@@Cshepard You didn’t need to be a dick about it, but you still jumped to conclusions even though I complemented the old games. If it makes you feel better I also play MH GU and holy hell is it fun and I really want a way were I can play the other older titles legally (porting them) without having to invest too much on pirating even though it’s the only way since Capcom hadn’t said anything about ports.

MHFU was the first entry in the series for me. I dies countless times to the first tigrex hunt.
Coming back after more than 2k hours combined in the series, this Tigrex got the reality check it deserved. Even with low rank gear I shredded him apart. Felt great to get revenge.

Ah, MHFU nostalgia hits hard watching this video! I remember the countless hours I spent hunting Tigrex in the snowy mountains, trying to perfect my timing and dodges. This game was a true masterpiece and had some of the most challenging hunts.
I used to run a mixed set of armor with Evasion skills to make dodging those relentless Tigrex charges a bit easier. It's incredible how this game still holds up even after all these years. The sense of accomplishment you get from taking down a tough monster like Tigrex is unmatched.

Yes! Getting that evasion up, finding that sweet spot between Tigrex's legs so that you can roll THROUGH him as he's charging you. The first time you landed a charged GS/Ham hit when he charges you. So so so many good memories.

MHFU wasn't my first MH game, but the game i really started my MH life.
The game still rocks hard.
Oh man the 20 minute Tigrex hunt. "that sinking feeling" Literally unforgettable. Going in the exact same- nooby gear on a fresh save already prepared for fighting it since you've got the practice but... can you really kill Tigrex in the 20 minute PoPo mission we all asked? Of course we can. Such a memorable moment.
Believe it or not. You can kill White Fatalis using a max wide gunlance shelling attacks only in MHFU. Yeah I tried it because White Fatalis's skin becomes too hard when he's enraged.
I'm so damn glad i found this channel. It's awesome having so many people relate to the pain, agony, anguish and overall fun my friends and i had with this glorious game. Using Ad-Hoc Party to help others farm all the Fatalis', memorizing where he'd land and seeing everyone place mega barrel bombs, the GS user running over to set them off, flash locking Ukanlos so bad it never stood a chance, just thousands and thousands of hours. Brings a tear to my eye.
I'm playing World rn, and Generations was my first MH but dang the old MH games have such a unique style and atmosphere, love your vids btw

The expanded moveset feels much better in World. Full Burst with normal shelling type has decent DPS if you care enough about that

@@RenoKyrie weapons in Rise Sunbreak are the most balanced among the whole series. Only hammer fell off a bit. And GL in world rely on that ugly wyrmstake blast nobody likes.

Also the countless Kut-Ku speed runs for quick 13k+ Zenny to just farm money. Fastest time I think I ever got on it was like 40 seconds which wasn't bad for a 15 year old who barely had a grasp on the game as it was (remember the first time you looked at Skills and went WAIT OH THEYRE LITERALLY BUFFS WAIT and then the actual game started)

ah my first monster hunter game, i remember it took me 3 hours to learn the button to climb ledges
So i got into MH from the start but didn't pick up steam with it until Freedom and Freedom Unite. I'd been playing solo that entire time but finally convinced 1, then 2 then 3 friends to get it, MHFU that is. Along the way we met a random guy around my age that begged us to let him play with us, yeah no problem cool man. Guy goes on to tell us about how he'd been so fucking desperate, so hard up to play with anyone that he'd stand outside Gamestop and Game Crazy asking guys if they played MH lmao. I still play online with one buddy to this day as we live in different states now but our love of MH still goes on.

What surprised me is he was easier than I imagined.
It took me a solid 17 Minutes of praying he doesn't get a lucky shot in.
I'm never entirely sure but it often felt like this encounter has the aggressiveness turned lower than it usually is, probably so rookie players have an easier time escaping from it. But I do appreciate that they also scaled its HP to be appropriate for the rank and time limit, it's always very fun to attempt to take down.
