its funny you just posted this... i normally dont measure my shots but yesterday after the rain i went out to my local disc golf course that has a driving range and i wanted to see how far i got and im 4 feet short of your best shot. good times
Plenty of FPO players throw Terns. If you want to know how most discs will fly for you most of us "guys" should be watching FPO. But no, we'll just keep buying Destroyers so our Ego doesn't hurt
UDisc is pretty inconsistent with measuring distance. I would suggest a range finder. I would also suggest some of the same discs in a lighter weight, or slower discs. I would bet you gain distance. Just my humble opinions.
I just recently got a 163g Tern and that thing outperforms all my other drivers. Probably 50 feet further than my 175g Tern. No bueno in the wind but it has definitely improved my scoring.
Turn 12/6/-2/2, Mamba 11/6/-5/1 (not that understable unless in 150g or so), Cannon 14/5/-3/3, Grace 11/6/-1/2, Shryke 13/6/-2/2. Most were probably way too fast for her arm speed. I know when I'm tired and not throwing at my normal power. My 9 speeds go just as far if not farther than my distance drivers. I've tried throwing several speed 13&14.5 numerous times none are max distance for me. I can get 400-500 feet out of 11&12 speeds. When my arm speed & technique were weaker. Speed 9 & 10 discs were my max distance. I don't think 13 & 14 speeds are reaching their potential unless you can consistently throw over 500ft. If one has a lower arm speed. At some point faster discs seem detrimental to getting more distance. That's just my opinion after extensive testing and spending 5-8 thousand on discs over eight + years.
You are measuring your internet distance wrong. Make sure you set your teepad at least 50 feet back from where you actually threw and pick your disc up and walk at least 50 feet past where it actually landed. Then you can join the internet distance clown car.
You kept saying "I feel like I can throw a lil farther than that." The thing is, you can. With your pretty good form and snap, you should be gliding out to 350-360, but you're using too high speed of disc. Grab you a discmania essence and throw it with 75% power and I bet you will surpass 330 because your arm speed matches the disc. Two other great disc that I think will go further than your high speed drivers are the 9 speed infinite discs Dynasty and the 10 speed forged Era. Don't believe me? Try it.😊. Dga Pipeline is another 8 speed driver that goes just as far as my 11 speed wraiths. I have plenty of new pipeline backups, send me a DM and I'll send you one.
Kara your amazing! It doesn't seem like your arm gets tired. I say all 3 rounds were very close. I just love watching you play. Take care and job well done. 🥏🥏🥏
Great throws Kara

Nice!
thank god somebody is throwing the terns.
I love them!

@@prattacaster couldn't agree more! I like the Hades & the Enigma for max distance!
What's that distance app you were using?
I used Udisc but apparently the app is not reliable for measuring distance
The record backhand was thrown with a 156 gram disk. Why would women throw a 175g disc? I don't understand.
You know how to throw the frisbee very well, you are such a pro

I struggle with lighter weight discs as I tend to flip them over. I typically throw 167-175 class. Thanks for the heads up about UDisc!
Great video, I would compare a range finder to udisc, sometimes udisc is way off. You crushed those discs.
Okay! I’ll keep that in mind 😊
I've been thinking about getting a rangefinder, but I'm a bit clueless. U got any recommendations?
@@martin_wilson81 I use the Bushnell one, but I hear the MVP is really similar.
Wow this made me like you so much hahaha. Realistic distance with wind and flat ground!

Heck yeah!
Thanks for the video. Keep that content coming. Stay blessed 😁
Thank you! You too!
great video wish u would have put flight numbers of the disc

Good distance! 😊
Thanks 😁
love the grace!
Your distance was excellent given that you were throwing golf lines! I bet if you tried a big anny-flex, you could get well over 400!
Using UDisc to measure is usually short the +\-. Use range finder next time
You officially outdrive me, good video ;)
do you feel like the numbers on the mamba are accurate? That was a good throw and with the numbers on that disc id expect it to completely turn over.
I love my Terns I can get my Gstar tern about 350 champion 325
Nice!
That was awesome! You throw those disks like they owe you money!!! 😆👍🏻✌🏼
Thanks Danny!

You're form is so smooth I thought you would have easily hit 350ft.
I believe I can! Just more practice 😄
Try a prodigy d4. Or a discraft hades! Bet they go farther!😁
I wanted to throw my Hades but I lost it a couple weeks before making this video lol

Perhaps I’ll do a RUclips video to see if I can throw the Essence farther than my other drivers 😮
@@karaleediscgolf I would add to that Dynamic Discs Escape. That things bombs and it is slower disc. Have had some very far throws with them myself
@@DGSheriff I second this comment. I've got a 173g Supreme Escape, and that thing bombs!
328 feet = 100 m
That is good 👍
Hi Greg here u should try a corvet
You can crush! Badass!
Thanks Tara!
I bet you could throw over 350' with some lighter discs!
