Had the pleasure of going to Davidoff for my 18th Birthday with my Dad to purchase my first cigar in celebration. Met Eddy and he is the most hospitable, generous man i’ve ever met. gave me and my dad a tour and recommendations and kindly gifted me a cigar which was the same as the first he had with his father. Genuinely one of the best days of my life, please visit if you can
Sounds like an amazing experience. I was hoping this would be the experience as they seem like a class act, but it's great to hear that is how they conduct themselves with their customers. If I go to London, this will be a key destination for me as well.
I have to say that, after I watch videos with the Sahakian’s, that I find myself using better grammar and finding unique ways to complement and show thanks to people, and once I do that, it radiates with the people it’s directed at two and just seems to make myself and others happier. I know it sounds crazy, but… I like to see that there is kindness in the unrecognizable world today. So thank you all for that.
I had the opportunity to visit Davidoff this week on my first ever trip to London, and I had the pleasure of meeting Edward and Max Foulkes who were so gracious and happy to meet a fan. I bought the Davidoff Millennium lancero and a Punch La Isla Cuba Regional Edition, which was amazing. Thank you Kirby for these videos! I always end up watching each one like five or six times.
Does anyone have the guts to say to them why are their tie knots thay wide? If anyone does please let me know. I did see them and they seem very receptive to photography, probably not to rudeness though.
What a great video. I don't smoke, I actually hate it but watching three exquisitely dressed, exemplary mannered and very well spoken Gentlemen, in a world today of most people being the total opposite I find it so relaxing .A big thank you Kirby.
“The yellow flame lights a cigar, a blue flame burns it before it lights it” Wise words from Mr. Sahakian that I’ve applied to my cigar smoking experience.
These videos are just a pleasure to behold. I find myself coming back time and time again. When I have no company for my cigar, I can always count on you three.
Great video. I honestly can't get enough of these videos at Davidoff of London with Eddie and Edward. Class acts and true gentleman. My hope is that in this fast paced world that is typically turning their back on traditions and not taking the time to de-stress that we can get back to that. I also love the relationship that father and son have here. They enjoy their time together, are making memories, and share a mutual respect for each other and tradition. We can all learn from this example. Please continue this great content Kirby. I really appreciate it.
Agree with that. "We" are too rushed and while traditions are changing and can change we should sometimes just sit down and de stress, talk and above all listen to each other. I work with teens myself that have a troublesome time and or behaviour. Best times and progress are made when sitting down at a campfire after a day full physical excersice. Those might not be in the mindset to sit in a suit with a cigar but the basics are more or less the same sit down and reflect, talk.
For the first time in my 10 plus years of cigar smoking, I lit my cigar tonight slowly, by match only and I’m blown away. It truly made a noticeable difference. The first few puffs had an incredibly smooth taste. I never realized how “burnt” every cigar I had since then tasted to start. Whenever possible, I’m going Eddy’s way!
Kirby, you're living a life I aspire to match. Thank you for sharing your lifestyle for us all to watch and live the good life through you. You're truely a treasure and inspiration 🙏
I always enjoy these video's with the Sahakians. My favorites to watch. You can tell the great relationship and enjoyment each of them has when they get together. A genuine group of close friends with a great father and son relationship.
Love to see the Sahakians doing well! You guys are bringing class and panache to world and it always brightens my day. PS I just watched your video with Teddy over on his channel, I thought you won that one. The Cartier was what pushed it over the top.
in a crazy era like this and me being 21 Its so beautiful and peaceful to sit and listen to this gentleman i wish more people my age could understand the beauty of keeping tradition and being a classy gentleman
I always look forward to these videos with the Davidoff of London and the delightful chats with the Sahakians. Very soothing and genuine, and I end up re-watching them at the end of a long day. Long lives to all of you. Cheers from Florida, lads.
I was at the store today and was previleged to have met the MEN. They were so warm and welcoming, so much humility and the amount of knowledge they have on their subject is impeccable❤ Needless to say that the store is a piece of art, and I could spend hours just looking at things and listening about them from the two gentlemen 😊
More and more amazed at each video I follow with Kirby and the Sahakian's. Impeccable style, elegance, courtesy. The only suggestion I may give to Kirby and the young Sahakian would be to improve their watch collections 🙂
Love the Sahakian videos. I managed to grab 2 No.1s and I have to say they were one of my favorite cigars. Smooth, creamy, nutty and just a little spicy in the beginning. I think it would be someone's great first or beginner cigar. I hope they bring them back
I think it would be safe to say. If you took the time to know your product and act as professional as the Sahakians you will succeed. No matter the product.
Whether you're a seasoned aficionado or simply curious about cigars, this video offers a perfect blend of knowledge and enjoyment in just a few minutes. Sit back, relax, and let the world of cigars unfold before your eyes.
Eddie seems like he's probably the single nicest man in England. One day I'll take a trip to London and make that a cornerstone of my visit. I hope he's nice to me.
Over the years of watching your show I have been able not only discovered the relaxation of a good cigar but as my wife says my fashion has gotten better and she now calls me a dapper Dan man and when she comes in and I am watching one of your videos she says there’s your dapper Dan man show lol all in good fun ❤
Living the dream! Congratulations! I’m certain you are enjoying life to its fullest, loving every day! Nothing better than dressing well and enjoying a good cigar!
This week I picked up a cigar from Davidoff, enjoyed it over the road at Franco’s with lunch on recommendation from one of these evening videos - loved every moment
I can imagine a round table, a green-glassed overhead light, and a group of refined gentlemen from around the world, discussing the finities of life. What a series that would be, if only they were all living closer to one another.
Gosh, these videos are a pleasant escape from my reality . The commentary is so inconsequential to me, yet the mood and tone and lighting and vocabulary and mild emotional affect are simply perfect. They could be talking about rhododendrons or even literature, and I'd still come back for a bit this every now and then.
I have rarely enjoyed a video, a chat and a company as much I have yours in this one. What a delight. I will expect your next meet and I’ll light a Davidoff in your company. Thanks for sharing this.
So much to comment on: •Glad it's just the 3 of you this time •great to see Eddie with a moonswatch (he has heavy hitters) •the chat is sublime. I feel like getting a whiskey and a H.Upmann
Dirk you just broke my heart when you said you don't sell by the box. My colleague who was with me last May when we came into the shop is back in Maastricht and was going to stop in for that box!😪😪
Thoroughly enjoy my hour of envy watching all of these beautiful men in beautiful clothes smoking delicious cigars drinking 2000 bottles of whisky. One day I will be one of them. In another life. God bless you all.
Delightful, even in the rewatching. I was in London last week visiting the row and just happened to see Eddie on the street going into a sandwich shop. Was tempted to say hello but I was with the Mrs and he seemed in a bit of a rush. In spite of not saying hello I smiled to see the gentleman in his natural habitat. No place like London.
We need a tour of the Davidoff Humidor, seeing the rare and unique cigars & humidors would be a real treat and having Eddie & Edward there to tell us the stories would be the cherry on top.
Edward and Eddie are such gentleman. I enjoy your conversations with them. I would love to know what they have forgotten. Hope to see your new humidor.
Very delighting conversation, what a pleasure to be part of such company,I loved the points about how new world cigars is conquering the world of premium cigars,it's true they have become more popular, and they deliver high quality tobacco with affordable and reasonable prices !
When we were working in London, we used to take the Chunnel to Paris to buy Cuban Cohiba lanceros back in the day, (90s) when they were “relatively” affordable by the box. Now there are so many wonderful blends available worldwide, that I don’t miss them as much in the US. But these look amazing ! Love this channel and especially these episodes.
I absolutely don’t know anything about cigars, like, at all. But Eddie and Edward really have great voices, they were really made to tell stories. I could listen to them for days
You all have such a nice vibe and elegance as well as respect and kindness while teaching and entertainment. I now no longer light a cigar with the blue flame. I have never experienced a virgin puff. And now it’s a must!
In what has become a dangerously shallow world it is refreshing to remind oneself that there remains the possibility of such fraternal intercourse, it may be a conversation over cigars but it is underlined by something much more meaningful. Many thanks for your quality content Kirby.
Among all those role acting channels this is the reality show of gentilmen’s life. I had my first cigar alongside a 18year whiskey last week and I enjoyed it very much. Being in Miami makes things a bit easier I should admit 😊.
I know it’s an old video but I enjoy so much that I have to say. I hope you have conversation like this and reviewing cigars that a little bit more on the budget side
What a wonderful video. Thank you for having these sit-downs with the Sahakians! They, as well as you, Kirby, are treasures in the world of tradition and elegance. I'm curious about something though, I'm new to the cigar world so I don't have a lot of experience especially with the higher end quality cigars but is it easy to remove the "smoking kills" warning labels on the boxes? I just think the labels take away from the cigar boxes.
I JUST missed your visit Kirby. I stopped by the shop on May 19th and the Sahakians told me you were in the shop the day before! How great to have been able to see you again after the festival with the Shahakians in the Davidoff shop!

Can I just say that the evenings with the Sahakians at Davidoff is the best series on this channel?
Agreed!
I agree
Absolutely !!!!!
Amen to that
I would love to sit down with them, smoke a cigars , drink some cognac and have a chat.

I’m a young guy, 26, and I’ve never really experienced ‘gentlemen’ like this. It’s cool to see that tradition still going strong in todays world.
I’m 19 lmaooo
@@LoneWolf-qk9pl Agreed Kirby just needs to tone it down and just not try so hard.
As a person who isnt classy or smokes, i find these videos very relaxing and soothing, amazing content kirby.
I’m not classy and picked up a few cigars and pipes. I’m a bit more a pipe smoker but a cigar every week or so is starting to grow on me also.

Exact same experience, they are all lovely.
Father and son have so much love and respect for each other, what an inspirational relationship.

Fantastic content! More Eddie and Edward please
I pulled this out of my humidor last night. It was wonderful, and I am sad it is a limited run.
The uploads with the Sahakian's never get old! That being said, the timing of this upload means one thing, the Cuba videos are soon to follow;)!
