The TPOH song ok i get... but it's really weird how certain bands do not translate success everywhere in the world... But it's odd how those songs I named are household names here, no questions asked...

Someone gave me one of their setlists, and I had to wonder why they had a setlist in the first place - they've been playing the same show for decades. I never knew that about the Loverboy album cover.... wow 😳

That Bryan Adams " Reckless "was a big seller here in the eighties. As well as Shania, my mum loved that!. A Shania song was played at my wedding. " Loverboy " had a string of eighties hits as well here. But then like you said nothing after that. I can name some other bands, but i'll just finish with " Blame Canada " from the Southpark movie!.🤣
Yeah, I think Shania and Bryan Adams managed to sell a LOT overseas... not all canadian bands were that lucky! Hahahaha... "Blame Canada"... i remember that song unfortunately... :)

Ya, TPOH was huge in Canada from about 88-91-ish... Great List too! All good songs! Love that you put some Harem Scarem in there.. Mood Swings is a classic album! As for Sword, I did do an episode on Sword (2 actually) - one of them is a revisiting forgotten bands, and the other was a concert review where we missed Sword (because they were added to the bill at the last minute and we didnt know about it because the show was out of town...)... BUT, it did end up with Sword's singer Rick Hughes to subscribe to my channel :)
