#0 - Uncle Bernie’s
Still haven't been there.
Hahgahahahahhahaha
I Lived In Florida For 19 Years And Ive Never Been To Uncle Bernie's :(
Great to see Efteling up there! I've been there so many times, yet it never ceases to amaze me. Everywhere you go you just see the love and care they put into everything. It's theming is amazing, personally my favourite out of all the ones ive been to. So many small details throughout the decor, there is something to see everywhere you look. In contrast to most parks they also don't use any bright colors for it's tracks, so they all blend in really well with the forest environment it's located in. I'm so excited to see what they will come up with next!
I agree the colorful, happy themes and theming make the park.
I am proud as a dutchmen living near the German border to see my homepark in your top 5, although Phantasialand is probably the smallest park in this list, I am to this day still shocked by what it packs into this size... I agree with your list, although you forgot to mention valkyria at liseberg😲😂
I didn't mention Valkyria since it wasn't open when I was at Liseberg.
@@CanobieCoaster aii i thought so
I hope that in the future Phantasialand will replace temple of the night Hawk and the old Hollywood tour with a good immersive darkride, since they really miss that.
I would give my left arm, to be able to visit Phantasialand! 💜 It looks completely Amazing! I live in Southern California in the United States, so I am very far away from, that magical place! I would give anything to be able to visit there! 💜 It is rare for me to go to an amusement park and love every ride being offered...but wow, the rides at your "home" park look incredible!! 💜 💜 💜 😊 💜 💜 💜
I have been to a lot of parks, so I can tangibly appreciate what it means that you’ve been to almost exactly twice as many. Just amazing. And that makes a list like this all the more interesting to me.
You're welcome.
Very nice!! Love how frequently you're pumping these epic videos out, brother. You're the man
Thanks!
Very well made! Love the insight!
Glad you enjoyed it!
So glad BGW made this list. One of my favorites for over 2 decades
I love the place.
I watched your live stream, for 11k this morning. I live in the uk so the time difference means it’s tough to join anything actually live. You have the best impartial theme park channel. Great sound and editing quality. Such a professional blogger. Keep it up.
Thanks! Sorry about the time, but I need to do it after work.
Im from the U.S and I am in total love with phantasialand it has everything it is so well themed and I've heard that the operations and rides are good my #1 bucket list park
Such an amazing park.
The fact that Alton Towers is number 15 on this list when its only an hours drive from me makes me proud 😊
Nice!
Same thing for me here but with Efteling. I go there on at least a yearly basis. You feel as if you're in an entirely different world, with the extensive theming, storytelling and music.
I’m not a massive adrenaline junkie, but I think I could handle Alton Towers. Beside that I think the theming on some rides looks really good. A bucket list park for me.
I'm proud of my home park Efteling. It has just amazing theming and storytelling. And great theme park music. It's not that coaster heavy, but the park isn't really meant to be. I'm curious to see what the expansions will bring.
I love the park.
I can’t believe my home park was able to clench a top 20 spot and even beat out Port Aventura and Carowinds. Thanks for giving BGT some love! I think Iron Gwazi might be enough for me to put the park back up above IoA on my list when I ride it.
Iron Gwazi will only help.
Excellent list! Thoroughly enjoyed it. I agree with your top 1. Disneyland is the best park I have ever been to.
Absolutely!
Thanks so much for this Awesome list! 😁 💜 I love that my "home" park of Disneyland is #1 !! 💜 I also love that many of my "bucket list" parks are on this list! I have been a subscriber for awhile, but I don't know if I have ever commented before. You do such a great job on your channel, that I just usually "like" 👍 your videos! 💜 I had to say something on this one, because a bunch of my favorite things, places, coasters, are on this list! ☺ 💜 Keep up the great work!
Thanks! Disneyland really is special.
I'm delighted to see Towers make your list, but I was very surprised to see it above Tokyo Disneysea which is my no.1 bucket list park!
Tokyo DisneySea is beautiful, but I just wish they had a few more rides.
Seeing King's Island on this list makes me even more excited for my trip this year!
Have fun!
Canobie Coaster always coming out with Bangers!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I live in LA and have not been to Disneyland in 10 years or so....thanks for reminding me to plan a trip soon!
Enjoy!
A lot of people currently seem to be putting Islands over Cedar Point! After visiting both parks this year, I think I prefer Cedar Point… not by a large margin! I think they are both prime examples of the best theme/amusement parks in America
Islands blends theming and thrills so well.
I love the reviews but don't know how u do it.. Great job
Thanks!
I'm so glad that Knoebels made into the top 10 of your list. It's criminally underrated for its selection of classic rides, awesome food, and great theming. It's my childhood park, even though I live over an hour away in Reading, PA, and I'll say it's worth the long drive up every single time. I used to camp there with my family during Labor Day weekend every year, riding coasters all day, then sitting around a campfire roasting marshmallows each night. I will never forget the sounds of the Twister at night, it's second lift hill motor howling away, paired with the rider's screams of joy and terror into the campgrounds. It's a one-of-a-kind park for sure, and I'm so grateful that it was my first.
I usually hear nothing but praise for Knoebels.
I grow up in place, where there is world's class coasters near me. I have 20km to legendia, which have lech coaster and 100km to energylandia which have some of the best coasters in the world, so now i have high expectations about coasters that i will visit in future. Thanks for that list, i will most likely visit most of these parks that you mentioned in this video. :D
Nice!
Could Not Agree More 😍 Disneyland Is The Best Of The BEST
I love it.
very cool list, you have certainly been AROUND! this list will help me once I get to venturing outside of my 2 favorite home parks, your #19 BGT and #6 IOA! gotta revist them though since it's almost been a decade since I've been somehow!! 🤯😋👏👏👏😎👌💥✌
Thanks!
@@CanobieCoaster you got it dude 😎👍
omg cool
They are!
So happy that wb world abu dhabi made the list. I really wanna go to that park and im so happy that is expanding
It's a fantastic park if you love theming.
OMG THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!! OMG...
...Hersheypark's in your TOP 10! If there's one thing I want to change in this Top 25, it's to put Knoebels above Cedar Point. I'd LOVE to see an old school amusement park beat the roller coaster capital of the world.
Knoebels is more unique, but the ride lineup of Cedar Point is too deep.
Surprised to see Disneyland so high. Maybe going there almost every year since 2008 has made it less magical for me but my top 5.
1. Islands: Stellar storytelling and attraction hardware
2. Cedar Point: Best park in terms of quantity for airtime
3. Silver Dollar City: Best themed experience and night rides
4. Kings Island: Incredible night rides
5. Magic Mountain: Best park in terms of quantity for positive G's but brutal for crowds and heat
I always visit Magic in the offseason to avoid the heat.
@@CanobieCoaster Definitely! Going between January and the first week of March on a weekday is the best time.
Interesting how so many find Islands so attractive. I don't even consider it in my top 20 but that's maybe because I don't get stoked for dark rides like others and find the food there terrible amongst other things but that's just me.
@@zacharystewart5344 Idk about you, but think I naturally have a biased against the home parks I've been to more often. So traveling across the US to Islands is much more special than going to a place like Magic Mountain or Disneyland.
@@D00rHandleMedia Ya. I wouldn't know. I've never had a home park for more than 2 years at a time.
You have definitely been to more parks and coasters than me, but I have been riding coasters since the 1980s. I haven't left the country (except for Canada), so I could only speak for USA parks. But of your USA parks, I would have had several of them ranked differently and several others added. But I respect your opinions and I don't have the experience with parks in other countries. Interesting and good list!
Thanks! I definitely prioritize theming more than some enthusiasts.
Gutted for you to hear that Journey to the center of the earth was closed when you visited TDS. That ride is breathtaking and really immersive. I loved it, I'm pretty sure TDS would have ended higher on your list.
I'm sure I'll be back someday.
I’ve been to 10 of these (US only since I’ve yet to do an international trip) parks (I guess 11 if you count Magic Kingdom; but I was way too young to do anything back then), and Kings Island has been my home park for as long as I remember. Can’t wait to make it to SFMM this year. Planning to make X2 my 300th credit!
Enjoy Magic Mountain!
@@CanobieCoaster Thanks! My plan is SFMM and Knotts. Just not sure if I should go now before Wonder Woman brings more of a crowd or not, since I’ll have to make a return trip for Montezooma and the giga at Knotts eventually anyways…
I agreed mostly with your list but surprised you didn’t put SeaWorld Orlando in there, I think it has some great thrill rides and excellent theming 🙃
Good park, but the ones ahead of it have more rides.
I was going to say the same thing. There is a lot to be said for themeing and how these parks make you feel but I'd personally not have a Disney park in my top 10. They don't have the thrill rides and they are far too busy. Sea world Orlando has Mako, Kraken, Malta and Pipeline which are all world class rides along with ice breaker, all the shows 2 great water rides etc. I live 30 mins from Atlron Towers 😅
@grovsey3656 Malta Lol But Besides That I Completely Agree Seaworld Orlando Is My 9th Favorite Park
I loved your list-But I would of put Blackpool Pleasure Beach in there as well!
When will you do a list of Water Parks/Leisure Centres around the world??
When do you think you will next come to the UK, You should def visit Jorvik Viking Centre in York and has one of my fav Dark Rides ever!
I have seen other people mention that to you before as well. 😁
Blackpool is a very good park and I'm sure it'll move up once I get back to ride Icon. The water park list should come out tomorrow.
@@CanobieCoaster Yea it is one of my favs!
Ah nice one-Water Park list is that one for around the world or just the US?
And when you next come to the UK-will you visit Jorvik Viking Centre in York??
I’m pleased to see fiesta Texas at top 10 I’ve been going there since I was a kid and I think it’s one of the best parks in Texas. Jeffery siebert has done a great job taking care of this park and I can see his passion.
It's so well run.
I'm headed to #10 (Fiesta Texas) in a month and I got myself a pass to #3 (SDC) yesterday so I'm hoping I can make it there 2 or 3 times this year. Someday I'll make it to Phantasialand, Europa-Park, and Efteling, and if I'm lucky I'll have the time and money to make it to Tokyo for those epic Disney parks.
Great list!
Thanks!
My favourite Park got to be Tripsdrill, its just so beautiful with all the Flora and Fauna
That park is beautiful.
I got to a point where I haven't even been keeping a list of favorite parks. Since I base my rankings on the experience it gives me at the time I visited, it can change so dramatically. Those empty park school days can really help with some parks. This list will change in some way about 2 seconds after I hit enter.
12. Six Flags New England (I had to expand it, just to include one of your home parks)
11. Kentucky Kingdom
10. Six Flags Great Adventure
9. Busch Gardens Tampa
8. Cedar Point
7. Kings Dominion
6. Six Flags Magic Mountain
5. Silver Dollar City
4. Six Flags Fiesta Texas
3. Islands of Adventure
2. Hersheypark
1. Dollywood
I agree specific visits can influence this list more than specific rides on a coaster can.
This is the hardest list to put together for me
Same since parks do different things well.
Nice to see my home park on here. Wicker man is a great addition to a already good line up :) my only wish with alto towers is more flat rides
I hope to get back for Wicker Man in the next few years.
@@CanobieCoaster won't blow u away but it's a good nippy little coaster . It's the storyline, themeing and atmosphere that does it for me especially at scarefest 💥🔥
I have to say your list is very surprising. I would have thought that coaster count or coaster quality would have mattered more in what you'd choose as your favorites.
I prioritize theming a lot.
@@CanobieCoaster
That's why I love my home park so much. I too prioritise theming. It just makes you feel secluded from the outside world.
I just love my home park Tripsdrill
Great park!
I’m surprised you ranked Tokyo Disneyland higher than Disneysea. Great video
I love the castle parks.
Nice list! You did forgot to meantion valkyria and liseberg it's haunted house walkthrough attraction
I do believe cedar point and SFMM are a bit to high😜
I didn't ride Valkyria since I visited in 2017. I thought I mentioned Hotel Gasten.
I would ♥️ to go to Phantasia Land , it looks like alot of fun. 😎👍
It is.
I have very similar tastes to you. Disneyland is my overall favorite park as well due to its excellent theming, unparalleled dark ride collection, top notch atmosphere and depth of the ride collection.
Were you ever able to visit EPCOT in its earlier days as EPCOT Center, say, prior to Test Track? If there is one park I've visited that I could say rivals Disneyland it would be early EPCOT. Today the park is still great but it's a shell of its former self and I think Disney really resents its existence. Disney today just sees its parks as a way to push its own IPs instead of creating new attractions. I think the original EPCOT Center was incredible. I would actually rank it above parks like Islands of Adventure, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Cedar Point, Silver Dollar City and I'm on the fence about even Disneyland itself. I really miss early EPCOT and there is a reason why it has such a sad devoted online fanbase. It wasn't the park for people expecting thrill rides. But it felt like it was on another level.
My first visit to Epcot was in 1998, but I was 5 years old. The visits I remember were all after Test Track.
What made early Epcot so good?
The Phantasialand is the best Park of all time because you have never seen so beautyful detail.
It's amazing.
Busch Gardens Williamsburg is my current personal favorite for its great atmosphere, theming, and quality coaster lineup.
It's wonderful.
@@CanobieCoaster It is
Awesome ranking per usual, but I was just wondering if you've overlooked disneyland paris? It's definitely one of the best parks in europe and imho slightly superior to the magic kingdom. What's your take?
It moved up after my recent visit. That park is beautiful, but I wish they had one more big E ticket dark ride like Rise, Splash Mountain, or Runaway Railway.
Last Christmas I went to Disney and Universal in Orlando and I love them both. Universal has shorter waits during Christmas, better thrill rides, and better water rides. Disney has more parks, better food and atmosphere, and amazing dark rides. This is all my opinion
Universal is better for thrills, but both do a great job in a lot of areas.
Not sure if this has been done, but ... how about a Top 10 Amusement and Theme Parks that don't charge for admission (just parking, rides, food, and such)?
It's the main reason why I've been frequenting Knoebels so much over the past year; it's really economical for a family of four when only two do a lot of rides. It's also the reason why I make so many trips to the beach (Casino Pier and Morey's Piers, in particular).
That is an interesting idea, maybe.
Very rare credit: vekoma illusion coaster, there were two built in the 90’s but the one in Nashville is no longer operating. Belgium has the other one, Revolution. I’ve ridden the one in Nashville, but I intend on getting nostalgic with Revolution soon, before it closes.
I rode Revolution. It was ok.
@@CanobieCoaster - it’s not as intense or technologically advance today but in the early 90’s, that concept was incredible. Wow, I’m really showing my age. Great channel and videos btw!
Just got Back from Florida went to 6 days of parks in a row (all 3 Univesal and 3/4 Disney) was a lot of fun but now I want to go on a trip to California for Disneyland 😂
Nice!
For me the best park is the local carnival, they have the best ride I’ve been on in the cortina bob. It’s a fabbri magic dance/brake dance
Cool!
I love amusement/theme parks and riding thrill rides, but doing it solo sucks and just emphasizes the loneliness lol
I don't mind going to parks alone since you can do what you want when you want.
Haven't been out of the country but I have hit up most of the big ones in the US. Here is my Top 10:
1. Cedar Point
2. Dollywood
3. Silver Dollar City
4. Six Flags Magic Mountain
5. Holiday World
6. Hershey Park
7. Six Flags Fiesta Texas
8. Busch Gardens Tampa
9. Carowinds
10. Busch Gardens Williamsburg
I need to spend more time at Knoebels. I only spent a half a day at the park and it was on a day early in the season with a lot of things down.
Makes sense why you want to get back to Knoebels.
It is criminal that Energylandia isn’t on this list and it should be top 1😂
That park isn't well-rounded enough to make it. It's in the next 5-10 parks.
Just a question what’s ur cc
1159
Jesus you rode about 0.9/5 percent of the worlds coasters
My top 5:
1. Disneyland
2. Islands of Adventure
3. Cedar Point
4. Silver Dollar City
5. California's Great America (Home park bias, although I've only been to like 13 parks)
Most anticipated park: Tokyo DisneySea
Nice!
Can you do a top 25 parks based on coaster collection alone disregarding the importance of theme please?
Maybe!
@@CanobieCoaster I like theming and all. I mean Efteling was incredible, but when I travel the world it’s the coaster line up that decides my trips
@@CanobieCoaster I’m going in a massive coaster trip the full month of July. I’ll send you the dates I’ll be at each park in case you go to any that day so we can say hello
@@CanobieCoaster I’ll DM you on the Gram
if i ever win the lottery im going on a 6 months trip to the USA to visit every theme park they have
Nice!
If I had to make a top 5 list it would be 1. Europa Park, 2. Phantasialand, 3. Walibi Holland, 4. Toverland, 5. Efteling. I haven't been to any disney parks in recent years so I can't judge and parks such as Hansa park and Heide park aren't better than Toverland and Efteling in terms of Atmosphere.
I like Hansa and Heide a lot too.
I forgot to mention WHY I love that Disneyland is your #1 Park! I have been going there, for over 35 years! 💜 Many of my life's milestones have happened there! On March 26th, 1996 my husband proposed to me there! 💜 On June 20th, 1999 we returned to Disneyland 🏰 for our weekend Honeymoon! 💜 In 2004 we returned to Disneyland for my kid's 1st Ever walk down Main Street, when she was just 19 Months old! I cried! 💜 We also took her to celebrate her 16th birthday, AT Disneyland in 2019! 💜 So many great memories throughout the years, and it all started, when a high school boyfriend took me there...when I was 15 years old, because I had never been there! When I read the plaque, on the bridge, then walked out, onto to Main Street... I fell in love!! 💜 💜 💜 😊
Wow that park clearly has a lot of history and importance to you!
How kennywood isn’t on here is beyond me
It's a good park, but I like parks with some degree of theming.
Surprised Kings Island is so low. Do you find it overrated?
I just prefer parks with theming. Kings Island is a fantastic amusement park.
You said you like Great Adventure for their operations on bad weather?
I guess it does not apply to the Kingda Ka... Or maybe it was changed over the time
Ka is the one ride they're cautious about, but I have ridden that in cold and foggy weather.
I Lived In Florida For 19 Years And Ive Never Been To Uncle Bernie's :(
I never made it there.
I can't believe my home park is top 20 ( Busch gardens Tampa )
And it'll only improve with Iron Gwazi.
@@CanobieCoaster ya I know I want to ride iron gwazi when It opens
Where does Energylandia rank so high?
It was in the first 5 that missed. The line jumping and queue set up held it back.
I have been to magic kingdom
Nice!
Guess i’m pretty lucky 30 min from knoebels 40 from hershey
Yes.
When I visited Efteling in 2006 it was very mediocre park!
Nice atmosphere, beautiful and great service but bad operations(one train for most rides), long lines, and outdated rides with very few coasters and non of them was really good maybe expect for the dark one.
Happy to hear it got improved
Lines have been a thing during my visits, but the rest of the park has been great.
@@CanobieCoaster
in 2006 the only coaster they had:
That old looping coaster
The dark one
The bobsled which was great-my first every of this kind.
An old junior wooden(the current one replaced it)
And also had some good to okay dark rides, and a really nice river rapids, and an huge pirate ship which is actually pretty thrilling on the back row.
Not bad, not a top level park by any means. I was only 13 at this time, and came as tourist(I am from Israel) and was disappointed when I realized there is also Walibi Holland which seemed to be better
I suppose you're not a fan of B&M dive machines as Valkyria at Liseberg didn't even get a mention :D
I visited before that ride opened. I do like B&M dives.
Are there any non Chinese parks out there that you haven’t been to yet that you think could make this list?
Epic Universe, Lotte World, Universal Singapore, Genting Skyworlds, Six Flags Qiddiya
I guess im quite spoiled to live ~1h away from Phantasialand, Europa Park, Tripsdrill and Holiday Park 😅😂
Nice!
Sorry, I can't believe that BS... or do u live in a alternative version of germany ?
I would have Islands of Adventure higher on my list, if Velocicoaster was open
Makes sense.
Low key sea world Orlando should be on here
Just missed.
i came in expecting disneysea to be number 1 but it wasn't. love to see the unique opinions, i have been to disneysea and i found it slightly overrated and that ioa and cp were pretty close to it.
I wish DisneySea had a few more rides.
Eurodisney or Phantasialand?
Phantasialand easily.
@@CanobieCoaster thanks!
And thank you for the very well made video.
Did the opening of Iron Gwazi change the order of this list for you?
It certainly helped Busch Tampa.
What is your opinion about:
The original Universal in LA
Thorpe Park in UK
Warner in Madrid
Animal Kingdom
Epcot
Indiana Beach
Holiday World
Universal LA is a nice park, but limited rides. Thorpe reminded me of an average Six Flags. Parque Warner had great theming, but I wish they had a standout coaster. Animal Kingdom & Epcot have great theming. Indiana Beach has a cool atmosphere. Holiday World has great wood coasters and service.
Give Energylandia a try. You won´t regret it.
I did go to Energylandia last year and made a review on the park. It has an elite top 2 and the new sections look nice, but I wasn't a fan of some things that park did.
#1 should be the park I built in planet coaster
Lol
Phantasialand >>>
Amazing park!
Kings Doiminion where
In the next 25.
Disneyland is alright, but I visited in 2014, and the Matterhorn Bobsleds were closed
Hopefully you can get back another time for that classic.
Dang, I knew Cedar Point would be knocked down a little, but 7th?
The crowds really hurt the experience at this point and it doesn't have the theming of the parks ahead of it.
@@CanobieCoaster I mean, you can go to the park in spring or fall, weekdays, or stay at night if you want small crowds. I know not everyone can do that, but a coaster enthusiast planning a trip can definitely go when there aren’t many crowds.
I've only been to the park on weekdays and lines have still been long.
@@CanobieCoaster I've been 4 times this year on week days. It's shoulder to shoulder.
We’re from Pittsburgh and love our Kennywood for its nostalgia and charm. :) Here’s our family video. ruclips.net/video/CLnWQr-L_zI/видео.html
It's a great park!
Nice Ranking👍But i missed Schwaben Park?
...ok joking aside: i was a bit wondering, why Parc Asterix (especially for theming) or the "studio parks" like Universal Studios Orlando didn't made it.
Parc Asterix was in 26-30. Universal Studios Florida is quite a ways down.
I've been to over 55 parks across north america and japan. I'd say my top 10 are:
10)Tokyo Dome City
9)Sea World Orlando
8)Kings Dominion
7)Cedar Point
6)Busch Gardens Williamsburg
5)Busch Gardens Tampa
4)Dollywood
3)Silver Dollar City
2)Holiday World
1)Knoebels
While Holiday World didn't make my list, it's another park I really like.
Knoebels #1? Seriously?
@@coasterhockygamingboy9549 Yes! 11/10 experiences every time I go!
Well not really gunna say anything, we all know how fun theme parks are. I am a huge fan of CP, KI, SFGAM, and I mean, all of them. I personally prefer amusement parks to theme parks. I prefer the more thrilling and better layout/elements rides than the themeing of the parks and rides.
Completely understandable.
#1. NASCAR speedpark
Just kidding haha
Lol
BGW this in 2020 and 2021 has been really garbage. I only live 15 mins away and it doesn’t even deserve to be on the list anymore. The food has gone to garbage and the operations are extremely slow. When was the last time you went to BGW?
I thought the pretzels I had in 2021 had maybe just been sitting out, but they weren't as good as past years. Trappers was amazing as ever. I went in March 2021 and October 2021. The latter was a ghost town due to rain.
No way Efteling is on the list... Now I wonder where Toverland is?! Because it's waay better then Efteling tbh
I love Efteling.
One park you missed
Warner Bros Movie World, Gold Coast Australia
Best themed rides in the world
I want to get there.
@@CanobieCoaster just a few 100 kilometres away from my house
Hello
Hi
I like your vids . Very well put together . Only thing i would change is your delivery . It feels very scripted like you’re addressing a classroom for a project or something . We want you to talk to us, not at us . Just pretend you’re having a normal conversation .
Thanks for the feedback! I've leaned more towards scripts since it allows for captions after and it's less scatterbrained.
I personally found Disneyland underwhelming after having being at WDW prior. I know it has more history and rides than Magic Kingdom..but the size of the park and the scale of it, along with the location, just made it seem so odd. It didn't give me that Disney magic and immersion that I get when im staying at at WDW. This isnt to say I disliked the park, I still love it (and some things I did think were much better at DL), but I could'nt justify going there over WDW again seeing as they both cost about the same for me.
I like how dense Disneyland is, so the small size doesn't bother me.
Islands of Adventure is home to the first roller coaster with inversions I've ever ridden. Roller coasters are my favourite conquerable fear! My special ed mate is always passionate about roller coasters! He's been going on such attractions since he was the minimal height! NEVER TO BE ABOMINABLE.🎢
Awesome!
