57 I realized at the same time as Andrew that they were talking about shit that they take that they don't use. I literally said "why the fuck would I take shit I'm not gonna use?" In my head.
“ Get your shit together” pretty much sums it up
I like how marques is sharing the floor/ for speaking
"can't comprehend inefficiency" 😂😂😂
I use 6 phones per week.
Android: Razr 5G, Flip 3, & Pixel 3.
iOS: iPhone SE3, X, & 7.
NGL. their podcast quality is way too OP. Its actually better than many youtubers’ main content. Kudo mkbhd
Same here, S23U for play and power apps including streaming apps & Iphone14pro(work apps, personal banking apps and video recording boring imessage)
"Being able to look into the fridge while at the grocery store to see what you need to buy"
I would say, make a grocery list before leaving lol.
I would really like to see more of these guys on your main channel. Not just podcasts.
They have a studio channel too. His main channel isn’t really about personality. It’s about products
@@toptiertech7291 You mean ike tech review products?
I use Google Fi as my carrier and they have made being a dual phone user pretty easy. I use an eSIM on the iPhone and a data only SIM on my secondary Android device. Currently running an iPhone 12 Pro on eSIM and a Z Fold4 on the data-only SIM
I would like to see a complete video on ot lia a day in life. What task you do on a daily and what phone you use for that. I think it would be interesting.
"it's unfortunate that it's the biggest one"
killed me for some reason
5:54 bro was so mad he was confuzzled 😭😭😹
The Andrew portion was priceless!!!
David Imel, we need a practical explaination of how you do use 4 cameras! Love to learn!!
I carry an S21+, and a 12 mini everyday. I got them both used.
I use my iPhone mainly just for music, and a couple of other things. Android mainly for everything, as my Sim is in that
"Is that three phones?"
"No it's an experience" 😂😂😂😂
Every time I've travelled with multiple cameras on a trip, I've hated it. Unless I have a specific photo shoot planned ahead of time, more lenses is always more useful and comfortable than multiple cameras. Multiple phones also seems annoying and I feel bad for people who have to do that because of work.
I daily two phones. Two numbers. One for play/media/family other for work, email and taking orders. Best thing ever. Fold 4 for media, pixel 6 for the business.
11:10 Ellis looks like he just woke up from a loooooooooong deeeeep sleeeeep haha
Good Outro!!
Marques at 4:50, best candid smile ever
I'm an iPhone 12 pro user and I just bought a Galaxy note 20 during the holidays to mess around with, I just love having both to get the different phone experiences for different things. I pretty much find myself doing content consumption on the Android and social stuff on the iPhone, makes sense!
Same here
My favorite part of this was hearing the apps MKB uses. That would make an interesting video! Carrot? Never heard of it!
It's a weather app. He showed it in a previous show some weeks back
Stick w/ the weather network. More accurate
Man I’ve been dailying 2/3 to phones since the early 00s 😂😅 IYKYK
Thank you for calling out how awesome Relay is on android. I went iPhone for a while and NOTHING could replace it for accessing reddit.
9:01 sure, you don’t waste energy opening the fridge just to see inside, but instead you waste energy all the time because an LCD screen is a poor insulator. 😉
It might not actually be that bad: it’s conceivable you could put a large enough vacuum gap between the screen and an inner layer of glass to provide good insulation while still being transparent.
Now I can't go back to having only one phone.
lmao that "get your shit together" screamed OCD freak!
I swear David sounds like Nate from The office 😂 4:58 specifically
5:57 😂😂😂😂 I’m dead
I’ve been wondering how he did this FOREVER. This was eye opening.
Andrew ate them up with that efficiency bit 😭😭
i have 2 phones, my iphone xr is for work related apps and whatsapp and my iphone 12 is for personal apps like social media and whatsapp for family and close friends. i also have an ipad to watch netflix, disney+, youtube, and other video streaming services not only on a bigger screen but also in my even private environment where i can’t disturbed by both my work colleagues and my close friends. and to make my workflow easier i use macbook to ease my file transfer from phone to laptop and vice versa.
Pleasantly surprised MKHB uses his Android phone 75% of the time.
usually its one big phone and one small phone, but you take the cake
Andrew: "I'm the apitemy of efficiency baby" 😂
well, i'd love to see you review that fridge!
I daily 0 phones.
Mmmmmmm, based?
i got -1 phones
As a father with a family, I can't tell you enough times that I've been grocery shopping and forget to check if we have xy&z and no one will be home to check the fridge. Sounds like a god send.
... if it was just me starving, I wouldn't care as much tbh
6x7 120 medium format film is 8 dollars a roll (on the low end) for around 10 photos.
It makes sense to carry a digital camera when traveling
One of the best podcasts 💯🙏❤️
I have had two phones for over 10 years - one for work and one personal. I use to use one phone for both but I was getting calls from work when i was not on call all hours day and night and did not care at all for any of that. Now when I am off and not on call I keep the work phone on silence and may or may not check, but not compelled to answer.
You can disable the second sim when you get out of work
I've used 2 phones daily for about 12 years.
The Outros are the reason I watch these clips to the end
That fridge is the "LG Knock" We just looked at it and decided to get the one without the window...but still makes craft ice :)
I've been carrying 2 phones since, 2016ish. Iphone and Galaxy Fold at one point. Currently iphone and S22. I like having access to both ecosystems and it's way easier than constantly switching.
Use the Flip 5 as daily phone to carry because of the size. I use the Note 10+ for content consumption and gaming.
There is something called electrochromic glass/windows. Their transparency can be changed depending on the voltage you run through them, so he could be taking about those
I've been doing it for years. One for cellular service text/talk and the other for internet.
funniest part of the video for me was, "can't comprehend inefficiency"
Iphone 8 and P30 user.
A lot of writing and reading on the iphone (love the size) and a lot of video and music on the P30
I have a phone for every TikTok I'm subbed to
Why does everyone sound like they work at starbucks
"Get your shit together" go Andrew
right. Exactly.
4:10 David is so cute 🥺
iPhone 13 Pro and pixel fold (previously pixel 7) iPhone is chatting with family, and work since I have teams on it (basically personal and professional communication. Pixel fold (or whatever Android phone) I do NOT have any of my work communication , emails on it. It’s firmly my phone I use when I want to not be bothered and I can do more media consumption.
Me here. One android and one iPhone.
Just one question for Marques:
Which one does he use for Mobile Banking and Investment - Andrioor iOS?
