I have a question I sprayed it all in one color can I put my vinyl stencil on top of that first coat I did so the design can stay the color red because the other color would be black
Is there any sort of sticky / tacky finish with the dishwasher safe Mod Podge you're using to seal now? I'm trying to finish my first cup and was going to go get the triple thick spray until I saw your Mod Podge comment.
Viktor Salas it's your preference. at the top it is allowing a place for your lips to touch where there is no paint since the paint has chemicals and is toxic. you could use a straw instead.
If you use Rust-Oleum paint, it is non-toxic once it's fully cured (7-10 days). They've stated that it's safe to use on baby cribs, toys, and hunting calls once fully cured.
Just beautiful 💞
I don’t leave the ring around the top and bottom. I paint it all. And I put a decal on mine after it’s painted and leave it on.
good video...i subbed you!

Viktor Salas yes, just make sure the first coat/color is absolutely dry so it doesn't peel up when you remove the vinyl

no tackiness. I'm really happy with the mod podge.
Thanks! :)
What size is the font? And what did you spray it with after peeling off the vinyl? Thanks
The quote came all together so I'm not sure on font size. I used clear sealer in the video but now use dishwasher safe mod podge.
what type of vinyl did you use? Oracal 651 would stay on right...so what did you use that was removable?
I used hobby lobby vinyl on some and oracle 631 on some.
does this hid the logo
Is it safe to use spray paints on cups and water bottles? I know they are mostly used for crafts and furniture
there is an FDA approved epoxy sealer you can buy from hobby lobby that is food safe.
I use spray paint. 2 coats and then 2 coats of clear.
how many washes before it fades or chipps?
I have used mine for months and months. No chipping or issues yet. My mil even put it in the dishwasher. It's held up great for me!
where did you get the vinyl quote?
it is an svg off of etsy
My paint is running off what did I do wrong
Didn't sand it good enough probably recommend 120 to 240 grit sand paper maybe a 400 grit
Is it necessary to put tape on top and bottom

Would be a good idea to use etch primer before paint
