I mean we actually know that Daemon went down to Dorne for a tourney and he got second place after being unhorsed by Baelor. Once again, I must applaud this Channel as a great source of Lore outside the actual books themselves. As for ths Blackfyre Rebellions: its a shame Daemon didn't chose to be loyal to his brother and lead a loyal cadet branch family for House Targaryen and the Targaryen Dynasty as a whole Instead of becoming somewhat like House Baratheon in that aspect, the Blackfyre' family, not once across multiple generations of war, had a member chose to bend the knee to their kin. So much blood of the dragon, spilled needlessly, not to mention Bittersteel unwilling to chose the betterment of the Dynasty over his own petty feud, and Bloodraven unwilling to show mercy to a few of the Blackfyre's who should've received it. Another Dance of the Dragons... but without the actual Dragons, of course.
It’s weird hearing a king of the seven kingdoms couldn’t do a thing. Especially when it’s something stupid like rescinding his father’s stupid proclamations. I’m sure other kings would’ve said fuck it just do it but Daeron followed the law and was no tyrant
I feel like Daron ll did so much good because he felt guilt for what the king he was named after did and what his own father did. Daron ll spent his whole reign trying to undo what they did.
Neither of the TV shows set in this universe have depicted time periods of there being a good ruler on the Iron Throne. It makes for more interesting times, I suppose, but I would love a series chronicling the life of Daeron II as he has to deal with his shitty father, more popular bastard brother, and a distinct lack of dragons to help get the job done as he works to keep the realm united
I wonder if Prince Baelor actually had his own armor on during the trail of 7 instead of his son’s would that blow from his brother’s mace still have killed him?
I think it's around this guy's reign where it's really questionable why the Targaryens don't have Dornish hair and eyes. Half of his sons did have those traits and his next two successors each wed outside the family.

Then there’s the legitimization. The truth is either way it went one side would’ve said. I agree, and it was Aegon IV who wanted Daemon to marry Rohanne...it wasn't even Daeron's fault
