@@EastMeetsKitchen Do you have recipes on how to mix rice with lentils or with cauliflower? I love this idea and would love to integrate into my college lunches :)
Wow. This is perfect since I just got to Japan. Can't wait to give bento boxes a try. It also gives me an excuse to visit Daiso but it's been so long since I last went to one I might go crazy there. Btw, I love the background music for this video. It's both modern and retro at the same time.
Don't be too jealous, we're just in Iwakuni. While it may be a city and a 100% upgrade compared to Jacksonville, NC it's considered the countryside next to Tokyo and London. There isn't much in the way of vegan or even vegetarian restaurants so it's either home cooking or onigiri from 7Eleven. It's also hard to find non-Japanese Asian products and what they do carry is just enough to make one serving. Luckily I'm taking a trip to Tokyo soon and I will come back with a suitcase full of Korean, That, Chinese, Middle Eastern, and Indian ingredients that will hopefully last me for the next two years.
I absolutely love this so much! Vegan recipes can be so difficult, convoluted, and have inaccessible ingredients but this is so simple and healthy! Thank you, i love your creativity this will definitely come in handy for my college meals! :')
LOVE that you mixed in lentils with the rice... so many vegans don't seem to care about protein and fiber, thank you for this video! definitely want to try
I gotta say i love you hair in this video, its goes nice with your headband and outfit. The music is nice too That food is something i would love to eat, it looks delicious
I seriously don't know why you don't have more subscribers!! From your personality, to your editing, to the great recipes you're always hitting us with...you should be up there with Cheap Lazy Vegan, Mary's Test KItchen & The Viet Vegan - some of the other very few Asian vegan youtubers. I don't know, it's just so wonderful to see other vegan Asians on here especially when meat is basically in everything, making it incredibly difficult to still cook dishes we used to enjoy and stay true to our roots. I get so happy when you post a recipe for something I used to eat as a kid because there's no way I would have ever been able to recreate the dish myself (I'm just not creative enough haha) and that's why you're one of my favourite channels
I like it! So jealous you can actually find a vegan rice seasoning where you are - Cool! Thank you so much for all the effort here :) But I just can't stop wondering what the patty is - you showed how to make everything except that. Happy Weekend :)
You have a pleasant, soft, sweet voice but the music comes on so loud that it rattles my nerves & I have to continuously turn the sound up & down. I love your recipes & I can't wait to try your crunchy sticky rice patties. Thank you. ❤️❤️❤️
