- What a month it's been. I'm honestly just enjoying the process and don't feel any rush for anything. I'm trying to keep the pressure low and not worry about too much. It's fun to feel a new motivation and excitement for the game of disc golf. I'm really curious to see what will happens these first few weeks on tour! Ready?'

Gonna be super easy for a big arm like Simon with a company like mvp producing great disc's! You saw all the mvp plastic represented at the distance challenge, I'm sure Simon will work even harder knowing he throws 50 feet less now

that bag sounds like a very simple mix of all the speeds and stabilities and yet also so exciting at the same time! Mvp really does have some very creative unique stuff I’m excited to see you throw this year!
I have personally thrown the Proxy for years and it's the best putter disc I've ever thrown, I own all kinds of plastics of it and different weights. It's a blast to throw!

Very happy to see the Tesla and Proxy getting some love. Definitely two of my favorite discs, and I'm always surprised that I never see anyone else bagging them

I've fallen in love with custom Axiom discs recently, I've missed so much by not considering MVP, Axiom, Streamline.
I've mainly thrown Innova, Infinite Discs, Dynamic Discs, and Latitude 64.
So excited the season is here. Do your thing Simon!

Love that he found all the colorful rims, I remember him commenting on not entirely loving the black rims.
So glad Simon is loving the proxy. I’ve been saying it for years. It’s the best. Super straight. You can do a lot with it. Slight turns. Straight. Slight fades. But yes you still need a disc more overstable. Envys are good. I prefer a proton atom (or neutron) they need to make new premium atoms.
I was SO interested to see how much Streamline ended up in your bag. Imagine my surprise when the Stabilizer overtook the ENVY of all discs!! Good luck, Simon!

I like the proxy better than the envy too. It took a long time to realize it and they're both beat, but the proxy is my go-to and the envy is closer to utility. It makes sense in retrospect - James throws his envy super hard and it's beat in. He didn't retire the famous envy until he had the chance to beat a new one in over the off season.
@@robshookphoto ive been bagging both a proxy and an envy in electron, but im thinking about replacing them with the neutron spin and soft neutron proxy, will take a few rounds to see if its working though

Stabilizer has been in my bag since the beginning of me having a bag, such a good disc!

I LOVE the stabilizer in that same plastic for short shots that need big arcs. Great choice. It holds hyzers super tight.
I have a theory why some less known discs works better for Simon; I observed that when I throw a disc a bit nose up, most of my discs are pretty forgiving; I'll lose a bit of distance but it will do what it is supposed to do. Not true with my MVP discs; if I throw a bit too nose up, I get punished; my volt dumps straight away, and my photon start fading too soon. So I need to remind myself and make sure to point their nose down; when I do then I get nice straight and long distances. Simon throws weird lines with weird angles and sometimes throw with nose up on purpose to control the speed and landing behavior of the flight. I think that MVP discs react more strongly to those weird angles and nose up and thus I think thats why Simon has to use unusual discs that behave more in line with his style. Good luck Simon!

I once bought 100 different putter mds to find a throwing putter. The Proxy was the only one that did things that no other could match. It covers your mistakes, flies long and true. The Proxy is a great tool to learn how to throw a true hyzer and especially anyhyzer. Plasma and soft neutron, electrons are not special.

Nice that you found one of the straighter Panics! I have two left and they're my gems, they have that sweet combination of stability and glide. I wish MVP would start making domey drivers again 🤞
You gotta check out the relay! Im so glad you are trying the dimension. I've been bagging one for a few years now and it used to be a meathook but my arm speed has gone up and its beat in to a great diver.
The relay is my go to driver for holes under 400... Consistent 350-380 with little effort. I love it.
I stayed over at work for 16 minutes and 16 seconds to watch this. That's how excited I am to hear about Simon's bag.
11 speed love! My go to speed drivers as well. They just feel extremely comfortable and they still go really far.
Axiom and Streamline discs are so pretty. I love the colored rims so much.
I can smell a signature Lizotte 12 speed in the making...

Simon - I can’t say how hyped I got when you pulled out a Dimension and said you would be putting it to work on tour. I left an earnest comment urging you to test out this disc a few weeks ago when you first announced your switch because I honestly believed it was the max distance stable driver built for a throw speed like yours. I’m happy to see you’ve found it to your liking and I can’t wait to see your huge drives and crazy skip shots with this disc on tour.

I have to say I'm glad I'm not the only one who just loves the feel of an MVP 11 speed, I love my wave, do I have the arm speed for it? No, not really, can I reasonably throw 9 speeds? Yes, so the wave isn't too crazy, but it feels so good in the hand.

Careful with the soft neutron in super hot weather conditions. There is a difference in grip with higher temperatures.

i honestly wonder if Simon not throwing an Envy could actually be even better for MVPs overall sales. The envy has enough behind it that i dont know if demand would really increase that much more. I guess we will see where proxy and stabilizer sales are at in a year

I got to be honest Simon, I’m legit surprised you’re not bagging that blue Volt. Unless you lost it, I felt that was gonna be a go to disc. You threw that probably the most consistent when testing them out in previous vlogs.

which disc is the fd replacement.. I tried a crave a couple of weeks ago and it didn't really fly anything like my fd's

@@austinhamilton9444 hells no, I buy maybe 5 discs a year, but a friend got some mvp discs and I was curious to try, I throw with a lot of spin and it did feel the gyroscopic effect kept them holding their line more, but they were all very flat which I didn't like so much
@@subspaceanomaly that resistor is probably his FD replacement. I was thinking a slightly more stable Volt would have been that disc though.

If there’s one disc I would have recommended to you and gave you my word that it was good when you transferred to MVP, I would have said the Tesla. Really glad you found that disc. I love it.

Enjoy watching your learning journey. I’m not a hardcore Gyronaut, but do bag a few of the same discs. Eclipse Resistor and Proton Fireball are the two best forehand roller discs I’ve ever tried. Trace is always excellent. If you want a more stable run, look for the Cosmic Neutron. Hokom signature run is great, but Trace if Spades is beefiest run I’ve thrown. Maybe perfect for your power!
Now can MVP put together the Simon’s bag bundle? One copy of all the discs in your bag 👍👍

I just picked up a lizottle, its gonna be my go to midrange now. Feels way better in hand and atleast for rhbh throws it is extremely straight/neutral

Was hoping to still see the Servo in the bag because it's a personal favorite of mine (and I think it would be a better compliment to the Tesla than the Crave), but I'm just happy you took the 2 weeks off to dial in your game and discs to prep for the season. Because as much as I love the RUclips content, I love you playing well on the Pro Tour even more. Glad you're being honest with yourself and throwing what's working for you too, and not forcing things like putting an Envy in the bag just because everyone else at MVP does, when it isn't working for you. Have fun at the All Star event this weekend!
Stabilizer is such a good disc!! Anny forehand flicks for something that holds the line. it wears in to a very neutral straight flyer with some fade. I'm surprised you aren't also bagging an Entropy that will stay OS as it wears in.
Finally Dimension! My first thought for a distance bomber for young Lizotte. Good luck on tour!
