    My symptoms:
    1. Shifting chest pain
    2. Heart palpitations (I can hear my heart beat in my neck and sometimes in the centre my chest)
    3. Chest pain with heart palpitations (the moment I have chest pain, within 2-5 secs palpitations start)
    4. Tingling sensations and pricking sensation in my wrist , back And feet
    5. Chest pain radiating to the hands
    6. Heartburn
    7. Acid reflux (rare symptoms)
    8. Muscle tension
    9. Panic attacks and breathless (usually after having fights with my family members)
    10. Chest tightness
    11. Hypertension
    12. Cramps in the lower and upper abdomen
    13. Ear getting blocked
    I did 3 ECGs, echocardiogram, endoscopy, sugar test, blood test, thyroid test, utrasound, c.t scan. All reports are normal... Now finally after 1 month of fear and struggling I have started to accept that I'm physically fine, and it's just anxiety

    the power of suggestion is so strong, that the body will literally make symptoms you think about come true, even subconsciously when you dont think of them. anxiety symptoms will appear when you dont want them to because you consciously think about them so much, to the point it becomes habbit, so the subconscious takes over those habbits. retrain your subconscious by training your conscious.. easier said than done but it can be... i wish you all well for those strugging with this

    Cherelle, thank you for this video. I identify with it so much. I’ve had a Holter monitor on for the past five days and need to wear it for another nine days. I had no palpitations or PVCs until I went to the cardiologist office to get the Holter monitor on and then all of a sudden two or three times every hour in The afternoon I have skipped beats Palpitations. It’s so frustrating because I had none of this for the month leading up to getting the Holter monitor. Keep up the good work. Sending positive positive thoughts, your way.

    Cardiacphobia is the worst anxiety symptom because everything you do can eventually be based on it day in day out. I can fully understand how you feel as I went through it myself and still do. I had a Holter for 48 hours and there was less than 1% PAC/PVC even though I could feel what I thought were ectopics all the time. The last test I had was an Echo/Stress which gave me a great result last summer. When you focus on it, you make it worse and it gets out of control. I’m exactly like you! It’s kind of funny when you hear someone else explaining it! Thanks for being brave.

    I am currently affected by this. I was diagnosed with congenital heart block of the third degree and have had a pacemaker since October 2018, I’m now 23. I had a really bad episode back in august where my heart rate shot up to 212, I went into SVT. I live in complete terror of having a heart attack, but whenever I’ve been checked out my heart is absolutely fine. I’ve never heard a story of someone who lives with a condition like mine and overcomes anxiety, because in our case there is actually something wrong :/

    • @LovelyAnnette
      @LovelyAnnette 2 года назад +2

      I have SVT… the episodes are scary but I always try to remind myself that they aren’t dangerous. And I try the techniques Doctor’s and google have told me. I’ve tried them twice and they regulate my heart rate during an episode

    • @pixiwix
      @pixiwix 6 месяцев назад +1

      I also get SVT. Initially doctors were worried until they realized my panic and anxiety really were that far off the charts and that was the cause... Then they ceased to be concerned. They did however seem to pity me and how miserable I clearly was, which I hated. When I got better control of my anxiety, the SVT episodes substantially decreased in frequency. I had a run of them in the middle of the night last night which set me on edge all day, but I just breathe through them and get up and walk around.

    You know, in certain instances you have to take anti-depressants and anti-anxiety medicine, to prevent the chronic strain on your heart from all that anxiety. To get out of that cycle! Also, remember that the numbness and tingling of particular parts of the body often happen because, through our obsessive focus on them, we tighten up those area of our body in(to) our sleep.
