So universities are going to be giving out 4 year free ride scholarships and then turning around and giving these same players thousands/millions in free salary, on top of whatever N.I.L. deal said plyr negotiates...🤷‍♂️
I'm glad I'm not in charge of any college athletic program cause giving out exorbitant amounts of money to players who are already getting a free education would not be how I would do business...
"If you wanna get paid like a pro, take your azz to the pros!"

At this point we need to just adopt the European football model. That's the only way to attain some level of intrigue with this system. You could have a school like Mississippi State moving up to the "Premier League". Financially they will not be able to compete with your Alabamas and Ohio States but at least it will be exciting to see them compete at "the highest level". One thing is for sure, gone are the days of a smaller school legitimately competing for a national title. Just like European football, the richest will win year after year. So let's at least make it somewhat fun with promotion and relegation playoffs and watch smaller, less financially endowed schools pluck their way up the ranks.

This Embid storyline needs to stop. If the sixers do not get a top tier free agent its because they dont want to play with Embid. Lillard, Durant, Harden, Butler. And numerous othetd chose to eithet leave or not go to philly.

Oh no, they are going to push socialism for sure. Women volleyball star "deserves," same as USC quarterback. We are going to debate this to death.

Boosters are still going to pay players on the side to get them to their university. Same ole, same ole.

The ‘stars’ have been paid for years under the table. But the amounts have been increasing greatly the last couple of years through NIL. Even more now. What I don’t like is the portal crap. Kids changing schools every year. Lots to be worked out.
