Rathalos charge:

I knew the moment i'd seen it was 15min video it was gonna be a real masterpiece. I love the fact that you gave each fight their own unique sense of wonder and comedy, nothing was repetitive you changed it up with the music and made something im gonna watch over and over. I've hunted so many rathalos and rathian on mhfu and it was a pain in the ass with the broken hitboxes and flight 24/7, but now that i've played world, they're way too easy and i miss that nostalgic hardness, ty for reminding me that 😢

Well with the flashing bomb nerf you really don't want them to fly all the time.
Flash them and traps. In mhfu monsters didn't build up resistance.
Yeah but flash bombs were stupid op in old gen. Flying wyverns only sucked in old gen if you weren't prepared. In gen 5 after a flash or 2 they don't even fall anymore and in mr they just straight up become immune lmao
Honestly, I freaking respect you for using range weapons in Gen 1, you're insane. It has to be the most painful experience I've haver had playing co-op with friends

Oh god yes! ranged weapons in Gen 1 were... Weird, like, why tf do i quick-aim by keeping L pressed and moving the arrows while my inventory was on? that's extremely uncomfortable
And then there's the aim, you give the lightest touch to the R trigger and you're stuck there for a monster to hit you.
Ah right, actually was a sux since we can get stung by that fucking vespoid azzhole easier coz moving with ranged weapon gen 1 is just like pain in the ass :’))))))))). May the Hero of Kokoto bless you, mate🙏🙂
On the bright side, you’re the only weapon that anyone wants to bring to Fatalis.
Little pro tip, when sleep bombing do not put the small barrel bomb so close to the monster. The purpose of sleep bombing is that the monster wakes up with the biggest damage possible, since the hit that wakes him up counts double of what it normally does. When putting the small barrel bomb so close is that initial explotion what wakes the monster. Next time put the bomb a bit farther so when it explodes it ignites the big barrel ones for more damage

1st and 2nd gen Rathalos was a pain, man... He took my 1 month to hunt him, he has many freaking heavy attacks and insanely high damage!
Bring hammer flash bombs and books and materials to combine extra flash bombs, that way he is a cake walk
@@erickdenis3265 I was using only 2 or 3 flash bombs and hammer (I had Bone Broadaxe) to hunt him, after some time, I could keep his moveset in my mind so dodging his attacks weren't hard.
That's why I love old gen 😅
Just use gun, i really hate him even when using flash spam with any melee weapon ever since i fucking fainted from his tail when hes taunting, i didnt know it do massive damage and fucking killed me.

I genuinely surprised when i find out raths family in 1st and 2nd gen is quite different compared to 3rd gen onwards, especially with how different they react to flashbomb.
The most shocking thing is theyre much more painful to hunt with blademaster even with flash bomb spam. Constant tail flip and their tail taunts that gives massive damage. I tried to farm rathalos tails once with GS and decided to flash him, and then i fucking died while charging, ffs.
Ever since then i just use gun against them since theyre slow af anyway.
I think you should probably cut off the tail first before stunning it with Flash Bombs if you wanted to farm for tails.
Cutting off monster tails are optional so the point here is that the hunt must be successful either way.
Using gun is good to farm rathalos but hammer here is the god, have you tried using hammer against him?

I mainly use dual sword in this game.
@@xxx_jim_the_reaper_xxx i already g rank a few days ago, i just caught off guard and it totally pissed me off, also i don't like using dual sword against them too since all rathian does is charging here and there, same with rathalos where all he does is flying occasionally so its pretty much me chasing them here and there which is boring af. so i figure its much easier to gunned them down.
