Great review thanks! I see you can change the Responce from the trigger but are there no trigger stops? Ie limit the depression of the trigger? If it had these, I could see it being big Competition to the elite, scuf, powera etc.... Without them, I don't feel I'd go for it?

I have 1 question ,what about the Nacon illnis that most controlers suffer from, and that is Ghost triggers, how is that with this version ?
Is the default deadzone settings on the software app set to 0 by default?
Or can i make my deadzones even more sensitive because a few games I play dont allow you to change deadzone settings in game.

Just bought one. So much better then any xbox one remote. Much more natural pistol grip fell. No more wrist pain or finger stretching.
is it possible to record two buttons at one mapping button without the app, like some other controllers? For example, if you press two buttons at the same time while recording.
You know if it's possible to customize the physical A B X Y buttons of the controller like you can with the Xbox controllers? What I'm trying to ask is, you think the buttons are made the same way as the original Xbox buttons so I can buy and swap out the super ugly colored buttons to gray / black ones?
How would the controller configuration interact with the game configuration, like the response curve in warzone for example

"just like a playstation controller" vibration in the triggers was on the original xbox one controllers in 2013. Most third party controller makers just don't include them because that's less profit they can get from you. This isn't a "wow what a feature", it's a "about time they caught up"
What's the polling rate of this controller if this controller's polling rate less then 1000hz its not good ps4 and ps5 controllers can be overclock to 1000hz
Will kontrol freaked work and which ones?
The pads unbelievable for designing response curves, outer threshold and deadzones on games that don't have the option. Like DayZ for instance has %15 deadzone🤮 if you make 0.1 angle recognise 0.15 reactive on the graph, then this cuts out the deadzone for dayz
Excellent review. My basic Nacon xbox controller broke, so looking for a new one. This will be exceelt for fighting games with the programmable buttons at the rear :-)

@@WhatGear Yes, i play that, MK11, Tekken 7, Skull Girls. I cannot use a Arcade stick, I have one but I am slower with them, I might as well give this a go, was happy with my basic Nacon, used it a ton.

@@Charismaniac Yes, i did get it. Its the best controller i have ever had. I love it. You get extra weights with it. You can also set it up to how you want. Programming takes some learning, but i have special moves set. I think it may break TOS in some games. Defo worth it.

It's not stated anywhere... but is it possible that the Rig Nacon Revolution X actually uses electromagnetic Hall effect thumbstick mechanisms?
It's the only controller thumbsticks with lower circular motion error-rate (literally 0.0%-0.1%) than the Gulikit KingKong Pro 2 (0.5-0.6%) which DOES claim anti-stick-drift due to its electromagnetic thumbstick mechanisms installed.
Does it have Hall effect magnetic mechanism for the sticks? Has anyone confirmed it or found out yet?
Got this today , I must say it's amazing, when playing Forza horizon 5 the vibrations and haptics are incredible, espically if you turn up the vibrations to the max and in game wow, I prefer this to my elite controller 2.
I bet the heavy-weights make it feel even better

Good review thanks for uploading! This video was one of the reason I ended up getting one, very good controller. However there is a Critical bug that basicly can't be used at all if you use Wired Headset via Controllers AUX connector. It disconnects and controller needs to be "Rebooted" by unplugging and replug. The defect is easy to repeat. Firmware update is needed and not sure if there is one yet available? Do you have any info regarding this issue? I have contacted Nacon support but so far isn't looking very promising. Only got copypaste nonsense reply telling me how to use App. I replied them with video how can't update firmware. Nothing happens when press "Update Controller" from App, on Xbox nor wiht PC. So either there isn't new FW avaiable, or the Apps update function is broken.Luckily I'm using mostly Wireless Headset and in that case unit never freeze. It only happens when Wired Headset is connected and used.
If the d-pad was mecha tactile. This controller would be perfection. Despite that flaw factor, looks like a high quality plug and play controller.
Just got it, it's atrocious. The controller is probably one of the worst 3rd party controllers I've ever used. From the feel to the quality of materials. If it was starting at maybe 50 dollars I could justify it but compared to the competition like powerA it's definitely a bad price for a bad controller.
Are the LB and RB buttons stronger then the XBOX series X controller? My LB button breaks a lot. I use it for Rocket league and it seems to wear down to the point where it will function bad and then break.
Anybody know what Xbox controller has the best LB-RB buttons (stronger build)?
PS4 controller never had tis issues for me, not sure why Xbox controllers don't use stronger builds for those bumpers

@@thack3r182 I now just use a set to fix the issue myself. It has 10 replacements + tools. Just make sure it's the series X remote bumpers and not any other remote replacements!
Can you help me dude I've added the rings round the thumbsicks and it's like I can barely move or turn (call of duty) auto tac sprint doesnt raven work with them on the thumb sticks? Do I need to change deadzone or something ? Can't find any info on this anywhere
Yes definitely. You have to download the Nacon software to a computer and adjust the sensitivity settings & lower deadzone. It will store the settings on the pad, so even if you’re playing console the settings should remain.

Tried this controller and all be it the rear buttons are in a good position the lower two buttons are too hard to press in a fast paced fps. The ones above are perfect, they click nicely. Also note that the thumb sticks a stupid slippery using a hard rubber which is honestly such a dumb decision. I play Apex btw and the Elite 2 is miles better but the issue is durability. Spamming the rear buttons on the elite 2 is a dream they are short and clicky with no mush.
Nice review. But.... can anyone tell me if I need the software to map the back buttons out or can you do it via Controller?

You can remap without software, but the software is really good.
I actually want to get it, but after I saw that need to adjust the controller setting on computer like seriously??? I give up lol.. playing games by controller only also need setting controller🙄

Hi there What Gear . Thanks for the review. On the strength of this review I bought this controller . I have a question I'm struggling to find an answer for . The restricted movement collar was a big bonus for me as I'm a fps player ( cod n battlefield) and as you know every millisecond counts so I'm looking to reduce the throw in my sticks n triggers . I've reduced the triggers easy but I'm uncertain about the thumbsticks. Does the largest collar reduce to 50% and what values do I need to add to reflect the modification? @@xbigc2893 Yes I do . I love the extra paddle buttons and the way you can remap any button . I like the profile curve response you can apply to the thumbsticks and triggers , but what I'm no so sure about is the shaft collars as so far I cannot think of a single game that restricting the movement is an advantage? I'd like to change the curve response so it applys to the collar . Ie the large ones allow for 30 degrees maximum angle so I'd like to change the curve to match but I've not worked out how to do that so far . In the custom menu you can change 2 points of the curve but from what I can tell you can't reduce it . Personally I cannot tell much difference with the weights but the 16g ones make the controller feel "sturdy" for the lack of the better word . Oh and the custom halo light control for each profile on the right thumbstick is very cool . It was very easy to access the app on Microsoft 11 and also on my xbox sx .
Overall I'm very pleased with it and I managed to buy it for £75 ( around $106 )
I'd recommend it over the stock console controllers tbh
@@matthewjbellamy1 seems decent I’ve been running a razor wolverine tournament addition very similar for 2 years but they no longer make the model I have and I can’t decide which one to get next as my analogue sticks are wearing down.
@@xbigc2893 unfortunately most ( if not all ) analogy sticks are made by a company called Alps so it doesn't really matter what controller you buy ! Eventually they will all suffer from stick drift . Even the $200 elite has them which is a joke tbh . Personally I really like the nacon revolution x pro because of the extra functions and because I'm good at repairs I'm not so worried about the Alps sticks . I hope this helps

In Germany you could get sued for not declaring it as an ad.. and I know it is one, cause there are like 20 on them on RUclips and all are scripted the same.. there's no denying it and I think it would be better to stop such shady tactics in the future

Controller is the best one I’ve tried yet, literally no stick drift at all in Apex with no deadzone on linear, and same with ALC no deadzone, and no response curve, LITERALLY ZERO STICK DRIFT. Which is how a controller should be, your aim goes up dramatically, if you think you like stick drift it’s only because you are trying to get used to it. I put the little stick support things on that go underneath your stick and limit how far you can look. Biggest complaint when playing Apex is I can’t select what heals I want to use when I have the wheel selection open for heals. Anyone know a way around this?
What do you mean you cant select which heals ? do you mean on the selection wheel? don't you just point the thumbstick at the healing item ?

I just received mine I’m liking the customization,thumbsticks have great tension and no stick drift with no deadzone..The bottom paddle buttons could be better they’re pretty hard to press hard to rely on them in high stress situations. The top paddles are fine. A major problem though(Xbox Series S) is that my controller turns off and I can’t do anything basically it’s off but the LED lights are still on it’s like the controller just deactivates out of no where. Dolby atmos surround sound really does work VERY good on this controller,I never been a fan of surround sound because I felt like it messed with the audio soundstage alot and it iust sounded like a mess..but with this controller it’s very good I swear. If I had to rate the controller out of 10 I’d rate it a 8/10.
The only problem I have is that the controller randomly deactivates.

@@braislorenzovarela6195 Nah man I ordered another controller named thrust master eswap pro at the same time I purchased the nacon revolution x. I was going to get in contact with customer support on there website but I never got to it. If anything I think you should try to contact customer support because that random disconnect is really annoying.

It was the 3D sound that was causing this for me
So I tested it once, found out, or rather for me it was like that if you change profiles 2-3 times in the middle of the game and the Nacon no longer reacts, the cable has to be unplugged and plugged in again.
The grips are bad and very unusual to press the lower buttons.
What bothered the most is the siren-like noises when connecting cable headsets. I gave it back.

I get that siren noise on my turtle beach controller. So annoying having to unplug usb.

Why can they not do this for the PlayStation 5 if they have these features with the triggers etc. Seems like Nacon have forgot about there PS customers who bought the Pro controllers for PS4
