Kevin, your video and postions are so exact and graceful. Thanks for such a great, well executed video as I watch and do often along with my tai chi classes and would not have been able to learn the sequence without this. Awesome videography Shelly!!!

your movements are smooth and moving your body, arms and legs from your lower dan-tan is very good (may be you are a dancer) but i think you open your elbows entirely straight - it is not correct i wonder) and what kind of tai chi do you show? could you tell us about your teachers? please correct me if i have any mistakes with my english and my thoughts ) Thank you and wish you success !!)
Hi Hikmet,Thanks for your comments! If you watch our other videos you will find that I mention my teacher Mr. Moy Lin Shin quite frequently. He was a Taoist monk who immigrated to Canada in 1970 and passed away in 1998. If you google Moy Lin Shin you will find some info on his lineage on wikipedia. He had a very profound understanding of how the body worked. He learned from a number of teachers in China from a young age and dedicated himself to sharing his knowledge with anyone willing to learn. His style is basically a Yang form that he modified ( with his teacher's permission) incorporating elements from his Chi Kung , Hsing-I and Lui He Ba Fa training. The extending of the limbs is not incorrect but crucial to opening up the circulation and changing the tendons and some of his students have suggested that he modified the Tai Chi to help prepare his students for Lui He Ba Fa. What style of Tai Chi do you practice and where? And no, I am not a dancer by any means LOL. Just lots of Tai Chi practice. Cheers
ok thanks for this nice explanation) you are right tai chi is changing like as life) success to you i will write to you and your tai chi -it is so movement able))) so softly)) that is why i think may be this way will help to move chi in the body very easily)
