Triumph................................... Rules
@@rickrobb6546 yessssssssssss!!! 🤘🏻
Great album. Triumph never got the credit they deserved.
Great album yes! Love this band and you are correct, never got the credit they deserved and DEFINITELY gone too soon... :( Thanks for watching and commenting!
Thunder Seven is Triumphs best album. I had the pleasure of seeing this tour in Phoenix 1985
Awwweee... Lucky you! Jealous!
I love triumph
I love em too! Thanks for stopping by! :)
@@offthecharts2272 of course
Hi there! Great album and even more great band. I think i must play my old vinyl now. Thanks and Rock on..😁🤘
Oh fer sure! Great album and even better band! Rock on, Roll out? :) LOL!
😅👍
Triumph-Spellbound . O.K Will play that tomorrow, its on my " Triumph " compilation.
I have been jamming " Loverboy " and Bryan Adams after watching your Canadian songs video. " Turn me Loose '
is a terrific 80's song IMO.
Ya, Spellbound and Follow your Heart should be in your compilation... the video for FYH is also cool to see the light show (bare in mind, this was 1984)... Loverboy... yes, I almost chose "turn me loose" which would be equal to Working for the Weekend as popularity... it was a toss up :) But i remember seeing Loverboy live opening for Journey, and the first few bass notes of Turn me Loose got the crowd VERY wild...
I do enjoy you doing rating these (old) albums we all (?) love and enjoy - made me wanna listen to it again!
TRIUMPH never ever toured in Germany, so I have never seen them, the closest was Rik Emmett playing at Bang Your Head once...
My request and maybe more possible than my last suggestion is a Analysis and Rating of *KICK AXE - Welcome to the Club* from 1985! ( Pretty sure you own those first three albums by this band...?
( Wanted to request "Rock the world" initially, but the problem is the sound from the original release from 1987 was massacred in the studio, only much much later I heard the band put out a better / updated version which I am still looking for...)
Well, then both you and I have never seen Triumph live (myself, i have no excuse but when I went to my first concert in 89, they had already broken up with Rik Emmett...)... I can definitely do Kick Axe - Welcome to the Club! I own all 3 albums! :) I've added it to the list! Thanks again! :)
Wow, I'm a little surprised by your rating. I taught you really liked this album ( your favorite Triumph album). For me this is a 9 or 9.5. I love it and love the deep cuts.
It still is probably my favorite Triumph album... due to the strength of those 10/10 songs... but when you do a deep analysis of track by track, some songs stand out more (or less) than others... are we still friends? :)
Yeah Spellbound is awesome. Reminds me of Breakout by Bon Jovi. On the subject of songs sounding like other songs The start of Cool Down sounds like Can't find my Way Home(House Of Lords/Blind Faith) before turning into a Led Zeppelin song.
Yeah, we watched the SPellbound video you and I once and you told me the same thing about "breakout" - so i went and bought the BJ album! :) Hmmm, I will need to go relisten to Cool Down now and match with HoL...
You should review the 1988 self titled album from the band. HITTMAN . The greatest band to not make it big .
Hmmmm... I am not aware of that one! To Discogs! Another to add to my wishlist! :)
Enjoyed the review!
I'd probably go a little lower, maybe a 6.5. It has some moments, but much of it falls flat for me. I'm a typical Allied Forces guy... no other Triumph album even comes close, imo. I mean, it's the only t-shirt I own by the band. 😂
I'm glad you reviewed Thunder 7, though... because Allied Forces is kinda like Moving Pictures by Rush... often discussed.
🍻
Ya, the friend who suggested Thunder Seven also suggested Allied Forces... and for me to pick between the two... so I guess I did good eh? :)
So I see you wrote a comment for Kick Axe Welcome to the Club, but I am unable to see it once I click on it... unless you removed it? LOL I dunno... I just want to say that I'm not ignoring your Kick Axe comment, I'm just unable to reply to it...

I deleted my comment because I just wasn't satisfied with it. I posted another one.
✌️
@@loungedweller lol. I saw that! I replied also! I will also check out your suggestions!
I don't really know anything about them. I know the band name but I don't remember any singles on the radio and can't remember anyone being into them down here. Guess I'll have to find something by them.
They are worth checking out... not difficult to find here (until you're actually searching for them) LOL But yeah, they weren't really a "hit" band (although had many songs on rock radio...) If you are looking to sample songs, check out "Magic Power", "Spellbound", "Follow Your Heart", "Lay it on the Line", etc...
little boys blue is the best song ,,,,,,,,,,,, and girls girls
girls totally sucks,, time machine never surrender, just a game, sport of kings, Triumph was my first concert 1982-83 checkout the line up
Y&T, Night Ranger, Triumph, Brian Adams, Eddie Money, and finally Journey, I was 12-13 yrs old
Ya, sorry... Little Boy Blues just isn't for me... well played, but my ears like "rock" :) And WOW! Talk about an awesome lineup you saw there... and for a first concert ever! Awesome! I am officially jealous now! :) Thanks for watching and commenting!
I saw Triumph in the late 70s, their sound guys screwed them. Sounded like a little stero playing
