jimi is like the most talented in the world, did you know he died 27 years old, and only 6 years after he started recording in a studio, and still hes considerd the best guitarist in the world, just think what would have happend if he had more tiime to play, how much more aweosme songs he could have written, the biggest lost ever in my opinion thumbs up if jimi is your inspiration like hes mine
I saw Jimi Hendrix at Maple Leaf Gardens, sitting up close. The only person I have ever seen, that I think would look good as Jimi is Andre 2000, as long as he's over six feet tall, 6'1" I think. Jimi described himself as being of Egyptian Nubian descent with a Cherokee grandmother who walked The Trail of Tears. Try finding another soul like that.
This is one of the most magical songs ever recorded and this dude somehow managed to perform it. Incredible, I've seen nothing even remotely matching the quality of this
1:00 you can tell he was proud to hit that last lick perfectly in time before going into the second verse since it was the exact same lick on the original studio version. He didn’t do it perfect back then.
There's a true emotion and musical spiritual odyssey that Jimi always brought to the table and when you personally witnessed and felt those emotions sadly you instantly realize the tragedy and loss of Hendrix and how those special and spiritual emotions can't and won't ever be replaced or recaptured again. Although imitation is a huge form of flattery something is always missing with these imitations when it comes to the creative master genius that was James Marshall Hendrix!
woaw! to read 'This performance WAS Recorded at the Libbey Bowl in Ojai California on August 18, 2007' 'just did not realize it's a tribute band.AMAZING! good work, guys! congrats to the guitarrist!
After all this time, when Jimi has been gone since 1970, and everyone is still trying to reproduce what Jimi did, when what Jimi did was all about being creative on a personal and business level. Anyone trying to imitate Jimi now can do what Jimi couldn't, not having modern digital technology, or a left-handed guitar that stayed in tune.
@Aiden Blake: Yeah... I wasn't in on that, seeing Jimi myself and thinking of him that way. Jimi wasn't up there with Page, Beck and Clapton, more like Dylan, if you liked him you really liked him.
@cbamaral12 - no, this guys name is not Jair Maos from Brazil. His name is Dani Robinson and he lives in Los Angeles. The other band members are Mark Morrow and Phil Gibson. After a touring in Europe in 2008, Dani relocates to Prague, and forms the band Stonefree Czech Experience band with local musicians and is currently working on his next CD to be recorded in the Czech Republic. He has had several performances notably Trutnov 2010 (see photo) and is currently preparing for a tour.
Il numero 1 di sempre della musica rock. Unico, inimitabile, chitarrista geniale e sconvolgente.
I've seen many, many covers of All Along The Watchtower here on RUclips but this is by far the best. Why it only has 500,000 views, I have no idea. The timing, guitar, and vocals are pretty damn close to Jimi himself (See the video entitled "Jimi Hendrix - 1968 All Along The Watchtower (Live)) Much better than the Pearl Jam, Lenny Kravitz, Eric Clapton, Eddy Vedder, etc., and especially the bullshit Neil Young one. In 99% of those the guitar is somewhat subdued, which you will see in a genuine Jimi video is not the case at all. It's front stage where it should be. .
ottimo lavoro !!!!!!se fosse stato mancino anche questo chitarrista poteva essere scambiato per jimi! great job!! even if it had been handed this guitar could be mistaken for Jimi!
Amazing. . he catches all the subtle nuances of the original with his vocals and his guitar work is right on the mark.
Can't believe Jimi came back to life
I saw Hendrix live twice and this guy nails it----10!
You were lucky to see Hendrix.
Hats Off To You...
A:)Thank You For Saying That. BECAUSE, He's My Brother...
Two gods combined; Bob "god of songwriting" Dylan + Jimi "guitar god" Hendrix = Legendary
jimi is like the most talented in the world, did you know he died 27 years old, and only 6 years after he started recording in a studio, and still hes considerd the best guitarist in the world, just think what would have happend if he had more tiime to play, how much more aweosme songs he could have written, the biggest lost ever in my opinion
thumbs up if jimi is your inspiration like hes mine

Everywhere I go on youtube I see people comparing these amazing musicians. There all greats in my mind no ones better than the other.
Word, man, totally awesome! I think Jimi smiles....
People can play something close to Jimi but nobody sings like he did. His voice was actually as good as his guitar playing.

I'm 55 and it is hard to believe how young he was.
1:00 you can tell he was proud to hit that last lick perfectly in time before going into the second verse since it was the exact same lick on the original studio version. He didn’t do it perfect back then.

Infatti questo non è Hendrix ma uno che lo imita.

Randy Hansen (by far the best) ruclips.net/video/laqe25jPc90/видео.html
You should check Pilky27's one, here on RUclips too. Prepare yourself to be addicted to his covers 😉
