Helpful and thorough review. I'm gonna try this one out.
I have the Razer v2 chroma: it's great but slightly uncomfortable to hold.
The joystick to respond really good and they feel really good and if you need to lock onto a player and you’re turning towards them it’s really smooth feels good on your thumbs
Just received my, Nacon Rig Revolution X Pro controller today. Wow, it's so smooth and didn't take much to get used to. Super precise sticks. The position of the front paddles are perfect for A jump and B slide and the rear paddles the long ones X left for reload and Y on the right to switch weapons. I never can use the Xbox Elite 2 front paddle because they are not as natural to use with the ring fingers as the Rig Nacon, so I had to use the back paddles for jump and slide with my ring fingers which was a little bit slower then using my index fingers.
This controller feels like it's inexpensive at first, but once you start using, themore you really like the nacon and how good it is. Hopefully it lasts longer then the Xbox Series 2. Really like the Nacon Rig Revolution X controller. It's awesome and at a price point of $100 or less.

@@Cee2smoove its still working like day one. Absolutely no stick drift. I Play at least 5 hours each day on Call of Duty, team match during the day and warzone at night.
This is the best controller out if all I own. Hands down. No stick drift. Hopefully they will come with trigger stops but the software does active it for FPS in their software you download thru Microsoft store. You can't go wrong with this controller for $100 or less. Beats all of the experience ones I've owned. So it's been used hard and a lot. Still awesome controller.

I am about to love it but for some reason my back buttons will not work, I tried linking them both ways and it’s just not working I’ve tried everything. Going to contact support tomorrow night other than all that it seems like it’s going to be great
Are you still using the Rig nacon revolution controller and how do you like it so far? Any stick drift or button issues? I've read that it dies have some built in software that keeps the stick from drifting automatically. This feature is not in the software but is only on the RIG version.

Do your headphones need to have the ability to use Dolby atmos or will any headset take advantage of that in the controller ?
There is 2 things that needed to change for it to be a top tier controller. Better material or design for grip on the analog sticks. And trigger stops. If they had that, it would be good. Seeing how it doesnt have at least trigger stops, its not a pro controller. It may say it in the name, but trigger stops are a must for competitive fps games.

@@thebutcher1412 Actually I did, and saw a more comprehensive review of the controller. It doesnt have trigger stops. The fact you time stamped me, is kinda funny. Considering there is no trigger stops. Maybe you should watch the video before timestamping and laughing at someone who knows more about the controller apparently than you do.
@@HeartInLight it has trigger sensitivity, which isn't the same thing.
It's not stated anywhere... but is it possible that the Rig Nacon Revolution X actually uses electromagnetic Hall effect thumbstick mechanisms?
It's the only controller thumbsticks with lower circular motion error-rate (literally 0.0%-0.1%) than the Gulikit KingKong Pro 2 (0.5-0.6%) which DOES claim anti-stick-drift due to its electromagnetic thumbstick mechanisms installed.
that is, the jackets at the bottom cannot duplicate the pressing of the sticks? there are no such keys in the settings menu!? I would like to duplicate the pressing of the left and right stick to transfer to the keys located under the remote control at the bottom... and there aren't any?!
I think this model (Rig Nacon Revolution X) has a high chance that its using Hall-effect electromagnetic thumbstick mechanisms (even though it's not stated).
The stick error-rate is 0.0% which is insane when you consider the Gulikit KingKong 2 Pro is at 0.5% (which DOES claim to have Hall-effect electromagnetic stick mechanisms).
ALSO - the older model of this controller (Nacon Revolution X which does NOT mention 'Rig'), clearly states 'ALPS' on its description... which is the stick mechanism that's used everywhere for the longest time and is very prone to stick drift...
Not to mention even their cheaper compact version of controllers have really good thumbsticks, these might use those hall-effect
I found out about that through another article reviewing the Nacon Revolution x, they use a built-in software algorithm filtered through the thumb sticks for that .02 accuracy.
@@tcrviper woah really? that sounds incredibly interesting would love to see how this controller works for apex setting the deadzone down to 1 or 0 or just try the controller for a week currently running the wolverine ultimate love it to death but godbless stick drift kills it gonna buy this controller try it out
@@makinguwork5781 yes I have the wolverine chroma V2 and I really like that controller as well, but I'm able to be much more smoother and precise with the Nacon Revolution X.
The 0 dead zone is a game changer for me. I play a lot of Ghost recon breakpoint , and to be able to pull off 300+ meter headshots, using only the flex cog scope, with a assault rifle and not using your typical sniper rifle, and being able to do that while the target is moving, is awesome.
I also have the Gulikit King Kong 2 pro controller. I wanted to try it out since it uses the hall sense sticks. The sticks are very precise, but the deal breaker for me was the triggers. They also use Hall sense technology, but the problem is I play Sim racing games, such as assetto Corsa competizione, the original assetto Corsa, and project cars 1 and 2. You can't modulate the throttle or the breaks with those triggers. It's either pedal to the metal with the gas or full brake lock up when stopping, no matter how litely you try to actuate the trigger. I have done a firmware update with that controller and I've tried all the settings, nothing works, I use this controller on the Xbox series x using a wingman XB. adapter.
But as far as the Nacon Revolution X, yes I think you will really like it, and it does have the four back pedals as well, it is not wireless, it has a detachable USB c able, but that doesn't bother me.

How it works the software response curve with the game response curve, those it feels weird or it helps?
I think that's what the Advanced switch in the back controls. For example: if it's in the 'Off' position then it will have no profiles, or like any normal Xbox controller.
So play a game for a while with the advanced switch in the 'off' position, and then switch it to the 'On' position so you can feel the difference in real time to see if it's better or worse.
Good review thanks for uploading! This video was one of the reason I ended up getting one, very good controller. However there is a Critical bug that basicly can't be used at all if you use Wired Headset via Controllers AUX connector. It disconnects and controller needs to be "Rebooted" by unplugging and replug. The defect is easy to repeat. Firmware update is needed and not sure if there is one yet available? Do you have any info regarding this issue? I have contacted Nacon support but so far isn't looking very promising. Only got copypaste nonsense reply telling me how to use App. I replied them with video how can't update firmware. Nothing happens when press "Update Controller" from App, on Xbox nor wiht PC. So either there isn't new FW avaiable, or the Apps update function is broken. Luckily I'm using mostly Wireless Headset and in that case unit never freeze. It only happens when Wired Headset is connected and used.
How to connect the paddles with the game?
Is the sticks same size as xbox so that kontrolfreek fits?
No they are more like ps4/ps5 thumbstick shaped
What’s the advanced switch for ?
It lets you toggle the 4 different custom modes you have set. Otherwise it’s in normal controller mode.
Someone said you can only remap the buttons on pc? But you were on console? Can I edit it on console!
Yes there’s an app on console that allows you to fully customize it. 5:28
@@RodrickViews I got the app thank you 🙏 but I’ve set the profile up and the back buttons won’t work. The light ring works but not the back buttons
@@LogikzzYT Did you switch from classic mode to advanced?? it's the only way you can get the profiles to work as classic mode will disable the back buttons.

Unfortunately, it's actually a ridiculous device. After connecting via USB, Windows recognizes it as an Xbox peripheral, but its own software doesn't acknowledge the connection. The support team just keeps repeating to reconnect. So, both the product and the service are a disappointment.
You can always go out and find Robert dumb covers for your joystick if you feel you need that extra thumb grip for your fingers when they’re resting on the joystick
