Doffy understands the corruption of his world better than anyone. Every "wrong" he committed would have been justified in the eyes of the law had he stayed a Celestial Dragon. Because he was no longer a Dragon everything he did was considered a crime by the World Government; however, as a "Warlord of the Sea" those crimes were excused because they benefited that very government. He sold slaves to nobility and counterfeit Devil Fruits to Yonko under their eyes and protection. The World Government did nothing when he overthrew the royalty of Dressrosa and continued to do business with him as its new king. They still arrested him in the end though, when he was no longer "useful" to them.

What Doflamingo did to Viola is true. A fan asked Oda about Viola and Doflamingo's relationship which Oda confirmed in the SBS Chapter 833 but couldn't out right say it because kids read One Piece. Oda said this: "Well there's some very deep backstory here, but I cannot tell you about it. I've told my editor, but it's a very grown-up story, and therefore I'm not showing it in One Piece, my manga for boys. You grown-ups reading this can use your imagination. Dressrosa is the land of passion!!"
Something he forgot to bring up is HOW Doflamingo became a Warlord. Unlike the other Warlords who either the Marines saw as being beneficial to have working for them rather than against them, or who sought out the title purposefully, Doflamingo was already too far gone and the Marines did not want to make him a Warlord. So Doflamingo stole the tribute money for the Celestial Dragons and held it for ransom in exchange for a Warlord title.

An image came to mind, a very fitting but typecast one, too familiar to be comfortable, Antony Star as a live-action Doffy.
16:46 Kaggyfilms lets go! I miss his old RUclips channel and even though I don't care for his vtuber stuff I'm glad he's happy doing the stuff he likes ❤
Doffy is the definition of " I suffered more than anyone so I'm entitled to do whatever I want". Which is true, the man sees Luffy and Law as nothing but children throwing temper tantrums.
Just because he had it a little rough doesn’t give him the right to be a POS, his brother also suffered but he manages to be the better man and better person,
Dofi is a child a entitled one at that
@@LoopyDreamz775 oh I agree. But him being a former World Noble, people who have the same mindset as him, it makes sense how he would think like that.
Like you said his brother ended up differently and became a good person( most likely because of their parents with how kind they are), while Doffy didn't( maybe he spent more time with other C.Ds and not his parents) which really shows them being too sides of the same coin going to different paths in life.
Nux: Maybe his IS the hero.
Video, IMMEDIATELY afterwards: Man, this is some bullshit! Boo this man!
Lets go. This guys a drip MONSTER.
I was so fast to the original CJ vid (In fear of Toei shutting it down) I watched it less than 1min after posting 😂
Cj finally dropped it
HELL YESSSS
I wasn't expecting THIS
Doffys dad being the story of Don Quixote is so awesome and something I only realized long after the arc concluded.
When I watched Dressrosa I mainly only knew what most people know about Don Quixote (Being a delusional wannabe knight who fights against windmills)
But Don Quixote being a noble who has a romantic vision of what it means to be a knight and by the end of the story, getting beaten into a bloody pulp by an actual Knight and then disavowing all his delusions, is such a perfect mirror to the story of Doffys Dad.
I can't believe Nux post-watched this viseo.
Saying you're a Doffy stan is diabolical
I love how petty nux gets towards defending doffy to the point he even grammar checks CJ
Nuxanor=Glazanor
Dolflomingo is definitely one piece joker.
He just wants to burn the world down for no reason other than he truly hates everything and everyone
I look at "Donquixote" and my mind goes "Don Mosquito?"
nux with his sarcastic defense of doffy killed me no matter how bad this man may be nux will defend him
Not Nux trying to win me over like Phoenix in an Ace Attorney game lol
Yooo around 40:00 this is clearly a man fending intruders off his property... Based man
Yoooooo future me, I posted that before you brought up trespassing, omg I feel like padding myself for that
3:40 I can't think of a more accurate description for the Celestial Dragons. They're not even evil persay, the Gorosei and Imu are evil, the CD are just dickheads with too much power.
Don't worry Nux. When I played Castlevania: SotN when I was younger you can find a book titled Don Quixote. And I pronounced it the same way you did
Oh this is gonna be good
The fact doffy got a 45 minute long video (double to triple every other video cj made)
Doffys a business man he has to do what he has to do
The moment that had me freaked out was when disco called doflamingo from the auction house and doffy was like psssh slavery is lame the future is smiles.
Finally someone who puts respect on doffys name
56:30 To be fair, so did JFK. Frankly, good for him.
56:11, how did I know Nux was going to say America needs a Doffy
@nuxanor there's a cool murder drones fan version that you should react to its called "Intermission"
