I am in awe. One man made the arrangements, performances, audio mastering and top notch video effects on top of being able to play piano, guitar, penny whistle, cello (plucked and bowed), ocarina, vocals, various percussions, violin and glockenspiel to a grand quality. God man Mario is such a huge party of my life. I’m 30 years old. I grew up with all of these. This medley really made me smile man. All those great memories of me, my dad, and my sister passing off the controller after each death. Man those were some good times. Mario and all the wonderful things it has brought over the years will forever be imprinted on my soul.
i look back on this after watching the mario bros movie and honestly, the movie mixing iconic melodies from beloved previous games of the mario franchise is amazing and the fact i can rewatch something similar to that with the superb mario medley made my day :)

He looks pretty advanced with the violin. He had really good technique with his right arm especially his bow hold. Can’t say the same about the cello but I’ve gotta respect his ability to pick it up and go for it!
ive been following fredde ever since 08, I've seen him do a handful of covers with the cellos and violin way back. I mean sure hes not a professional, but he's definitely far from inexperienced with those line of instruments thats fo sure

Well, to be honest... The tempo of the beats, the rhythm, would be off if he weren't there. He has a larger place than peach. In essence, he may be quiet, but without him there, everyone would know. Luigi is just as important to the music and the franchise as anyone else - He's a core element.
now i know this video is old, but i really dont care. i just wanna say this: no matter how evil or twisted or greedy of a company nintendo is, you gotta admit that not only mario, but their other franchises mean so much to so many people. all these songs played in this video will mean something to someone out there, and i think thats truly where the beauty in video games comes from. the memories we make and music is a big part of those memories. we play these games, not realizing that these cute little tunes playing in the back will be forever engraved in our brains, yet the second we hear them we smile to ourselves and think of all the memories. i personally think nintendo is the best when it comes to creating this spark. their songs are always so damn good and, get stuck in your head forever. though everyone can be nostalgic about other games from different companies, i think nintnedo is probably the best for nostalgia. like sure you can be nostalgic about crash bandicoot or halo or whatever, but theres truly something special about nintendo games, especially mario. well whatever ive been talking for too long. thanks for sticking around to read my little rant. see ya later :)

if you look closely at 1:00 or 5:13 for example, Peach has a middle bang, Rosalina has a bang covering the eye, and Daisy has a bang splitting down the middle (if i made a mistake, I'm not used to doing stuff like this so...)

now i know this video is old, but i really dont care. i just wanna say this: no matter how evil or twisted or greedy of a company nintendo is, you gotta admit that not only mario, but their other franchises mean so much to so many people. all these songs played in this video will mean something to someone out there, and i think thats truly where the beauty in video games comes from. the memories we make and music is a big part of those memories. we play these games, not realizing that these cute little tunes playing in the back will be forever engraved in our brains, yet the second we hear them we smile to ourselves and think of all the memories.
i personally think nintendo is the best when it comes to creating this spark. their songs are always so damn good and, get stuck in your head forever. though everyone can be nostalgic about other games from different companies, i think nintnedo is probably the best for nostalgia. like sure you can be nostalgic about crash bandicoot or halo or whatever, but theres truly something special about nintendo games, especially mario.
