I am so proud! You are an inspiration for others. I hope to be at your level one day and feel comfortable enough to play in a tournament of any level. If I do end up in a tournament, that is purely because of your videos!
@hyzerponix yep my first 3 tournaments were rec and I plan on staying in Rex until I get to a point where I’m somewhat consistent and I know I can compete in the next division. Playing in rec is the most fun I’ve had in my life. The other people on my cards were so funny and nice
Recently won my first tournament (MA2). The whole time I reminded myself I was there to have fun and to just play casually. It really helped keep me in a good mental space where I wasn't being hard on myself for mistakes, or pressuring myself to make up for them on the next hole. I took that same mentality to the next tournament... and won that one too. Don't underestimate how important the mental part of the game is. Take some pressure off of yourself and remember why you're out there: because you love the sport and have fun playing it.
This was an awesome video! I laughed a lot. I've not played my first tournament yet, but it it goes anywhere near as good as yours, I'll be happy. You both did a great job. Congratulations, and thanks for sharing.
This video shows the subtle nuances of a first-timer tournament so well. The wondering who is furthest out, the comradery between the players, the good shots, the doinked putts. What an awesome video.
I cannot imagine making a disc golf video in another language to the point where it's as funny as you guys put together.... phenomenal work. I've been watching forever....love the shout out to Tomas on his nemesis hole...
“Why are you playing so good suddenly?” “I’m drunk. No” 😂😂 Amazing work, Jonathan! It’s been such a pleasure following along on your disc journey, also a pleasure buying and throwing a lot of Latitude 64 plastic! Keep up the great work and amazing content!
After just one tournament you ended up with a rating of 819. Wow, that's amazing!! Congrats Jonathan! After 3 tournaments I am at 694 at the moment (ok, after starting Discgolf just 6 months ago...). You did some great putts on the second round!
I really appreciate that you showed the score along with this. I watch your shows and others and always feel like wow I can’t do this. Today I was a +18 playing with my son. Then I sat down and saw this and said wow, maybe I didn’t do so bad and maybe I can get there someday. Your video is a little bit of an inspiration. Thank you for posting this one.
Played my first 6 tournaments in my first year of discing (2 of them PDGA sanctioned). I totally understand "nervous" -- in one tournament, I didn't even want to finish. Keep inspiring Jonathan!!
I think this is very helpful for people trying to get into the tournament scene. It took me 3 rounds at a tournament to figure out what you figured out in one round. Great vid!
KJSWE ! Honestly makes my top 5 DG-related RUclips channels for a long time now. Everyone who has ever played more than one round of disc golf relates to the journey you're on Jonathan. That's what makes it so attractive. Also Johannes, Johannes makes it attractive. It would be great to see more tournament play in the future, and maybe some workshop type videos with some of Latitude's pros teaching you some specific tricks of theirs. Regardless, keep up the good work. Appreciate it.
"Almost 20 very small chickens, laid point one egg...*oh shit its not over*...twelve..." I legit laughed so hard I pooted. Maybe it was that 0.1 egg trying to come out xD
Clicked it again after a year to see if I would enjoy it as much as the first time. Amazing to see the change in your face and body stature from one round to another. Great lesson to teach anyone playing their first. You guys are awesome, keep going.
OMG thank you for this video. I had my first PDGA tournament last weekend and it went just as good as your first round. In practice plays I was scoring cca PAR - same course but tournament rounds I failed completely. I scored +17/+16/+10 and ended up in last place with +43 after 3 rounds. No idea what happened.
The yellow layout at Terminalen is so much fun! Just short enough that newer players have a chance, and just technical enough that more experienced players still have to try!
@9:59 , @13:33 These are the main differences between the first and the second round! Look at how controlled you were being with these putts, and sticking/ committing to the follow through! The first round you seemed to be jerking them a little bit, and dropping your arm as soon as you released the disc. Nice stuff, Jon-o! I'm sure we'll be seeing you on Jomez lead card coverage soon!
I like the format. Knowing what discs you are throwing helps me know which disks to pick for certain shots as well. You've inspired me to play in a dc league next season. I also need to practice.
"Kevin Jones has to subscribe now"... :-) - Hopefully he will! Keep up the awesome work with the videos and also with your game... I started with disc golf about the same time as you did and it is so great to see somebody else going through the same joys and troubles of the game - showing it in such an authentic and humorous way. Liebe Grüße aus Berlin, Rossi
You two are just naturally hilarious to me. I'm only 4 minutes in but bouncing off the chains and missing and he said "oh ho! Germany" set me off. Crying over here. Great stuff
I enjoyed this so much. Played disc golf for the first time today and took my kids out too after visiting a local pro shop and getting some used discs. It was awesome, and this channel was a big inspiration. Thank you for all the great content!
The good vibes and positive reinforcement were what I enjoyed most about my first tournament. Helped keep me relaxed. Like I was just playing with my friends. Great job on yellow!!
Format is awesome! All your videos are great and have taught me a lot. You are awesome on camera. You and Johannes make GREAT videos. Thanks for all your hard work to educate us(and make us laugh).
This was easily the coolest disc golf video to watch because it not only shows players how tournaments kinda work, but it shows us how you can bounce back from tough rounds and come out shooting your best round ever! Congrats.
Cool man, I've just got my PDGA number too, but I've been playing for 10 years! D'oh! I'm playing my 3rd amateur tournament first weekend of November, the last tournament was a month ago and was PDGA sanctioned, I came 3rd in my division, super stoked 🙌 👏 😀 😎 Kiaora from spring time down under Aotearoa NZ 👍✌🤙
Thanks so much - really fun. Conditions look like where I'm from - Santa Fe, New Mexiso - 7,000' elevation. High of 29 degree F today, but I'm going out to practice putting!
Jonathan, it makes me really happy to see you have such a good course! You seem like such a genuine person. I bet it’d be a blast to play a course with you
Awesome , You have inspired me to sign up for the next local tournament, And i have bought a few Latitude 64 discs just because of your channel!! Cheers from Canada
Do NOT press the link! 😘🤘 /Jonathan

The contrast of the kind and gentle commentary with the Doom soundtrack gets me every time
😂🤘

I am so proud! You are an inspiration for others. I hope to be at your level one day and feel comfortable enough to play in a tournament of any level. If I do end up in a tournament, that is purely because of your videos!
@hyzerponix I like that, don't be scared to suck.
Same!
@hyzerponix yep my first 3 tournaments were rec and I plan on staying in Rex until I get to a point where I’m somewhat consistent and I know I can compete in the next division. Playing in rec is the most fun I’ve had in my life. The other people on my cards were so funny and nice
This reminds me of my first ever tournament as well! Loved this format, more!
Thank you :)

Great(unreal) second round Jonathan! Love the format! :). Also.. "Oh...Germany".
Thank you so much! ❤🤘
As a German, I find this to be really relatable.
What's with the heavy metal music between scenes ....I love it ❤❤❤😂😂 need a Johnathan Playlist 😂😂😂

This was an awesome video! I laughed a lot. I've not played my first tournament yet, but it it goes anywhere near as good as yours, I'll be happy. You both did a great job. Congratulations, and thanks for sharing.
I was legitimately happy for you Jon, to the point I was clapping for every big putt. And Johannes is good on the bag. Y'all's chemistry is great.
Haha thank you!! :)
Looks like it takes you 18 holes to get warmed up 😁 looked like fun! Congrats!
Haha yeah! 😂
This video shows the subtle nuances of a first-timer tournament so well. The wondering who is furthest out, the comradery between the players, the good shots, the doinked putts. What an awesome video.
You didn't have a reminder to breathe written on your palm...you forgot to breathe, Jonathan. Then you remembered that you must breathe! Well done! 👏
I cannot imagine making a disc golf video in another language to the point where it's as funny as you guys put together.... phenomenal work. I've been watching forever....love the shout out to Tomas on his nemesis hole...
Thank you so much!! 🤘❤ Haha yeah I´ve just given up on trying to say the "correct" words.
The end music gets me every time 🤘😂🤘
Best disc golf content on the platform, best subscription decision ever!
All too kind. Thank you ❤🤘
I want more of it. I'm a beginner and that's what I want to see! Everything just fits! Camera, chemistry, humor and disc golf!
All too kind! 😀❤
“Why are you playing so good suddenly?”

Love the way you guys interact with us as viewers. The format works for me. 🍻

I'm enjoying every step of this journey you are on. Congratulations on an amazing first tournament.
Thank you, Bobby. Have a great day! /Jonathan
Stoked for you Jonathan! I really enjoyed this :):):)
thank you!! Glad you liked it :)
Nobody has more fun teaching the rest of us about the game than you two!! Thanks for keeping it light, but really informative.
Played my first 6 tournaments in my first year of discing (2 of them PDGA sanctioned). I totally understand "nervous" -- in one tournament, I didn't even want to finish. Keep inspiring Jonathan!!
Great video, would love more like this, I'm very new to disc golf and also just got my pdga#, respect from Denmark.
What's your number? I wannna be #200000
FIrst of all, great format!
Second, to have been able to follow you and Johannes (big shoutout to all the rest as well, Thomas
Why did someone (3 at this time) give thumbs down!?! You guys rock!! Latitude 64 is BY FAR my favorite RUclips channel!! Keep up the great content!!
I think this is very helpful for people trying to get into the tournament scene. It took me 3 rounds at a tournament to figure out what you figured out in one round. Great vid!
Wow nice Round 2 ... im crying and feeling with you on Round 1. Well done Round 2... congratz ;-)

Yes!!!! This guy is so funny and all around just a good vibe, and to see him improve so much has truly been such an awesome ride!!!

I remember seeing your videos from a year ago. Your progress is awesome! Thanks for sharing the journey.
Loved this format! Leta go!
My whole family loves your videos. Thank you for the great content.
Thats great. Say hi to them =) /Jonathan

LoL’d!!! Love it.
😂
This was amazing! Thanks guys! I've been watching since the start and I can't get enough! Love you all at Latitude 64!
You two are just naturally hilarious to me. I'm only 4 minutes in but bouncing off the chains and missing and he said "oh ho! Germany" set me off. Crying over here. Great stuff
I liked this format. Your videos have the perfect balance of humour, drama and disc golf haha.
Awesome stuff guys, good job! Happy to hear you mention Tomas and his nemesis on hole 10, I thought about him as soon as I saw that tee pad lol.
Very good my friend. God bless you, Johannes and Latitude Team!
The Kevin Jones jokes were killing me. But you played so well! I'm impressed with your performance and I loved watching this.
I enjoyed this so much. Played disc golf for the first time today and took my kids out too after visiting a local pro shop and getting some used discs. It was awesome, and this channel was a big inspiration. Thank you for all the great content!
I love your attitude man! Even when you miss a shot or hit a tree you stay positive and joke around. I love it. #subscribed
Congratulations! Great tournament and excellent video!
Awesome! You were just letting that big ol' brain get in the way, round 1. Have fun and don't over think it.
That was some fancy throwing after you got drunk.
Congratulations!
This is becoming my favorite disc golf channel on RUclips.
Thank you, sir! :) /Jonathan
Loving this 🤣 laughed, smiled when you got the long putts in and laughed some more.. 🤟
Great Jonathan! The putt om 12 gave me goosebumps.
It was hard to see you shaky and not your usual chipper self. I'm so glad you crushed it!
High drama video. Nice work and fun to watch. Glad to have found this channel
This format is fantastic, still one of the coolest ideas on RUclips. Love the progress.
Well played man, nerves on the first happens to us all, that second round was awseome
Great par! More of this!
This is fun format to watch. Play more these competitions.

Kul att du gillade den :). Ha en fin dag! /Jonathan
Very entertaining. I like entertainment. And I like disc golf. Excellent combination.
That left sleeve is sick. That had to take a long time to get that all symmetrical.
First tee off for the second round was jättebra Jonathan! Fun video killar, as always!
Great video. Looking forward to the next tournament.
Format is awesome! All your videos are great and have taught me a lot. You are awesome on camera. You and Johannes make GREAT videos. Thanks for all your hard work to educate us(and make us laugh).
