Good morning everyone, welcome to my channel! I'm going to take you through an energizing 15 minute morning yoga stretch to help wake you up and set your intention for the day. Physically this practice will focus on twists and hip openers.
This is an all levels practice that will work on full body flexibility with a bit of strengthening poses thrown in for a boost of energy. This 15 minute sunrise morning yoga flow is the perfect wake up total body yoga class.

Kassandra I am SOOO not flexible and I feel like so many yoga instructors don’t know how to cater to this, while still giving a really satisfying stretch and getting all muscle groups involved. This one lil routine has restored my faith in yoga, I’m literally going to stick to this exact routine for at least a month straight, because it’s the first one that ever felt good. Fantastic work, you’re great!!!
I love Kassandra and her yoga vids.. I just find her quite fast for my level of flexibility (which is not bad but not great either).. so I very often slow the vid to 0.75 speed. This gives my body the chance to sink into the poses and allows for a deeper stretch.
2 years and I’m just finding this treasure of a practice 🌸
I woke up thinking "I need an energizing yoga today". Then opened my laptop and this video popped up!

I can't sit on my toes it's basically the hardest position for me !!!! What's wrong??? Am I holding tension in my feet??? It looks so simple

I had the same issue , over time it gets better but still slightly uncomfortable.
That's because the muscles on your feet are tight. As you stretch them more, it'll get better 🙂
This is, hands down, THE BEST yoga for morning back tension. I can’t even begin to describe the relief and flexibility i feel after doing this!!

i am a pilates instructor and do a lot of body weight burns for effectiveness in my toning and muscle gain. this has helped loosen me up like no tomorrow. the mental aspect is phenomenal. I've tried yoga MULTIPLE TIME and have never felt a connection to a teacher. such great content wowowo

@@yogawithkassandra I can't thank you enough for your practices. I use at least one of your practices out of the 3 I do daily (0530 practice before gym/morning run, 0715 practice as cool down after gym and 1700 practice to shrug off the work day).
Ohmygosh. Never did an anclestretch like this at the end. That was intense 😮
I tried to use the pandemic (which has sucked tbh) to really try and focus self-development. Recently I decided to wake up at 6.30am every single day to tackle a decade of insomnia & I've been hunting for a nice twist-y, spine & leg goodness yoga session to watch and tempt me out of bed! Hopefully this seals the deal and I can really get used to that early morning sunrise & wonderful calm, cause GOSH these stretches feel SO good. Thank you 🙏❤️ ! (Although deep down I know I will always love that night air and dim light haha)

Ex: I’ve done the 30 day morning movement, I’ve done the 14 day yin and yang, I’ve done the 7 day affirmations challenge, and all the others. I know you make monthly challenges but this are a bunch of ur vids from the last put together. I know it’s hard but can you make more exclusive challenges that are short like a week or two? Dear Kassandra, this was just the perfect practice for the day. I practice every morning and some days my intention is simply to be able to! I have lumbar hernia and sometimes it makes my practice quite challenging

This was lovely, but I’m not sure it’s an all levels practice. I think beginners would struggle A LOT doing this in the morning. I would say it’s more intermediate. These are not poses one can catch up on right away

What a wonderful practice…the looseness I feel after 15 minutes is amazing. I added on a tree pose for balance and several slow neck rolls for blood flow to the brain. You have packed in so much goodness in such a short practice. Thx!
