Eddies voice, knowledge and mannerisms always make the videos he is in extremely easy to watch and enjoy. Impressive tie knot as well.
@Head Piece That's because you don't care to respect others.
@Chilledtim1 agreed.
I had my first visit to Davidoff London last week. What a wonderful place! I was kindly helped in via a ramp ( I use a wheelchair) and the staff were excellent. They were kind, polite and the young man who helped me and my father had a wealth of knowledge on the subject of cigars. I left a very happy man! I will be back without a shadow of a doubt. Thank you Davidoff London.
Thank you for taking the time to visit and the kind feedback.
i use a wheelchair too and i've always wondered if i could get into their shop. thanks for this comment mate. i will definitely have to visit their shop if i'm ever in london.
@@tonyridestrails Nothing stopping you.
What would you consider a sufficient budget for a one time trip / visit? (Including 5-10 souvenir cigars bought there?)
@@3-methylindole730 Not to be off putting but for 5-10 cigars I'd say at least £500. A single cigar from there can cost anywhere from £30 to over £60
Eddie, I love your videos. I'm a blue collar factory worker but when I sit down with a cigar and one of your videos I feel like I'm taken to level of class and elegance which I couldnt otherwise enjoy without... thank you very much Eddie and your Father as well
To be a refined, kind, respectful human being and Gentleman is not dependent upon your income or job title. You can be cultured and full of class while being a proud blue-collar worker who is doing his utmost to be a respectful Gentleman and kind human. Don't let yourself down or intimidated by not being wealthy or having a special job title. There are many people with all that and still having no class, culture or respect for themselves or others. You can be a fine Gentleman no matter where you come from and no matter what you do as a profession, as long as you do your utmost to be the best person you can be! By the way, what are you smoking? I am smoking an Ave Maria Immaculata Toro by A.J. Fernandez, which is a delicious fine cigar, highly recommended! Cheers to you mate!
@@Kenny-yl9pcIndeed, the status of gentleman is independent of class or income. It’s a way of being and acting, not of showing off.
So happy you are continuing this series, love to hear people talk about things they are passionate about :)
The Great Edward Sahakian, a legend from a vanished era. I’m a huge fan of Eddie and all his knowledge and professionalism.
I remember back when I was a child, and teachers would read us exciting books, we’d all be so interested and paying full attention with anticipation. I feel the same as an adult watching ANY video when it involves Mr. Edward and Mr Eddie Sahakian. These Gentlemen are amazing. Been re watching a lot of videos while on break at work, until something crazy happens. Thank you Gentlemen for everything you’ve done and are doing for the world of cigars.
Awesome! :) Thank you for taking the feedback of the community into consideration and reacting with longer videos! :)
Our pleasure!
Eddie is simply the definition of gentleman. If I could exude one tenth of his class and temperament, I would be a happy man.
Finally!! A great video that doesn’t teach one how to cut and light. This is the type of content that the Sahakians should be sharing. Thank you Eddie!!
Love that they are posting more, could easily see this becoming the premiere cigar channel on youtube
Eddie is so class. From his compliments to Cuba and Cubans, to his thoughts on materialism, consumerism and here with the reminder of what a collector's prime motivation should be; to enjoy the cigar.
Eddie wears a moonswatch 😁 love it ❤️
Mr.Sahakian, It is always a pleasure to listen to you and your father, talk about the passion that you both have for a Cigar. I have to admit that seeing a box of cigars with Castro's signature on it always fascinates me, in how your father has done such a wonderful job in their preservation all of these years. Always a pleasure to watch and learn from you and your father.
If Eddie fell in horse shit he would come out smelling of roses! love this guy
lol
This is amazing. Expert Advice. Eddie comes across friendly, humble, and happy and to think a life in something he excels in was all carefully planned out by his father. Sort of like the cigars behind him
Amazing video Eddie. Thank you once again.
25 minutes? What an absolute treat, one day I’ll go across the pond just to visit Davidoff of London.
Mr. Eddie... what a class... I'll go to London just to know your lounge. Learning a lot of you. Thanks

Please continue your series Eddie, it's greatly informative and wonderful to watch. Thank you
Great video, congrats and thanks for all the advices!
I'm so glad you made this video! The aging of cigars is often a subject that is brushed over or only mentioned in passing, so this was incredibly interesting to watch!
Love these videos! I’ve never smoked and don’t really plan on doing so but your enthusiasm is infectious and I love hearing about this topic!
Love the video! Thanks for all the info. Love hearing about the temp and humidity settings 👍
Absolute Masterclass. Thank you for all of your contributions and further contributions to our shared hobby.
Incredible knowledge, wisdom & advice you & your father have & just importantly your happy to pass onto your viewers. Thank you Eddie.
Class is what it’s all about.
I love antiques and one thing I have loved since I was a kid is vintage tobacco baseball cards and all things tobacco like vintage humidors and silver and gold pocket knives and lighters and tobacco or cig cases made of precious metal.
No joke I once bought a old tobacco table humidor with two ashtrays that dangle from each side with a beautiful blue glass ashtray that is lined with copper .
I got it for a steel at $42 and turned it over and found to my surprise it was made in Springfield Vermont USA ,
I am a vermonter and always will be so to find a 100 year old table humidor made from my home state was amazing.
The best part about it was it was stuffed with old black silverware black with age and under 2 full sets of sterling flatware i found a 1969 gmt Swiss t/25 faded Pepsi bezel rolex which was missing the 18k white gold band and a 1913 shoeless Joe Jackson baseball card which was not a tobacco card but it was in near mint and 8 out of 10 grade mint!
The baseball card was a $3000 card one of less then 80 that’s ever been PSA graded and the Tiffany flatwere was 2 full sets I sold for $8,000 and i kept the white gold pocket knife made by esemco co. But I sold the watch on eBay for $10,000 and if it had the missing gold band I would I have got another $5,000 but alas it did not.
The old humidor is worth between $750-1,250 which I still have and is now loaded with amazing cigars I cherish.
Tobacco and cigars have brought me NOTHNG but
Happyness and jot there as fine as any fine wine in my mind and I love a good smoke and one day hope I can make it to the shop, what a dream come true it will be.
Great video!!! Wealth of knowledge
Well I'm glad to see you backing at posting those insightful videos again;as you said Mr.Eddie there is a lot to talk about in the wrold of cigars, and I know it's very challenging to find time to shoot these videos,so thank you very much for finding the time, and I hope to see an episode about spotting the counterfeit especially in the era of social media where there is a huge number of scammers !
Thanks again for a video Eddie.
Fascinating! Thank you for another highly entertaining and informative video. Kindest regards.

Love it when Kirby visits. So much to learn from these gentlemen.
Wow! A long video from you, just when I’m about to light up my first Signature No. 1 Limited Edition 2023! What a treat!
Remarkable. Thoroughly engaging.
What a voice, slow, gentle and rich.
Davidoff London videos are the best cigar videos on youtube, very happy to see a new one!
I absolutely love to listen to your videos.
Excellent video Eddie, I enjoyed every second
What a beautiful classic man.
Great video. I really loves cigar!
I stumbled on this video and immediately remembered an occasion some years ago when I was visiting London and I met this tall gentleman in the Davidoff shop that made a freshman such as myself feel very welcome although at the time I had no idea of the significance of whom I can only now think was Eddie! Thank you so much it was wonderful to buy some cigars from you and I hope that I will get to visit again soon! (P.S Eddie gave me a cigar tube to take one of my purchases home with which I will now admire even more so, thanks again for that!)
I have been hunting that book for ages! Glad it found a proper home with the Sahakians.
Thank you for the knowledge.
Thank you Eddie. Wonderful video as always. Very informative, and the softness and cadence of your voice makes for an excellent presentation.
Exceptional in every way….
Extremely helpful!!!
Probably the most important video on cigars ever produced. Thank you.
Thank you very much, Eddie. Keep it up!
Fantastic information that can't be found anywhere else! And the MoonSwatch suits you well! 👌
It's always a pleasure to listen to Mr. Sahakian as he shares his knowledge. I've discovered many of the benefits to aging (Cuban) cigars more by accident than design. Over time, with my buying rate far exceeding my smoking rate, I now find myself with a substantial number of my cigars at 10+ years of age at the time of writing. The absolute jewel in the crown though, so to speak, are my Bolivar Coronas Extra from April of 1999, without doubt the most wonderful cigar smoking experiences I've ever had, it *still* irks me that such a classic cigar was done away with! I'm convinced also that they have many more years left in them too! I wholly agree that the benefits of aging non-Cuban leaf are far more subtle, the one standout for me has been that the pure strength and frankly, brutality of some Nicaraguan cigars tails off and the smoke becomes a much more rounded and enjoyable experience.
Style and class, well done explanation.
Superb video. Very educational
Mr.Sahakian thank you very much for all the information.
Wonderful video Mr Sahakian! All the Best to you and your father!
Wonderful video! Thanks for all the advice ^^
As always, a class act by Eddie.
Mr.Sahakian, the poise and professionalism that you have when you speak on this subject is nothing short of amazing, you articulate things in such a way that it’s easy for a newcomer to understand cigar etiquette, yet so sophisticated that even seasoned cigar lovers can learn a lot by listening. Fabulous job sir.
Eddie i just wanted to take the time to say one of my greatest pleasures is to get comfterable light up a cigar and watch your videos. thank you for your wealth of knowledge and setting the atmosphere for a nice relaxing evening cigar. i look forward to the topic of the very early cigars you mentioned here from 1938 and hearing more about mr Simon Chase, rest in peace.
This video is EXCELLENT. I don’t have a copy of that encyclopedia of Cuban cigars but I am grateful to have this fantastic video to refer to. Thank you Eddie.
Very much appreciated and enjoyed video Sir. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Thumbs up~John
Wonderful. Thanks
Thank you for this. Very informative.
Eddie is knocking it outta the park with these videos.
Thank you Eddie!! 👌
Wonderful... You have given me the confidence to keep going. I purchased boxes of Cohiba Siglo VI, Talisman's and BHK's as well as boxes of Trinidads just a couple of years ago and just before the pice rises. I am keeping them with 65% Boveda packs in an air-conditioned room balanced at 18dc.
Such an education for an old novice wanting to expand from the norm. Not only learning cigars, but enhancing my gentleman's manor as well.
Pure class!
Everything about the Shahakian's speak class, style, and elegance. I've learned so much watching videos and reading articles referring to Edward Sr & Jr. If I ever make it to London, Davidoff of London will be my first stop!
The amazing technology of you tube allows us all to enter the finest cigar shop in the world ( along with the Sahakian Shop) and "sit" down and talk with the greatest experts in the world. Learning every day. Thank You.
I love that you’re wearing a Moonswatch! Looking sharp and matches the tie well. Thanks for the great content.
Thank you Eddy with this amazing video
Love it , Can’t wait to meet you and your father legendary Edward Sahakian ❤️
I have never heard anybody speaking so clearly and directly about this matter. The exposition is perfect. I hope I can achieve the knowledge of this matter as you have already, one day! Cheers from Italy
Eddie, please post more videos. Learning so much between you and Kirby's videos.
Eddie’s presentation and knowledge are unmatched! I hope to make a pilgrimage to Davidoff London some day and pay my respects.
I can watch this all day.
Thank you Sr. Very interesting video.
thank you for introducing me in to the fantastic world of cigarrs
Thank you Eddie for your exceptional insights. I was recently in London in Southwark and was so sorry to not have the opportunity to visit with you. My first cigars have reached 30 years with the youngest approaching 15 years. Agree with you re the humidity. Being on bourbon trail, I enjoy pairing with a vintage bourbon. I hope to return to visit your fine establishment. Thank you.
That was hypnotic.
Great video!
