It's such a shame that the only place you feel able to be your true self is at a pride event. People are far to quick to judge now a days and I don't understand why. You look fantastic and you should be proud of yourself. Just be yourself whenever and wherever. Don't let people judging you put you down and make you feel out of place. You have as much right as anyone else does in being who you truly are to be honest. People stare and people have opinions but at the end of the day what do they know? Nothing. You shouldnt need to always feel on gaurd. Just remember your awesome and people who have time to judge you without knowing you clearly have nothing better to do.
I know it's off topic but I'm a mum of 2 children under the age of 3. 2 years and 7 weeks old. Both girls. The only time I feel ok with being out is when I'm with my family or my partner. If I'm by myself im always conscious of everything and everyone. I'm always being stared at and judge. I just think to myself that at the end of the day when I'm 36 my children will be old enough to look after and do things for themselves and I'll still be young enough to do the things I would have liked to do at my age now (21, 22 on the 31st july). As long as my girls are happy then I don't care what people have to say and I know it's probably same with you but no matter what I still go out and feel awkward if by myself really. I try keep myself distant and just try stay in really to prevent me from feeling like that because I don't even have any friends any More.
Anyway just remember, you should be proud of yourself and dont let anyone bring you down. X

The vibes between American and the UK ones are quite different, yet it seems British one is more relaxed. 🙂

I'd love to go to a Trans Pride event in America to see what it's like. The Brighton one is fantastic, a lot of love and acceptance all around, such a wonderful place to be.

@@AmberEvans In some parts of the U.S do accept trans community, but there are equal numbers of people who do not-- even from within our community. It is quite sad, really.

Yes it does seem that way the states where I live are very unsupportive of the LGBT community and it makes me mad I wish the world was like this everywhere supportive loving and caring
I've been wanting to get a Male to female surgery for awhile now and I've only told a few people my family would probably kick me out if they found out......my parents keep saying I'm there boy and they will always love me
But my question is is it for who I am or for who they want me to be because it seems as its option two........I just feel so depressed so I need to go to a transpride
