Lets make an awl. Make a quick and easy but useful shop tool using scrap wood.

It has been a awhile since I had used my lathe. So I took advantage of the opportunity and made an awl. This process took about an hour and that was with the moving and setting up of the camera. Plus it was just another piece of scrap wood that won't be cutting up my cluttered shop. "Turn" a piece of walnut, a nail and some 5 minute epoxy into a useful tool for woodworking.
