great video - it would have taken a ml th to go through the 600+ pages owner’s manual to find these. I have had the 2024 Tacoma SR for one week and absolutely love it. Disappointing though that with all the adds and features they did not include an auto lock on the fuel door.
Stop complaining about the price tag. It's not that bad compared to the US made trucks. Just bought a 2024 Tacoma TRD Off Road. Best vehicle I have ever owned and it's not even close.
Just talked them down to $44k out the door for my manual transmission trd off road. The center console next to the shifter doesn't have nearly as much storage space, but it's fun to have a manual. It is NOT geared to get up and go fast though; you need to shift to 2nd halfway through a 4 way intersection and the rev hang between gears is crazy long.
The secret type C I use for my USB Thumb drive as I have a bunch of mixes that I listen to when I don't have cell reception. My previous thumb drive was standard USB so I got a $7 converter, and then ended up buying a USB C thumb drive so it looked better and was smaller.
i you go into the settings that feature would help me alot because i have no vision on my left side every time im driving threw a shopping center people assume i see them when they are comming from my left side
One thing I learned is that on the key FOB if you hold down the lock button and simultaneously press unlock twice it puts the FOB to sleep. So you don't need to hide your keys in a faraday bag. Also saves the battery life
Cut out the a cable hole and put a battery disconnect in the secret storage spot. I believe marine disconnects have a circle style that might just fit in there.
I just bought a 24 Tacoma and I've noticed that there is no security red flashing light in the dash when the truck is locked. Am I missing something? I had one in my 2017 Tundra that I traded in.

Is there a way to turn off seat belt warning for passenger side front? My dog sets it off the warning and only way to get rid of buzzer is install seat belt
There are settings only the dealer may change, and seat belt warning beeps are one of them. I believe there are 3rd party “port” devices which will allow you access to those settings. You may also take it to a dealership and ask them to do it for you, but they may charge you for it. Check out your driver’s manual and towards the back are all of the options which are electronically customizable. It will also let you know which are customizable by you and which can only be done by a “dealership”. Hope this helps!
500 miles and not going over 60 mph no hard braking run it through all gears just to make sure it last over 200,000 miles. I currently also have a 2008 jeep wrangler with over 280k miles no major engine work or transmission issues all basic maintenance.
@@TheSylvesterruelas Toyota recommends oil changes at 10K miles or once a year at least (if you don’t drive more than 10K miles). Of course, you can change your oil as often as you like, but so long as you check your fluid levels regularly, it’s probably overkill (unless you’re extra hard on the vehicle). I was told years ago that “break-in periods” are no longer required for most newer vehicles. I used to think I should change the oil every 5K miles, but the best recommendation is to do as the manufacturer states in their manuals. I figure, they built the things, so they should now how best to take care of them. Most people don’t bother to take the time to read their owner’s manuals and simply rely on what others tell them to do or what they’re “used” to doing. There’s nothing wrong with that either, it’s their money, it’s their truck, and they may treat it however they want.
I was told by a dealership that’s the secret compartment cap has a QR code on the back you can scan to 3D print different stuff to go in there. If it’s 100% true, not sure but it sounds believable.
There’s a QR on the back of that hidden compartment in the first few seconds of this video. Scan it with your phone and it’ll take you to the Taco Club
1" more space than the old Tacoma actually. It’s the pros with the shocks in the seats that takes away the space. I just got a 24 sport ultimate. I have 2 kids. I traded in a 23 sport ultimate. The 24 is better in every way.
