How to Merge Two Apple IDs

- Have two Apple IDs? It's easier to merge them than you think! In this tutorial, I'll teach you an easy solution to make your 2 Apple IDs "play well" together.
Having 2 Apple IDs isn't a common issue, but for those affected, it can mean losing everything digital purchase you've ever made including movies, TV shows, Apps, Books, etc.
There are two common ways that you can end up with two Apple IDs. The most common method goes like this: Back in the early 2000s, you probably created your first Apple ID which you used during the early days of iTunes and the App Store. Later on down the road, Apple introduced a service called "Mac.com" which eventually became "Me.com" and then, finally evolved into "iCloud.com." One of the features this service included was the ability to create a new email address ending in "Mac.com", "Me.com", or "iCloud.com" What Apple DIDN'T tell you is these e-mail addresses are themselves an identity, capable of making purchases. In my experience, the point where this becomes an issue is when the user gets a NEW Apple device (iPhone, iPad, or Mac) and instead of signing in with their old ID, they use the new identity. AND IT'S ALL DOWN HILL FROM THERE!!!!

Oh David. You had my hopes high. I was hoping there was a way to merge. I am already sharing two IDs. I was hoping to recover a closed Apple ID. How do you get folders in alpha order in notes. I can only seem do organize the sub folders. Wen I add folders, they are all over the place.
But, how do you manage multiple IDs when you are an expat ? Family is only when you are in the same country. Expats are forced to get ids due to apps availability in different regions. It is a dilemma I have since ever
You can just sign in App Store with another Apple ID, it won’t affect your iCloud and main apple id from your device. The pain comes in when you want to setup a child account with your primary Apple id which is another region as your child can’t log out and sign in with another account to download apps like we do using this method. It is currently a pain
This whole Apple ecosystem is the worst. I thought Apple is supposed to be easy for people who aren't computer savvy. I've never witnessed a more complicated mess of nonsense where absolutely everything you want to do is completely dependent on some "icloud" identity. You can only have one account associated with an iphone or ipad? Why? My wife is Japanese. She has a Japanese Apple ID. Consequently, it's a constant battle to do things like add her to my family group and make things work correctly. There's always some stupid issue as to why some feature is not working properly. Then if she wants an app that's only in the US Apple store. Sorry, you need to change the region for your entire Apple account and therefore lose complete access to your Japanese Apple store apps/subscriptions. I hate Apple and their entire line of bullshit devices.

Thanks for the video! The challenge with this solution is that, if I am not wrong, any purchases from that point on, will be charged to the credit card under the family organizer. If Apple one day allows to each individual, under that family, buy their own content with their personal cc and then share the content within the family, it would be excellent.
I did family sharing few years ago because at one point I had 2 IDs for 2 iPhones (work and personal at the time). Now my family needs the “extra” person to accommodate my kids. Any work around without losing my purchases?

Unfortunately, it didn't work for me. Somehow, Apple recognized the other Apple ID was me and was told that I was already a member of the family.
So can I be in my iPhone if and log into among us with my iPads id
