Yep, he is a gun player, great feel/tone and plays accurately at speed with little effort, the whole CRS band are amazing, every classic song they do they nail it and the guitar work is a feature.

One of the best times I have had in a long time. Played for and hour, then 30 minute intermission, then another hour and a half including encores.

Respectfully, I've seen these guys do some incredible covers, but this is not one of them. He neglects to include any of Jimi's great rhythmic fills in between the vocal lines. That is most likely due to his having to concentrate on his singing. To do Hendrix justice, you must match his fluidity, which this guy does not on this particular cover.

This is my favourite song of all time, remember being blown away when I heard Jimi play it. Today it still brings me out in goose pimples (and I am 68). I have heard so many disappointing and awful covers. This is the best ever cover, just sensational and I am hard to please when it comes to this song. Classic.. I'll play this song at least 4 or 5 times a day. It's never tiring and sounds as good as the time before. The guatir knows his way around around that instrument.
