Thank you so much for bringing tears to my eyes. This game is the first Mario game I ever played and is my childhood. My dad bought this game when I was about the age of 6. I loved watching him play it. I soon created my own save profile and played myself. I was terrible of course, but the wonder and curiously was there. Looking into the beautiful emptiness of space, and the brilliant colors of the observatory really made me excited and ready to explore the crazy galaxies. A time when everything was so simple
It was on 6th of December Nikolause eve
My father just got me home from School at 6pm (we had a school Event) and told Me that Nikolaus was there and left Me a gift. I searched around at the house and surely i found it .
Super Mario Galaxy 1
I of course immediatley booted up my Wii
I remember 6 year old Me being very excited
As soon as I finished the tutorials i was Moved to Rosalinas space observatory and then the music
So yeah, you brought such a immense ammount of joy and emtion....
It had been a long time since i last expressed my emotions and Even openly weepimg and almost ugly cry. Hearing this song alone has worked better than all my therapists together.
In conclusion ;
Keep on doing what you are doing and you are without doubt one of the most talented artist I have seen .
And to everyone else :
Do Not let 2020 ruin your life we are strong and with Music like this nothing can phase us .
You comment made me cry. This is an immense memory for me as well. Best wishes from Germany
@@linuphotos Sorry for my late response, but i just come to the song randomly from time to time to reminisce and i just felt like tuning back in.
Thanks for the kind words and i feel good that this happy childhhod memory is somewhat shared. I hope you have a great day whenever you are reading this. With kind regards, well, me ;)
wow, truly inspirational. hope you're doing good now!
There's a lot of piano channels on RUclips. But your my favorite by far. It's so satisfying to see you play, and it puts me in a very good mood to listen to your music. Keep it up!
I never thought mario music could make me tear up. It's so beautiful.
when me and my older brother were kids i always sat next to him on with my white wii remote while he had the special blue one, and he always played as mario and i sat next to him and watched while i collected the star bits and shot them back and rosalinas observatory is so nostalgic and i feel like a little kid again, before my brother left for college i used to sit next to him while he played the piano and listen very closely because i knew i wouldn't hear him play in a while, and all of a sudden he started playing rosalinas observatory and i started crying so hard i had to go to the bathroom and freshen up for a while
now my brother lives so far in college and ever since his last visit we've argued so much and now we barely talk and this song brings me back so much
i miss my kuya
dang
Nintendo music is so good, especially when transcribed to piano :U
The mario galaxy series are my favorite mario series by far! That includes all the music they used inside the game! :D youre version is awesome!

Your playing is perfect! I love when musicians play a song, in simple variations, that are a lot more easier to listen too.
Huh, now that you mentioned it and played it, and me going back to the original, it really does sound like a waltz!
this is really nice to hear! i love this :)
while listening to this, at one point i forgot this was a song from super mario galaxy and not a grand waltz meant to be played at a ball
Absolutely beautiful, this soundtrack truly is magical, no matter what form it’s in
I literally started crying, like whine-crying.
Thanks, man
same bro. never happens.
Me: listens to this
Eric: *Plays rosalinas storybook*
Me: damn you so much, it’s enough to make me cry twice
I feel like I'm in a ball room with a beautiful dress and dancing to this. It's so perfect!
This is the song that I listened to on loop for a solid 8 or so hours while I was pulling an all nighter.
