As a beginner that tries to learn from youtube and clubmates as well I can say that hiring Jonathan was a great move by latitude, seeing a fellow noob getting to grips with this great game in a very entertaining way is awesome advertisement, i own Several latitude discs now.
This has to be one of the best series about disc golf currently. There are hundreds of 'how to throw' videos. But to experience this with beginner is more instructive. I am mediocre player and have seen too many videos mentioned before, they have sometimes even caused damage to my throw for good while.
All these beginner friendly videos have been an amazing thing to follow for a beginner. I've already played for like 5 years, but this is my second summer where I've actually started practicing and looking at how am I supposed to throw. Just came back from hard ass track where I used to hit around +30, but just got that down to +9 and couldn't be happier. Thank you for doing this and I'm damn sure all the beginners who find these videos will be more than happy with what you do.
This channel is quickly becoming a go to. I enjoy is because I just started and watching you play with guys that are pros is wholesome and I can see how I would match up lol. Great stuff latitude 64
Nice work Jonathan! I can hear that snap when you throw the disc. It takes some people (including me) years to get the disc to rip out like that!👍🤣😂 Always love these videos. Thanks.
I bought the Saphire and I really like it. I haven't played too much and starting to get the technique in to get some distance with the saphire. Its a good disc.
That was fun. I'm impressed that Jonathon can often throw in the right direction! He does seem to struggle a bit with the nose angle. I find that i often get the nose angle right, and fail to control my direction! If only we could join forces!
I really enjoy all the videos you guys are making, all of you! Keep up the good work! I have some nice Latitude 64 discs on the way, and I can't wait to try them out! Cheers, guys!
when Johannes popped out behind the bush at the11min mark and Johnathan said hello that shit had me laughing hard 😂 haha. These guys are great for a laugh while learning tips
The Pearl! Magnificent and Strange! I've brought one the past week! It goes right-right-right 😁 but, I think it should be interesting throwing (well, not like me an impenitent early beginner, and moreover quite old. 🙂) it on an Hyzer creating a good s flight shape. And if thrown with a strong Hyzer it seems to me it maintain its curve.
Would be kinda fun To see Jonathan go for a discgolf-roadtrip around sweden, norway and finland. To see the difference in coursedesingn and have a beginner opinion about differend courses
@@HWOMJAW I trust my forehand, just not with light weight discs. Also you want an overstable disc to have it veer right on a forehand as it's the opposite of the backhand.

Just buy Fuse or maybe Pearl and you've got nice forehand with backhand throw. I have no forehand and use Fuse to compensate the turn when hole is between 70-100 meters. Better to learn forehand, but it breaks my body currently.

This made me really happy, Timo. Glad you like them! /Jonathan
Agreed. This series actually has entertainment value (and quite a bit of it), not just instruction. And that, to me, makes these videos great.
Love these videos. These are the reason I started playing a few weeks ago. Please keep them up.
Glad you like them, Tom. How´s the playing coming along for you? /Jonathan

Jonathan: "we all know what's gonna happen here."

Jonathan is literally all of us. Especially the boast-into-wild-airball moment at 3:30
I’m seriously loving everything with Jonathan. Y’all make me want to move to Scandinavia.
I would like to see you both use the easy to use discs. That would be interesting to compare and contrast.
This is a good idea :)
Haha, Johannes needs to have the Pearl as a signature disc!
Yes! 😂

Special Edition: Johannes 170 gr opto-x glimmer Pearl! Instant classic!
This video series is hilarious and insightful all at the same time. Seeing a beginner play is great for my newbie friends. Keep up the great work!
30 seconds in and I’m already laughing 😂 “...a full bag, a bag of discs” 😂😂
Maybe Johannes could also caddie Jonathan and "choose" lines for Jonathan. Great series, happy play.
YAHOO more of Jonathan playing!!!!! Love it guys!!!
I bought my first Latitude 64 disc because of your videos 😄
These are easily the best disc golf videos on YT.
Thanks for doing these, and I love the Tomas cameos.

I'm super impressed by how well Jonathan's little flick forehand approach turned out, since we haven't seen him practice forehands whatsoever :D

Throw that Sapphire!!! Light is right. The disc is a Sa🔥🔥🔥! Thrown with your natural hyzer release, watch if flip to flat and glide for days.

The first 4 years I've played I've only used a mid range driver. Lots of birdies/par, couple near Aces.
I think that´s a really good approach :) /Jonathan
I'd love to try it but doesn't seem to be many active places to do it in Australia

Very spiffy video edit, and great on screen talent lol! Thanks for cheering me up today ☺️

I am constantly surprised that you play in a swamp so far north.
I thought we here in Florida were the only ones who regularly played in a swamp.
I hope little Tomas was able to get the autographs to take home. Really would make my day to see him run off with happiness in his eyes

You should do course-reviews from a beginners perspective :) Get down to Wasteland :D Awesomest course in Västerbotten.
Maybe you could share some fuses, I can't find one anywhere and you have a whole stack.

Ahhh the classic ant "source." Beware fellow golfers. Watch those feets.
The thing with beginners' discs is that they make any experienced player look like a beginner.
This may be a dumb question, but why not forehand with the panda when you need to veer right?
I personally nearly always throw backhand because I don't trust my forehand :D
