Antonio Ric Thanks for your clarification. I thought long about the logic of placing the ozone generator outside the vehicle and kept concluding the method in this video lacked logical support. O2 is inside the vehicle already and as the O3 produced is broken down new O2 is created as loose O1 molecules join and bond. After all one would not setup this configuration to sterilize a bedroom. Makes zero sense to place ozone box in hallway then run piping to bedroom or bathroom with a hole 🕳 cut in bedroom/bathroom door? I successfully used an Ozone generator to remove smoke oder from my car. Since ozone is a heavier element than air, I suspended the generator from the roof handles using stiff wire. I put an oscillating fan (oscillation turned of) in the back seat to circulate the ozone. Also, don’t forget to run the car’s ventilation system in RECYCLE mode to cleanse the vent system. Thank you for this outstanding video regarding use of ozone O3 (not CO3). The best video on the subject I've seen so far on RUclips. You have hit all the essential, practical application points, many of which I would have missed. When you say "think like a gas", that's exactly on point! A few thoughts I have... Air is roughly 20% oxygen and if you convert most of that to ozone, you're good; way more than good. A generator can be effective put a vehicle. The idea about ozone being heavier than air is technically true but of absolutely no practical value due to all kinds of other phenomena like convective air currents and even brownian motion not to mention your ventilation fans blowing. It's not going to instantly fall to the bottom and fill up the vehicle as if you were pumping water in there. Forget that idea and think like a gas. Cigarette smoke is WAY heavier than air. Does it fall to the floor? You can just put the generator inside the vehicle and the ozone will disperse perfectly and uniformly and diffuse into whatever it can diffuse into (which is why it's important to clean surfaces first as you say). Ozone has an odor threshold of about 0.1 ppm and is toxic at that level already according to NIOSH. I would not want to spend significant time in any enclosed space where I can smell ozone. So it would be best to allow sufficient time to let it diffuse out of all fabrics etc.
Just wanted to stop by and say thanks for this video. I had a very smelly car and ozone treated it a few times (the incorrect way) and the smell did not improve. After using all the methods in this video the ozone generator is finally making a noticeable improvement.
Extremely helpful, first try in the used car that was purchased and had a stench of cigarettes, after one treatment the smell is gone for now. Will need to wait and see if it does actually last and smell of cigarettes does not return. Followed those advice for my setup except used a plastic garbage bag for the window using painters tape to seal the openning and then passed a pool backwash hose through it. Note you will need to cover the opening of ozone generator at the front so you can connect the other side of the hose, I used a simple carton box with tape to hold it in place. As well I would not used any less than 1.5 inch size opening for hose otherwise I don't think you would get sufficient flow, anyhow pool backwash hose are easy to find and cheap.
Putting the car in sunlight will accelerate breakdown of the ozone, where 2 O3 molecules become 3 O2 molecules -- no involvement of the odor molecules is needed. It IS a good thing to park it in the sunlight with windows down at the end of the treatment, to reduce the toxicity more rapidly. Also note that ozone attacks the car surface materials and foam rubber. I could feel more tackiness to that rubber coating that VW puts (on 2001 era) on door handles after a 45 minute treatment. So ozone is not something that you want to use for very long, or for many times.
Correct. The sun will destroy the Ozone. It would be better to put the car away from the sun for an hour so it can continue to work and then put it in the sun to destroy what is left so you don't get sick. Also, Ozone is O3 not CO3. I don't know if the ozone generators really create CO3 rather than true O3...it is possible. source: I'm a chemist.
Scott is correct, heat does speed up the movement of the atoms so they become more active and more effective. They do not, however create ozone. A pre-treatment with the heater running is a much better option for recycling air throughout the system, with the added benefit the interior of the auto will be hot for the main treatment. Cheers!
Scott, I know you didn't want to include a review of models in this, but it's important to let people know HOW you managed to do it. I've seen a couple comments asking how you managed a hose attachment to the o3 machine. As others said, most are sold without a duct flange for carrying the air to your car. Without it, you'd risk running the unit in the car with NO FRESH AIR, like you said not to do. So, What unit did you use? How did you get the hose on it? Did it come with it? HAS ANYONE ELSE READING THESE COMMENTS MANAGED TO REPLICATE HIS SET UP, or did they all end up placing the machine directly in the cabin of the vehicle.
The part about needing to run a hose for fresh air is wrong. Air is 21% oxygen, there is more than enough oxygen in an enclosed car to generate more than enough O3. But he is correct that O3 is heavier than air, so having the generator high up in the car, or a fan inside to circulate it does help.
He used the Rainbowair 5401-II. It comes with the flange and foam inserts. You can also just get the flange and foam .... Amec Auto Kit II 5600 Hose And Flange Kit. The thing is the fans on the smaller generators don't push a lot of air which is an issue the longer your hose. To remedy that you could buy a flange and put it on the back of the generator and set the generator in the car with the supply hose (dryer duct or shop-vac hose) going out the window. As for foam you can get that at one of the big hobby stores or home furnishing store sold as seat cushion replacement foam.
The final step about getting the car in the sun is interesting. People who retrobrite plastics have learned that adding UV lights to the oxidation process greatly speeds it up and one of the processes is to bleach plastic with O3 and UV.
Scott there is some valuable information in this video but I'm lost on the process of using the machine. The steps I gathered through observation while you spoke is 1. Setup on one side of car keeping closed and open the opposite side. 2. Start treatment with opposite doors open (eg.1hr). 3. Remove machine and close all doors and remaining window used for treatment (Same time as treatment eg. 1hr). 4 open all doors for 1hr. Notes: 1. Car must be dry. 2. While trying to put the window up, dont breathe the ozone. Treat in low humidity but let stand and air out in the sun. Question: Step 1 is what wasnt clear to me.
That’s because he botched this whole video. We don’t care if he makes money, we’ll just sue his channel for inaccurate unclear and misleading instructions
Thank you Scott for the video I just wonder something maybe you already said this but would you say it would be a good idea to use the ozone before the deep clean to ensure it attacks the bad odor
Sean The Detail Guy not necessarily. You want to make sure the ozone generator has gotten all odors first because you may need to do another treatment and you don't want all those cleaners getting in the way. Always best to do deep cleaning first and wait a few days to confirm you got the odor, if you haven't attack it with ozone until odor is fully removed...depending how BAD the odor is a few treatments may be needed. Unfortunately there is no magic bullet but keep your process consistent just in case you need to use ozone generator again. Hopefully that helps:)
@@dallaspaintcorrectionautod8343 Im sure it applies just like cleaning carpet. Always use the less aggressive approach first, same situation for this. Ozone generator is your most aggressive approach for odors :)
My wife forgot about some fish in the back of her van. It was in there 3 or 4 days when she took some shopping bags out of there and turned over the bag that contained the fish. What a f..king stink!!! It spilled in the lower tub where the rear seats would fold into. I removed the rear seats, removed and washed the rear carpet and washed out the rear tub section. Let the carpet dry for several days which we're hot and sunny, then reinstalled the whole issue and placed a friends ozone generator inside with a circulation fan as instructed. I think it all worked great but my wife still says she smells fish. There's just one issue, I can't seem to get an air freshener to work in the van now. I even hit it with some fabreeze and the next day, nothing. It's like the process in continuing even though the van was well ventilated.
If I want to remove some odor in the AC system, is it ok to run the AC with the ozone? Also what's the optimal time frame? Will the ozone deteriorate the plastic/ electric in the car? Thanks
So your saying on a sunny day let car get warm inside then drive car in shade and put machine on for a hour or two then take machine off roll up window and push car back out into sun for a hour?
5:17 "This may sound silly to some of you guys..." It does sound silly Scott... I don't mean to patronize, but do you know the difference between microscopic and atomic scale? Don't you think that Ozone is small enough to get through the microscopic ridges in the leather?
You can and it works well enough in my experience, this might be better but is not necessary in most cases. The rest of his advice is good, run the AC in recirculation mode. Basically you want to fill the car with O3 (10-20 minutes), let it sit for an hour, then air it out. In some cases you might have to do 2-3 treatments but it does permanently eliminate odors.
Scott I have an event space in NYC. I had a group who rented it and smoked cigars inside by disregarding our regulations. In your expert opinion, how should I use the odor machine in the hall. 1. Do I use the ozone machine the same way you did with a car. Tube and foam through the door or can I leave this machine running inside the hall and close all doors. 2. I also don't have windows so can't get any sunlight in there. Should I run the central AC unit to circulate the air? Please help
I've been getting mixed instructions. Some users say leave the generator outside and have a hose run from the generator to the vehicle so that fresh air can be fed to the generator and o3 can be pumped into the vehicle. Other users leave the generator inside the vehicle with everything sealed and the air condition running. I have not seen any factual findings of either argument, but would like to know which is the most effective method. Any feedback?
I bought one that goes inside the car. I just listened to their advice and ran it with the car closed up for 40 min. Trying to get a musky smell out. After I ran it, the smell was gone but it had a weird “nursing home” smell. Best I can describe it. So how should I use it again? Do I need to run it inside the car with the windows cracked? Since you said they need oxygen to operate correctly. What’s your suggestion?
Common sense isn't so common. You can't. You do what you need to do as quickly as possible without breathing in the ozone. Hold your breathe, or wear a respirator rated for filtering ozone and do what you need to do to button up the car......
Thanks for the video. I left a bag of chicken in the back of my 4Runner for 2 days, In Las Vegas. Will this work with neutralizing the odor? Some blood did spill onto the carpeted cargo tray and I’ll need to find a detailed that can handle it. I tried to take out as much as I can with alcohol and soaking it up with paper towels, I don’t have an extractor, then tried baking soda on it once it dried. Still stinks in there.
Hi what an awesome Video! I had someone ask me if it is safe for seatbelts and child car seats but I know car seat manufacturers have strict Guidelines for washing with Plain detergent and water only to not ruin the fireproof coating! What about the seatbelt does co3 degrade plastic or Nylon
I had my car treated with ozone by a professional and it still smells two days later even though I aired it out. I'm getting a sore throat and some of the symptoms Scott mentioned in the video?
2 things are incorrect. 1. Yes, ozone is heavier than air. However, so is oxygen and water vapour yet obviously all 3 do not fall. We would never have clouds, ozone would not rise and be in a layer 20 plus kilometers high, and we don't have to have our noses on the ground to get sufficient oxygen. This is due to diffusion and further explanation is beyond the scope of this post. 2. It does not need to be outside the vehicle, no more so than it needs to be outside a home or interior room. This would only be the case in a sealed environment where air is not free to enter. To provide more air, you can always let the car run and turn on the vents or crack the windows. Hopefully Scott is no longer checking these messages given his constant defensiveness and inability to admit being wrong, but hopefully this message will show in the comments as you can trust these minor yet needed corrections.
So, did you tape off the front of the ozone machine so that that all ozone would funnel through the tube into the car? and you put a scrub pad in the back to absorb moisture and prevent that from entering into the vehicle? I didn't get a good shot of what you did but I can't find an ozone machine with a design like that.
Thank you for the great tips on using ozone generator for smoke odor removal. The trunk on my car needs treatment too. Any tips? Side note… disregard nitpickers distracted by “CO3” vs “O3”. Wish my concerns were that insignificant. Thanks again and keep up the great work.
very informative only problem is any ozone machine these days does not come with a hose no matter how expensive no detailing company is offering one with a hose all in vehicle ozone generators only ive only found two commercial grade ozone generators online and they are both in the usa i live in canada and there is nothing for me so trying to find a solution maybe a little diy with some hose ducting attatched to the ozone to mimic this treatment
Great video Scott! I learned alot. I bought a ozone generator that you place inside the car. I didn't have a clue that I would be doing it all wrong. What brand do you use with the hose attached? Thanks for posting this. I got a chemistry lesson and was schooled on how to properly use these the right way.
Will this get bad smells from air ducts I have a customer car that is really bad and I cleaned everything really really good and the car smells great till the air is turned on then its not so good.
I can't find a visual on how to attach a hose to the machine itself. Only how to put it in the car window. I've surfed many places and not one video shows that part of the activity. Please tell me how you put the hose to the ozonator? thank you.
Hi Scott! Well done and on point, as usual. I sure miss...we all miss, your regular postings. That said, I hope you are doing well and doing what is best for you. Cheers!
Would it make sense to run the ozone generator before you clean the car? That way you don't have to worry about the car still being wet from the shampoo process and such.

Still smell smoke Going to try after reading here Heater for 15 min then turn car off close windows and already have park in sun front middle back 1 hr each. Any other tips/maybe an exact order list
You how do i know the sq foot by just looking at the mg/h ? Copilot To estimate the square footage an ozone generator can cover based on its mg/h rating, you can use a general rule of thumb: 500 mg/h of ozone is required for every 100 sq. ft.1 . So, for example: A 5000 mg/h generator would cover approximately 1000 sq. ft.
Very good to hear your clear warnings about the potential dangers that exist for human beings. Breathing in an environment that is saturated with C03 has the potential to be really bad. But is really does a nice job getting rid of odors. Nice presentation!
If I am going to run the air conditioner in order to neutralize ther vents, why not run the car on and air on for the 30 minutes I plans on using the machine?
Well yes, that is what he is saying, and not just while the generator is running but for the entire treatment time. Most generators only need to run for 10-20 minutes to completely fill a car, then you want to let the O3 stay in the car for about an hour to do its thing, and run the AC the entire time to circulate the gas.
I like to run the heat to get the heater core on The resurculating setting not fresh air setting & run the different vents defrost floor & dash as well as in the trunk.
Very Informative video. Wrong for you to state “CO3” as its O3. However, I wish you would have spent more video time showing your technical setup and configuration showing how you physically connected the ozone generator output to the tubing then ran the tubing to the foam and how you attached the foam to the window. I respect that you want to safeguard your trade secrets but you’re in Texas and I’m 2000 miles away in Covid infested New Jersey ( 😂) so I can’t give you my detail business need and will have to implement this ozone process on my own. But, again very informative and different from the video I watched from another pro detailer who simply just placed his unit inside the vehicle on the armrest. Your explanation on why not to do that in addition to the seatbelts, visor, glovebox, headrests, armrest open, etc makes perfect logical sense. 👍 so glad I found your video before using an ozone generator in an improper and insufficient manner to deodorize my vehicle and home.
CO3 is a polyatomic ion better known as carbonate. Dude flexes about “lemme tell you about Mother Nature” - well lemme tell you about high school chemistry my dude.
I used an ozone generator to get rid of smoke smell out of my car. It worked well at getting rid of the smoke smell, but now it smells like ozone! How do you get rid of the ozone smell after using an ozone generator??
Scott, watched this one and previous one but do you find best to do the interior cleaning afterwards? Seems wrong to clean and then treat with ozone and have an surprise reaction to the cleaning products.
Hey Scott, Great video. I had spilled gas in my daughter's car and removed the back seat and replaced with a new one and cut away the carpet where there was a gas stained underneath the back seat. Can you advise what kind of Ozone Generator that is. I did exactly what I wasn't supposed to do according to the video, after wasting money on a machine from Amazon. Can't find a machine like the one you're using. Please advise if you would.
You mentioned in another video cleaning smoky cars without using an ozone machine. I've heard of the ozone leaving cars with other odors worse than why they were treated in the first place. When is the need for ozone implemented over alternative methods?
I’m wondering the same, I had an ozone treatment done at a dealership this past week for mold/mildew that was on my interior due to a sneaky moon roof leak and living in Oregon with the constant rain. They told me they ran it for about FOUR HOURS which after my research seems like way too long? And it’s been about a week now and the car still has an overwhelming ozone smell…
I purchased a return lease SUV and after a week (when the “perfume smell”disappeared), it was apparent it was leased by a smoker. I had the dealer treat the car twice but it still smelled. I watched your video, purchased an ozone machine, scrubbed and cleaned everything, removed the filters (2 exterior and 1 under the dash then replaced them with new ones) and treated the car as you instructed, several times I might add. My question is, how long will it take to get rid of 3 years of nasty cigarette smoke? What else can I do? BTW, I learn a ton from all your videos, thanks!
After several more treatments and scrubbing it still, after sitting outside in the sun, has that cigarette smell. I was able to get it out of the steering wheel though. I just do not know what other steps I need to do.
@@genaroortiz9152 , I’ve had the car 4+ years and I still do an ozone treatment every so often. I use a good cleaner on the leather seats and the steering wheel followed by a conditioner/renewal product every time I wash the car. Using a windshield shade keeps the steering wheel from cooking in the sun which is when that faint cigarette smell rears it’s ugliness.
Luis Romero they do make uv ozone generators that help with high humidity...but even those have limitations and you need to do your research so you make the best decision for you. Trust me your head will spin with many false claims with these machines and could be difficult to make a decision:)

Hi Scott, I have a G63 with a weird very faint mildew smell when the car has been sitting. Was thinking of using an ozone machine or buying a Damprid hanger. Any advice?
Well thank you sir you just explained several things I did wrong while trying to remove the odors from a truck I just bought. I got a unit that sits inside of the truck. I watched a video on the exact unit being used by someone and they said to run it for 30 minutes and then open the doors. The unit sits inside the truck. A bit of background this vehicle smells of crotch, fast foo, wet dog and unwashed butt. It is terrible. I had it detailed, I used 2 cans of Ozium, an entire bottle of febreeze and in a last ditch effort and not even caring aabout discoloring the interior I used a n entire can of lysol. It did nothing. The things I did wrong was having the unit in the vehicle, it is summer so our humidity in the south is almost always over 70 percent. This morning it was closer to 90. I ran the 30 minute session and then snatched the doors open and tossed in a box fan. The smell came right back before the ozone smell was even gone.

I use one that goes inside the vehicle and it works perfectly fine. There’s PLENTY of O2 inside the car to work.
What if there is no sun? I live in Portland OR - we don’t get sun until July - I can’t keep smelling the smoke that long 😢
Thank you Scott for the video I just wonder something maybe you already said this but would you say it would be a good idea to use the ozone before the deep clean to ensure it attacks the bad odor
Dallas Paint Correction & Auto Detailing can you leave the whole generator inside and not have to pipe it through the window?
@@adaneboateng he said not to do that because you'll eventually deplete all the oxygen in the car and reduce the effectiveness of the ozone generator.
@@dallaspaintcorrectionautod8343 Im sure it applies just like cleaning carpet. Always use the less aggressive approach first, same situation for this. Ozone generator is your most aggressive approach for odors :)
Hi, what hose do you recommend for an ozone machine? Or where to get a hose that would work, like a vacuum hose?
Thank you!
What kind of ozone machine are you using ? Confused on how the piping to window goes
I have read that you should run the heater fan. Yes?
Plz reply, which ozone generator is that?
Nice Video. Did you custom make the hose add-on?
What brand of Ozonator is that? Does it come with the hose or is that your design??
Scott covered up the name with that green piece of fabric. Max Ozone has the design though-different unit.
5:17 "This may sound silly to some of you guys..."
It does sound silly Scott... I don't mean to patronize, but do you know the difference between microscopic and atomic scale?
Don't you think that Ozone is small enough to get through the microscopic ridges in the leather?
Great video. I would add, if you are doing this in your car, you may want to change out the cabin filter. Thanks for the excellent info.
Where do you get the flexible hose and it`s attachment to the device? I can`t seem to find
Can all ozone machines have a hose attached to them?
Your video is the first that shows the unit on the outside of the vehicle. Can you just place the machine in the vehicle?
Please help
Scott, will a ozone generator kill cockroaches? I have used bug bombs etc. We use ours to get rid of cigarette smoke.
Hello, what do you think about using it for spilled Roundup or mold inside the vehicle. I have one each to clean up
Please help. Can I have some brands that do ozone generators with same system you showing here. I only find the one you put inside the car.
Thanks
What about the Trunk. should I leave one of the black seats down so the o3 can get back there?
Do you need to start the car if the ozon is working ?
How are you supposed to pull the foam and close the windows without opening the door, turning the car on, and rolling the window up?
Common sense isn't so common. You can't. You do what you need to do as quickly as possible without breathing in the ozone. Hold your breathe, or wear a respirator rated for filtering ozone and do what you need to do to button up the car......
How do you get the hosr attachments
Thanks for the video.
I left a bag of chicken in the back of my 4Runner for 2 days, In Las Vegas. Will this work with neutralizing the odor?
Some blood did spill onto the carpeted cargo tray and I’ll need to find a detailed that can handle it. I tried to take out as much as I can with alcohol and soaking it up with paper towels, I don’t have an extractor, then tried baking soda on it once it dried. Still stinks in there.
What if we are trying to ozone a room that is dark? Should I put a heater after using the ozone machine? or a full spectrum light?
Hi what an awesome Video! I had someone ask me if it is safe for seatbelts and child car seats but I know car seat manufacturers have strict Guidelines for washing with Plain detergent and water only to not ruin the fireproof coating! What about the seatbelt does co3 degrade plastic or Nylon
I had my car treated with ozone by a professional and it still smells two days later even though I aired it out. I'm getting a sore throat and some of the symptoms Scott mentioned in the video?
George I am worried about this too. What happened with your car?
So, should you have recirculation and vents going? Makes sense to me? Let me know please. I'm adding one of these toy detailing arsenal very soon.
Calls ppl “not that bright”, refers to O3 as CO3 🧐
CO3 is carbon trioxide, I wondered about this, as well. My takeaway from this video is to remember to keep the O3 output up high.
Use your fucking eyes, cupcake. Read his reply. Slip of the tongue, douche bag.
there is a great song by Green day- "american idiot", something tells me this is Scotts favourite song
I have been looking for an Ozone generator that can be used outside of the car.. NO LUCK.. can you recommend one?
Scott what a wealth if knowledge. Where or how can I get those pieces on window to hook hose?
Is it a good idea to do 30 min A/C ON and cold setting and another 30 min A/C ON with the heat on high setting ? Both recirculating.
Scott, you are the man! I have an ozone generator coming to me and you just showed me exactly how to use it! Love you brother!
Works great removing puke odor. It even dissolves the body grease / cells of resting your elbows or vingers on doorpanels.
What should be the Technical Specifications for an ideal ozone generator?
Great video, very informative! But, ozone molecule is O3 not CO3, no such thing as carbon trioxide, although it sounds pretty cool!
Great video. Very informative. One question. Can I just leave the hose attached after turning off while I let the vehicle bake?
Thanks in advance.
will this get rid of decomposing body smell that was there for a week?
What foam did you use?
Very good info. Scott, please give a Amazon link to this ozone generator you use. I can't find one that has a hose.
Great video Scott! I learned alot. I bought a ozone generator that you place inside the car. I didn't have a clue that I would be doing it all wrong. What brand do you use with the hose attached? Thanks for posting this. I got a chemistry lesson and was schooled on how to properly use these the right way.
a lot*
Will this get bad smells from air ducts I have a customer car that is really bad and I cleaned everything really really good and the car smells great till the air is turned on then its not so good.
I can't find a visual on how to attach a hose to the machine itself. Only how to put it in the car window. I've surfed many places and not one video shows that part of the activity. Please tell me how you put the hose to the ozonator? thank you.
Have you surfed the waves in Hawaii? I heard those waves are pretty gnarly!
Heat or UV from the sun helps the co3?
Got 11000 ozone
Did front middle back 1 hr each big car. Still smell smoke
Cleaned ceiling shampoo carpet new cabin filt did front middle 1 hr each. Still smell smoke
Going to try after reading here
Heater for 15 min then turn car off close windows and already have park in sun front middle back 1 hr each.
Any other tips/maybe an exact order list
Should I do more then 1hr I read do more 30 min or hr then onetime 2-3 hrs
People leave overnight also depend ozone quality
You
how do i know the sq foot by just looking at the mg/h ?
Copilot
To estimate the square footage an ozone generator can cover based on its mg/h rating, you can use a general rule of thumb: 500 mg/h of ozone is required for every 100 sq. ft.1
.
So, for example:
A 5000 mg/h generator would cover approximately 1000 sq.
Did you air your car out for awhile after?
@@ArthurMSoto yes. I aired it out for a couple hours on 3 different days! Thanks for your reply.
How much do you charge for a two hour ozone treatment
Scott, watched this one and previous one but do you find best to do the interior cleaning afterwards? Seems wrong to clean and then treat with ozone and have an surprise reaction to the cleaning products.
Scott I have looked high and low and cannot find an external ozone generator with a hose set up like yours. Can you assist?
Did you have any luck? I can't find one like this either.
Hi Scott did you make/attach the hose and foam assembly yourself or did it come like that from the manufacturer? Thx Pat
why not use the sun roof?
You're very informative and straight to the point, I can easily tell you're experienced and a man who doesn't take any BS.
You mentioned in another video cleaning smoky cars without using an ozone machine. I've heard of the ozone leaving cars with other odors worse than why they were treated in the first place. When is the need for ozone implemented over alternative methods?
Scott i have a question about paint prep. When you use duplicolor grease and wax remover on the paint do you use it straight or do you dilute it?
So you finish the treatment, you open all the doors, let it vent out....how long do you wait before sitting inside/driving the vehicle?
30 - 60 mins.
Did the smell ever go away?
@@fowlerkennel2824 How were you able to get it out of the steering wheel? This is where im having the most trouble.
Hi Scott, do you still wash you maintenance vehicles with purple power boat and auto wash and finish the wash with meguairs fast finish?
What brand and model is your generator?
Thanks
Great video! What would you suggest doing in a place like Florida with high humidity mostly year round?
Luis Romero they do make uv ozone generators that help with high humidity...but even those have limitations and you need to do your research so you make the best decision for you.
Trust me your head will spin with many false claims with these machines and could be difficult to make a decision:)

pipe the O3 from your climate controlled house.
Love the video Scott, this is one of my next equipment purchases..
Q. so is the vehicle engine and blower fan running during the treatment to help the ozone work through the ventilation system, with your method? Thx, Gary@DetailDriven Green Bay,WI
fife 825 yes blower is on but not on high.
I run blower at about half speed, if that makes sense:)
Dallas Paint Correction & Auto Detailing perfect sense, thanks buddy!
Thank you, this is exactly the information I was searching for! Would anyone know, could I ozonate my vehicle with my little home ozone generator? It has a little tube, not a big pipe, but I was thinking of running it through the window like this demo. I don't have smoke odors in my car, just dog odors.
Incredible the way he explained everything, definitely a professional 👏
Hi Scott, I have a G63 with a weird very faint mildew smell when the car has been sitting. Was thinking of using an ozone machine or buying a Damprid hanger. Any advice?
What a great video! Thanks for sharing your tips!
Where do I get one with hose attachment?
I have a 14 chevy 2500 what can i do to get the dirt and grime off the door panels?
What is the cost for a decent ozone generator?
Scott..... Is it true that u.v ozone machines are more effective than corona discharge ozone generators?
