I love this series because it gives me so much confidence as a beginner level player myself. So much disc golf content is featuring great pros and amateurs, but there's not enough showing where we all started! Thank you all for making this series happen!
Glad to see Tomas again! Have to say, this series has been WONDERFUL to watch, although, since you have made a bag, I think you should have thrown those instead. I understand why you used the same discs as last year, but using the new ones shows more maturity in your game and all the work that you put in. Maybe play this course again with your actual bag?
As someone who just started disc golf three months ago, I am glad that I found Jonathan and this channel! It has showed me the best of the community in the comments, and being able to watch Jonathan's progression has encouraged me to keep practicing and to better myself. I always look for Lat64 discs when given the option to rent and have purchased several from your website! Keep up the great work! :)
I would watch a buddy cop movie with Jonathan and Tomas. Jonathan the happy go lucky rookie cop who might be a little naïve, Tomas the veteran trying to train the eager rookie while making the job look easy.
Jonathan your videos and your attitude are an inspiration for future disc golfers. The Latitude family should be very grateful to have you be a part of it. I almost prefer to watch your videos over round coverage. Cheers :)
I have been throwing frisbee for 40+ years and have only recently ventured into the disc golf arena. My wife and I play local courses together. I love and appreciate all the tips and techniques as well a all the good natured people and humor you have in your episodes. Well done!
Jonathan, I hope you are around to stroke the board for years to come. I love these videos so much. I recommend them to any new player I meet. You guys are the best. It was also very nice to have Tomas back 😊
You should be proud! It's easy to get caught up in where we need to improve without appreciating how far we've come. Also, the local river ate my Fuse yesterday. Time to get a new one
That "Stroke The Board" tee-shirt is a MUST!!! I'd say your improvement is very good and my suggestion to get better the next year is to practice being smooth and in control. Like Tomas said in the how to get more distance video: "I think you should work on throwing straight". Maybe that can be the sub-title on the STROKE THE BOARD tee! 😁
"....and then there's a tree.....but then, there's not a tree" LOL Love these videos! It's been a blast following along the last year. Great improvement, Jonathan! Thanks for always making us laugh during disc golf videos!
After watching the conclusion to this video, I started bawling like a small child, then I ran around to all of my neighbors and gave them hugs while continuing to cry. Then I came home and, after utilizing the lavatory facilities, I drew a picture of a flower.
Jonathan .. keep doing what you are doing. You know that feeling when you "get it just right", well you should have that feeling about your videos and content, you have gotten it, just right! Love it!!
I love the content, Jonathan. I often find self-deprecating humor to be some of the funniest and most relatable. Here's to many more warm hearths! ;-) ("heart warming")
You the MAN Jonathan. You the MAN. Keep improving on the game while having fun but never stop making videos with your heart. This right here, is some of the greatest content on the platform.
Thank you, Anton! I checked out your channel. Great stuff, man! So many songs I´ve been listening to over the years. Would be fun to see a "Alpha wolf" cover at some point. Have a nice day! /Jonathan
I am newer than a newbie from a country that does not even have discs available. Struggling to get our gear and stuff, watching these videos really lifts me up! Thanks!
My wife and I started playing right around the time you did (we did it as a chance to get outside due to COVID). I'm like you ... steady improvement although my distance putting is not where yours is. My wife doesn't bother keeping score; she just throws and walks. It's great to keep improving and your humor and humility have kept my success and failures in perspective. THANK YOU for that!
When I started this January, I was a little worse than a bogey golfer, in the +20 to +23 range, and now I’m approaching my first even round! I’ve been watching your videos and others along the way and they’ve helped a lot and kept things light which is great for me!
It's fund to see your progression and improvement. I like this format and that you took the time to have a 1-year measuring stick. I'm almost a month into my "career" and you give me hope that all is not lost. Thanks for the content.
Don't be too hard on yourself, Jonathan get to throw multiple discs of the same make, that certainly helps to hone them skills in a shorter amount of time because of said volume, not many noobs find themselves in that situation. I've played on and off again for a number of decades and I still don't trust my driving, it's a good thing that midrange and putting game is at least half decent.
Go out to tags and make some friends who are better than you, I got a lesson from the guy who shoots 12 under in the wind at our easier course and felt 8 months of improvement in an afternoon
@@Bunnybakery I really appreciate the disc golf community. 99.9% are kind, caring people whom have no problem helping others if needed. Such a refreshing change of pace in this day and age. Love to all. Be safe out there "kids".
I just hit my one year mark in playing and learning the great sport of disc golf. I really enjoyed watching this video and all your videos because it reminds me of how far I've come in just one year! Keep up the great content!
I've said it before and I'll say it again, this is my favorite disc golf channel aside from Jomez. It's the only disc golf channel where I watch every single video.
To whom it may concern, Holy s***, I can't believe it's been a whole year already! This video series has become the favorite for my wife and I to watch together; we've both learned so much, and even more so, we've really enjoyed watching Jonathan's journey both with Latitude 64 and the sport of disc golf. We also love seeing thegenuine and authentic, and it is a treat to be able to witness them. We can't wait to see how these journeys continue and how our own respective journeys will parallel each other's as well. Only liked for the plane. Just kidding you guys are my favorite disc golf youtubers.Congrats on your improvement and thank you for getting us the great advice of Tomas and Johan. Looking forward to more content!
Love your editing Johnathan, always makes me laugh. It's crazy I've been watching this video series for a year now lol. You've definitely got alot better, but lots of room for improvement too. Disc golf is awesome like that.
Jonathan, love the improvements after 365 days going back to the old disc, when your used to your new disc and throws… keep up that great footage and don’t lose your amazing sense of humor!!! Thank you :)
Both of you are hilarious, and I really enjoy these videos. They've been incredible in getting my wife to see the progression through learning disc golf as a bit less intimidating

I look forward to each of your videos because you seem to enjoy yourself while having a good time and they make me smile and laugh. Great job Jonathan, awesome progress and please keep putting out the videos.

Tack som fan för inspirationen och humorn! Började med discgolf på riktigt i april och har gjort under par de senaste 4-5 rundorna. Johnathan, you are 100% the guy for this job! Latitude 64 are lucky to have you. As always, love the content, your sense of humor. You and Tomas played so well off each other in this one. And your round was pretty good too 😁 Keep up the great work! Looking forward to the next one.
Jonathan, Love your clips and great sense of humor. Although I play alot I never watched many videos or instructions. You've got me hooked. Thanks from Tucson, Az.USA.
I think I speak for many people when I say this was a tough year. However, I found a lot of joy in discovering disc golf back last October. Then I found these videos and have thoroughly enjoyed every single one. Keep up the great work guys!

Love seeing Tomas again! That sarcasm gives me life.
I had a coffee-through-nose accident at 7:28. Top tier humor...nostril burning, even. Thanks Lat64.

Same need to stop having anything hot while these videos play
Your dry humour (Canadian spelling) makes your videos special. It matches those of your country's contemporary writers. That IS a compliment.
