I am a pothead! The only connection i have to cigars is my late Father who used to smoke for like 25 years of his life. And yet i don't miss any video from Eddie since i got the chance to know about Davidoff.
Finally tried my first Davidoff today (Petit Corona Signature) after years of smoking strictly Cubans. What a wonderful treat it was, I am now adding a box to my collection...thank you Eddie!!!!
You're missing out on a lot. Same as you, my first year of smoking was strictly Cuban and nothing else. However, I find myself rarely smoking Cubans nowadays. I certainly don't collect it any more.
I'd have liked to see a closeup of that EMS stamp and a the box graphics a little longer. These little stickers, like postage stamps, have a charm of their own.
Greetings Eddie, Appreciate the insight on buying rare cigars/Auctioned Cigars. So far have just tried buying rare cigars from Switzerland, I will keep EMS in mind for the future purchase in UK. Have good time smoking Davidoff Millennium Lancero. Wishing you a wonderful Evening.
@@davidofflondon3525 Things that distract the eye distract the mind. I love your footage and hope to see more soon. Perhaps a tour would be good. For those who have not got to walk through those doors.
I believe this is a technical issue. Too many different lights - and he’s probably shooting with a phone and there’s no problem in doing so - so the camera tries to balance everything. Even when he changes the camera angle, the thing persists. I believe he should turn off said light
I had to look up the Punch Ninfas after this. Given the lancero resurgance we're currently experiencing it would be nice if this vitola was also brought back again as a limited edition so us newer collectors and enthusiasts can enjoy them too! Great video again, every time I watch them it's making me want to stock even more in my humidor...you're corrupting me! How is the millenium lancero? I loved the signature no.1, but I imagine it's quite a different flavour profile.
Thank you 🙏. The Millenium lancero was a fuller flavoured and spicier blend than the no 1. I loved both - perhaps no 1 earlier in the day and the ML in the evening.
dear sirs . this may sound silly bot i have been trying to book a direct flight to havana from london , in the past ihave flown with virgin but they dont seem to fly there now' i would be gratefull if you gould point me in the right direction . many thanks jon . ps keep making your great videos they are so helpfull
Managed to pick up some Roman Allones Special selection in Spain, and the last thing on my mind was resale value. I think if you buy cigars you will enjoy yourself, you will never go wrong. I am perhaps, not the target of this video though.
Thanks Eddie. To clarify are you saying if the cigars are not EMS eg Spain, that rules them out for secondary market purchase? Or are you saying it would affect their value ? Many thanks for the insights.
My pleasure and thank you for watching. On EMS, the majority of collectors we know value EMS first and this will often translate to higher secondary market prices. Cubans imported to other markets will certainly also be interesting but usually command a lower price on a like-for-like basis.
can we settle this once and for all? please tell me ORO Blanco, Royal and many of those cigar above 60 dollar are 100% hand put together without the use of lieberman machine. not alot oof cigar brands are honest enough to confront this question.
I believe a fictional Cuban character called Scarface was once told "Don't get high on your own supply". I believe Eddies love for all things Cuban has likewise led him to a similar conclusion as Scarface, in rejecting said advice, and, indeed, getting high on his own Cigar supply. Al was Scarface, Eddie is Cigarface.
@Davidoff London, Eddie, great video once again! I'm just thinking to myself as I'm watching.... You must do a little tour around your shop again for us... I can see some nice bottles of whiskey in the cabinet there behind you and where are the secret stash of your Dad's cigars vaulted away lol. Are there more cigars downstairs behind the umbrellas?. We definitely need a shop tour on this channel! :) Like if you agree! ;)
I believe I've done well..A Quite pricey recent acquisition to my full walk in humidor: 1999 year (I was in 7th grade) US market selection Chevron 'Petrol Station Regional Edition' Black and Mild's cigars 5pk in a very classy "mouthpiece vitola". They are Black, and oh so mild. Only the finest.
Hello Mr.Sahakian, It is an honor to send you a comment I absolutely love your videos. I was curious if it would be a possibility for you to indulge us with a few of your more well liked new world cigars in one of your next videos. Thank you for your time and all the knowledge you bistro upon us.
With all due respect and by no means doubting that for one reason or the other (mostly good marketing imho) EMS are highly sought after, do you really believe that any serious selection takes place? You do know how Cuba works and I have some rather good idea myself and it is pretty much impossible for them.
I so wish you properly research your facts. Hunters & Frankau, EMS (English Market Selection) started in 1993. Prior to that EMS by H&F strictly for the British market was selected for the wrapper's colour requested natural Light to Brown which was what the British smokers choice. Please do not generalize the British want! Same story with the cigar humidors Temp and Humidity where British like a dry atmos and such does not apply foe all other countries. To conclude. You need to state that Vintage cigars pre 1990 and pre 1980 and pre 1960 to 1970 do not have any EMS stickers for crying out loud.
I could truly listen to Eddie, and Edward as well, all day long. Such a soothing voice and an elegant gentleman.
Watching Mr. Sahakian is the best way to procrastinate my studies, but still technically learn about something.😅
Eddie, simply, ‘The Voice’
Oh how i love watching eddie. My all time dream is to sit one day and smoke a fine cigar in the company of the great Sahakians.
Kirby needs to do an umbrella review at some point....
That has to happen ☂️
'We're singing in the rain'
Been in the shop the brolly’s are incredible.
Lolol
Thank you and a great idea - working on it as we speak.
Love the education, Eddie gives
Listening to Eddie while doing yoga is serenity in itself 😊

One of the most amazing merchants. If you’re in any kind of sales, Edward is worth watching for sure.

Does anyone else get excited when you check youtube and see Eddie put out a new video? I know I do!
Thank you for all the information Eddie. Have a great day.

Thank you Eddie, i enjoy watching your videos and learning about the world of cigars.
I have to say, listening to your video is quite relaxing.
thank you for the insight and education once again
Fascinating! Thank you for sharing your expertise. My kindest regards to yourself and your Father.
Thank you for the information.
Always found of your videos Eddie. Cheers from the U.S. 🥂
Such a great channel!
Adore these gentlemen.
Another thoroughly entertaining and informative video Eddie thank you.
It looks like one of the lights in the cigar room is flickering. Is that a camera artifact. Can you see a flicker by eye?
Yes the flickering light is a distraction to the topic being discussed. I am sure it was on a previous video as well.
Looks like a rotating fan in the ceiling
Thank you and noted - it is a ceiling fan in the cigar room and I promise will be switched off by the time of the next video.

Dear Eddie, I would like to know how/why you guys chose the name of your shop?
Great. Thanks, Eddie.
What procentage of humidity would u recommend for unopened boxes of limitated cigars?
Excellent video Sir ~John
Highly recommend the Davidoff Millennium Lancero that Eddie is smoking. It's an absolute treat!!!
How do you sort your cigars in the humidor order in davidoffs
Thank you for doing these videos.
If everyone in America spoke like this we would be a better place.
Great video!😀
Great video as always 👍 👌
I am sure it has been asked and answered many times, but why is this one "of London" and all the other retail stores of the brand "of Geneva" ?

Sadly, there are no direct flights any more from London to Havana. We now travel via Madrid or Paris.
@@davidofflondon3525 many thanks

Love the video but how about cigars other than Cubans like from Brazil or Mexico and stuff ?
Do H&F give the same scrutiny to New World cigars, like Perdomo or Fuentes cigars?
I believe so. I hope so.

A staple in the southeastern us ghetto, they come aged to perfection😄

How in America may I find a box of Trinidad and Tobago?
Can't you just buy online?
I think you mean the Trinidad brand Cuban cigars. If so they are sadly not legally available due to the Cuban Trade Embargo.
I wonder if I traveled here on vacation if I was honestly able to even afford a box 😂
Eddie, the video quality could have been better.
I have smoked and even bought some fake cigars recently. How do us normal consumers make sure we are buying the real thing? Thank you for the advance.
If at all possible - buy through a reputable cigar merchant. Thank you for watching our videos.
Entitled or what? Self satisfied & complacent to my mind.
This guy never says “um,” or anything of the like, which is impressive.
Is this ASMR?! Haha

For crying out loud, I have had a tumble and it seems that I cannot get up.
