- Hunting Rajang is the most exciting quest in MH2 Dos. I almost clear all the quest except Rajang, that monke is a nightmare especially in MH2 cause hunter's movement isn't advanced yet but thats what make it fun(terrible) to play an old gen. Sorry for my broken english, hope you guys enjoy my video :D

I had to learn his entire moveset to have a chance and used a sns with poison. It took enough tries. The g training was unfair against him...
This is why veterans are terrified of him, even if the newer versions aren’t that difficult anymore.
Cause us Vets know the real Rajang not this kiddy version they have now 😆
The raging Rajang in g training or in G 3 at the volcano is brutal. I had to learn his entire moveset to beat him and used sns with poison effect. I remember the fights and the pain until today... 😔
And the 2 rajang quest where one is like 7 meters tall kekw

@@vazazell5967 If you can use your armour, it is fair. G training was unfair without the own Set and less items
Don’t forget that unlike recent rajang old gen one has good hitzone on his body too so you don’t have to focus only on the head
Also when you sleep bomb you need the bombs to hit first, here only one of you arrows did double dmg. The best way to accomplish this is to use a small bomb far enough from the big ones so that the explosion only hit the bombs, not the monster

Ahh I remember fighting Rajang for the first time in MHFU. Granny's final Quest for completing everything. Fight 2 Rajang.
And I was thinking:
"Well 2 of these new monsters. Well its the final quest but they shouldn't be much more difficult then Rathian and Rathalos since it tossed 2 of them at me already. Maybe thats this monsters gimmick that its mediocre and always fights in pairs? It is in the Arena after all. Okay lets give it a try, how bad can it be? Bring it on Final Quest"
I then resumed to get the worst beat down in my hunter career so far by what I can only describe as a angry wolverine with a vibrator down its arse. Nevermind the fact that it was 1 of them and number 2 was waiting. Needless to say... I got flexed on by primitive Goku.

Man I love the old games aesthetic. Unfortunately ive gotten so used to world and rises QOL improvements that some of the old systems seem like such a chore now, I do like going back to play freedom unite every now and then though, great times.

Against rajang always ALWAYS run to left side when you are close to him becasuse he start first step to right side when running. Easy evade 😊

True. His punches always hit his left first also, and the forward spin reaches further to his left than his right, so being on your left is generally advisable to avoid most of the things he does.

Seeing Rajang just submerge and emerge from lava is frightening
I used to play a lot of MH4U, had 600+ hrs on it, and for me, Rajang was my personal nemesis, love his design, but man.... i just endend up avoiding him everytime i could.
I still have nightmares from invading apex rajangs

I remember the first time I hunted a rajang and always got hit when I attacked its face, so after that I attacked its buttocks until finally it jumped backwards and it pissed me off
Rajang is always brutal and it's almost difficult to find a weak point to attack him without being hit by his attack
You know what would've been more heartbreaking here? It's when the Monke died just a tad bit further from the edge of the lava so much so you can't actually reach it and therefore be unable to carve it 😂😂😂😂

@@ryananggoro493 I did all of mhfu solo (not fatalis because I don't hate myself that much) with just the bow... So I think I know what I'm talking about. You have to get the right skills, with the right bow, you have to exploit as much openings as you can, fire at the optimal distance, use your shot type correctly and use coatings intelligently... So I completely get why most people think it does no damage when they try it, but if you know the weapon, it's as good as a longsword. There's a really detailed guide out there if anyone wants to give it a try
@@ryananggoro493 for example most of the shots he fires in the video are way too far, dealing .8 or .5 times their damage. With optimal distance they deal 1.5 times... So he would have killed it in half the time, plus the distance means he wastes a lot of time aiming

Only because of how clunky the movement was, world rajang in an old game would be near impossible
Rise Rajang might be easier than most but imo it's really fun... but Sunbreak cranked it up especially with Furious
@@JeanKP14 i dont even give a shit about mhr rajang or its step bro,they both toned down significantly on top of counter making them look bad while in mhw i still have ptsd against tempered rajang and fought furious the first time its guts wrenching the second time tho it seems it's easier than rajang but still not that easy as it does ton of dmg
Unless youre bad at the game, any rajang is easy in any gen.
