Best upgrade ever this makes this gun a tack driver my mp45c 2.0 is sick after this and some upgraded night sight! Absolutely recommend it’s makes this pistol next level
Hmm. I got the performance center mp 2.0 with 5 inch barrel and fiber optic sights and I find the OEM trigger hella smooth . the take-up is very long tho. But my first 3 out 5 shots at a 3 inch target at 25 yards hit all on the 3 inch BC target. The otger 2 i pulled for sure and was about 3 inches to the left but bout an inch apart. Still has the hinged trigger and prob will keep it this way. However, I did put an apex kit on my mp 1.0. 😂
@@Da47Panda I remember on the MP 1.0. It was gritty as heck. Like it was stuttering. But this one feels hella smooth. To each their own i guess. It is a performance center version so supposedly they worked on it. Haha. Have a good day sir!
This trigger made my gun so finicky with ammo. I was getting light strikes on everything after this trigger install. Shaved the ears down, shaved the “sear arm” to get the actual sear to fall flat fully, changed the safety plunger to a more rounded safety plunger, polished it, and it still has the occasional light strike. I LOVE the gun but damn do I question its reliability now because of the trigger. Might change it out for something else.
Great for the range and competition but horrible for carry. I installed an apex Duty carry kit on my M&P 40 2.0, 4.5 lbs is as light as I will go and I got there by omitting the Apex trigger return spring and using the stock one. The Apex spring was actually heavier and brought me up to over 6 lbs. That's a bit too heavy for my tastes IMO 5 lbs would be ideal.
I just installed one yesterday, do you notice the slide “jumps” forward a tiny bit when you dry fire? Mine does it (with the apex, not stock) and seeing that it looks like yours is doing it in this video makes me feel like it’s normal
Kept some OEM springs in there … I forgot which ones. When you order the kit it comes with a graph that shows which different spring combinations you can use to get a desired weight… I went with the spring combo to get me at about 4 1/2 pounds .
@@Da47Panda cool. The reset is a lot more audible on this setup, the iffy inaudible reset on other Apex installs kinda dissuaded me from installing one. Nice work
Awesome! Would love to get that trigger. The only problem is in a self-defense situation it might get me in trouble in court..IDK. What's the trigger weight? Thanks.
Cause they’re more expensive bro. They’re trying to keep their gun on the affordable side. If you don’t like it though, you could get a much nicer factory trigger from a slightly more expensive Walther PDP
@Da47Panda aight let me ask you dis..I was actually thinking about getting a flex trigger, but what's ur opinion on, a self defense situation n they try to use in court that you modified the weapon, etc and use it against you?

That’s a slick setup. 🫡
Thanks for watching brother 💪👍
Just installed apex triggers in my 43x and 19x absolute game changer!
Man, that’s nice!! Now I want an M&P just for that trigger 😂
M&P doesn’t disappoint ! 🔥🔥

Mine had the hinge style trigger which I did not care for

one of the guys at the academy had that issues after the install.. Glad mine never had it after 4 of them.
which version is yours 1.0 or 2.0?
Sounds like all the shaving you did to it screwed it up. Never had a problem with mine. I didn't shave anything though
I love the apex trigger on my m&p 2.0 ❤❤❤❤
For some reason mine doesn't have audible reset. Even my stock trigger didn't
Why do they use this trigger? Is it for accidental discharge? New at the gun stuff. I just bought this gun.
Accidental discharge?? That's totally on the operator, not the trigger.

May I ask what is the weight of the trigger?
its a little under 4lbs in this configuration
Wish I could put a sight like that on my 2.0....doesn't allow for mine😢

All springs in the Apex kit or did you mix with OEM ones?

Love the gun but what is that big ass flood light you got on it lol?
Surefire x300u
Any way to reduce the take up?
no because the take up is what is pushing the safety plunger down.
Did this come with the updated trigger and you just upgraded to the apex? If so how much better is it?
No this one came with the original M&P trigger .. that’s why I upgraded to Apex
Is this for the new m&p 2.0 45 just released with the new trigger cause i dont like like the lbs
Whats the sight jeez
Did you get it sent for that optic cut or did it come like that? Haven’t seen a 4.25 like that in fde
It came like that.. this is the 4in optic ready model
I have a first gen m&p 40c im thinking about upgrading to an apex, the oem spongy
Can’t go wrong
Hey brother, would you be willing to let go of the oem trigger it came it with?
Awesome! Would love to get that trigger. The only problem is in a self-defense situation it might get me in trouble in court..IDK. What's the trigger weight? Thanks.
I don’t know why S&W just don’t use apex as their OEm supplier for triggers. The factory triggers suck ass.

I just don’t trust after market triggers on my guns
What recoil spring are you running?
Running factory recoil spring
Is dat ur edc?
It was for a while but not anymore … it is now my “travel gun”
