Speaking as an Elite controller 2 owner I can tell you that it malfunctioned after 3 months of use, had it replaced and the next one malfunctioning after 2 months, R1 only works 50% of the time this happened on both, and the left analog was left at a constant steady turn left on the second, meanwhile both my original controllers work absolutely faultless after 4 years of abuse.

I play with the elite 2 on PC. Love the feel of it. I use the sticks on full tension and only use 2 of the back paddles for warzone. Havnt found any abnormal stick drift issues like a lot of people mention but i did have one of the rear paddle actuator buttons fail. I returned it within the 1yr warranty period and got a new replacement on the day plus my warranty got extended for 1 more year from the return date. Im in australia so not sure of consumer laws in other countries but i was pretty happy as it costs A$250. One nice thing i like is that as its a microsoft product the software on windows is flawless.

I have had an Elite series 2 for just over 2 years and have used it nearly every day since I got it. I have 0 issues with it. There's no real noticeable stick drift so far as long as I don't bring the deadzones to the absolute minimum, it works like it's brand new. The only issue I have is that my A button is a little soft and it has basically always been soft. The rest of the face buttons all have that distinguishable click when pressed down and A has always been muddy on mine but the A button is also almost always mapped to a paddle so it is more of a non-issue for me.
The amount of customization you get through the app is way more than just button mapping too. Custom sensitivity and acceleration, how much it rumbles, where you want the triggers to register, there's a lot to it and each individual profile you make gets it's own series of customization on top of the button mapping. It's 100% worth the buy but I do have to acknowledge that I seem to be in the luckier group of people who just haven't had any real problems with it. Either that or everyone else treats their controllers absolutely horrendously.

The first one I've had presented issues on LB, RB and one of the paddles towards the end of its lifespan of 1.5 year. Durability on this controller is ridiculous based on its price. It's an amazing controller, the best one I've ever used. My main games are fps which demands a lot from the LB/RB as I use birth for ads and shoot, but I can imagine other genres might impact other buttons.

I'm not writing this to dismantle this video or disrespect it if what I'm about to say in this comment goes against anything I'll see in the rest of this video. I just want to stop people for making the same mistake I did. For people that play Apex or other shooters with 0% Deadzone DO NOT get the Elite 2. I got it and had it replaced immediately because right out of the box there was SERIOUS stick drift even at the tightest right stick setting . I put a work order in and the replacement had the same issue so I just returned it and am waiting for the money currently. I'm not saying this to be toxic or anything, I just want to possibly save someone the month I wasted waiting for the controller and it's replacement just for both to have serious shot affecting such drift. If I can help one person not make the same mistake I did this was more than worth it. I'm not sure about the fusion P2 but the P1 I used was solid for 1¾ before the left stick started malfunctioning which is still very solid for a 40$ controller.

This is a small thing, but for future videos of this type it would be helpful if you refer to the controllers by their names. In my case, and I assume I'm not the only one that ever does this, I was attempting to listen to the video while doing something else. You always referred to the controller as "this one" or a variation of that. If someone is only listening they have no idea which one "this one" is. No big deal, just a convenience thing for your subscribers I suppose. But it would be good practice in case you ever decide to do sponsored videos.

The Elite 2 is the best controller for gaming. From changing tension in driving/shooter games, configuring the controller feel like an Xbox 360, to making or mapping buttons for every single game and making a profile for each new play style makes every time i turn on my Xbox more exciting. The controller also feels very personalized, and with additional parts you can further customize the controller. Wide pads help with driving games, replacement short paddles are less in the way for more rapid taps. The trigger stops are good but i barely use them. Only in fast paced PVP games.

The bumpers will always stop working correctly at some point. For me its usually 4 to 6 months to when one if not both bumpers either stop registering correctly, ir double clicking. I have never had any issues with stick drift, just always bumper button issues. What do i do about it? i buy the controller at best buy and get the 2 year replacement plan. so when my bumper(s) hit that point of not working correctly i take it back and get it replaced and then get another 2 year warranty. if you buy an elite controller and dont get the extended warranty you are crazy to spend that much money on controller because it will wear out. Razer v2 chroma is my favorite, a little pricey but solid feel and good quality

Where did you get the PowerA Fusion Pro 2 wireless at? I can only find wired.

I bought the core and what I figured out is save the box and when your done put the controller in there and remove the thumbsticks

Hey enjoyed your video. Which controller would you say feels heavier? I'm coming from just the standard Xbox One controller which was pretty light. Bought the Elite 2 and it feels much heavier (battery pack input probably). Just wondering if the PowerA is lighter or heavier than the Elite 2. Thanks!

I watched your video. I did want to offer a correction. I play on the Elite Series 2, and at 7:13 you said it has a 'Share' button. If it's the button I think you're referring to, it isn't for sharing. It's to toggle between different preset configurations that you can have. Which are up to 3 preset configs that you can customize in the software. I've not encountered a share button while using my Series 2 Elite.

If you actually watched the video carefully in those minutes. He stated the elite 2 controller doesn’t have it, rather than the powera controller has a shared feature like the Xbox series s controller.
