And there's the fact that this trilogy started a big af plot that today, 14 years after the first installment, just doesn't seem to be close to end (or at least I think so, I still have to play the Erebonia arc). But man, great video, this series needs more fans and this is a great way to show it to those who are scared of the length or are just looking for something new. When I ended chapter 3 in FC I just knew this was going to stay with me for life, and now is my favorite series ever.
I played the two Crossbell games a few months ago and have to say that they are fabulous especially for a fan of the Trails series. I played an English patched rom that is available for free on the good old interweb. The translation is very much in English, but there are a few bits that could be worded better than they are. Either way I highly recommend that any fan of Legend of Heroes play the Crossbell arc as it gives context to many of the events in Cold Steel series.
I love the series, I just finish trails in the sky 3rd, I was hoping the ending would be more fun, like allowing the main character to visit and explorer the real world afterwards (spoiler: they originally aren't)
6:32 No it's not! It probably took me half of the first game to figure out orbments, arts and those CP moves. It was a doozy but insanely fun to play around with after you got to know them well.
Lol that's only happen when you didn't read the Bracer Notebook. And I myself learn them with only the tutorial battles, except S-Craft timings. That's the only hard thing
It sounds to me like they did this trilogy a service by making all of it really connect to each other effectively. All 3 titles were released in one game? Since the Legend of Heroes games weren't that way I'm a little shocked these aren't separate...unless they are? Anyway, definitely must try these at some point. The fan base has really been growing for Trails games.
I wish these games were more popular here in the west
they're getting there!
This channel need more attention..........great review

@@dustanglx50 Does the psp version have the speed up? The battles without speedup is pretty slow

Ah yes. I'm watching a story summary to not have a major plot point spoiled...
Spoiler alert at 3:02

Its easy if you read the bracers notebook I took some time during prologue to figure it all out turned out to be very rewarding :p

the sky trilogy does feel like the lunar series to me. fc especially feels like a small scale lunar 1.
The animation of the game is a lot better than the OVAS
Goddamn I needed this
3rd is made mostly out of cutted stuff from 1st and 2nd.
NICE!!
How about the crossbell arc???? damn you lloyd hogging all the flowers to yourself!
