@@WildSheGoes you are missing one. The joy you have in your videos when one is around shows. Granted you always have an upbeat manner about you, but when you get to share the live you have with another that will offer its love unconditionally, you have a smile that the human race needs.
How can people be so callous and neglect amd abandon these beautiful animals? It breaks my heart to see them all. At least you gave them all a little love, Marina.
That dog was adorable, so much so you gave it your meal which makes you more adorable. Your poor van needs a giant bandaid! All part of the adventure, or so we are told. Kind regards. 🇨🇦
With an older vehicle, when you go travelling/mileage, it tends to pull out any problems, wether mechanical or wiring, that's just one of the drawbacks. At least once you disembark in Italy, it's not too far to get home. I swam in the sea near Glyfada, Greece in November, water was still beautifully warm and clear, just like those beaches you visited. Safe journey home 🤞
Oh dear I did have a bad feeling about that van 😖 hope you get it all fixed Marina if you where in Scotland I would have a go for you 👍 safe journey home 🙏🏴
Oh it's just that little extra trouble when some part of your essential car, goes bung! Sweet beach sites! Great book! Your accumulation of doggies was delightful 😊. T. 🇭🇲🐞
Van suggestion, feel free to ignore: if you're having multiple different fuses blowing, it could be that you're having an issue with a ground wire. Normally a fuse will pop if there's too much voltage going through the circuit, but if it doesn't happen immediately every time you turn the lights on, it has to be something awkwardly intermittent. My thoughts as to why it could be a ground wire is that- especially if there is a rust issue- several parts of a vehicles wiring system are usually tied to only a couple ground (attaching to the frame) points. If the connection is loose or even has only some rust, it could be losing contact momentarily, causing the rest of the electronics to arc (cross over to the other wires) and then sending all that power down the wrong line causing it to short out. Even if your fuse isn't popping, a loose ground connection (especially on bumpy roads) could explain why it's going on and off. Anyway, I wish you all the luck out there! Stay safe and keep loving on all those sweet dogs for all of us :)
HI Bri, thank you so much for your tips! Yes I suspect there's a bad connection somewhere, I tried to explain to the mechanics this but I think they just fixed the immediate issue and not looked at the deeper cause. Issues with communication I guess. Will have to take it to the doc when back in mother land :)
I had the same problem with my minivan. Could be a dodgy relay switch, I replaced mine and it was fine. Very annoying at the time, though, so completely understand your frustration! Hope you get it fixed.
The back drops were quite beautiful. Too bad you didn't have your water colors with you Marina. Nice to see you find more sea glass. Hope you can chase the van gremlins away, sooner than later.
There's nothing worse than travelling on the road in a van that's playing up. It spoils you enjoyment of your travels, causing lots of stress. My van had continuous electrical problems, so I left it with an Auto Electrician. It took him a week to find a few problems and fix them, then it was far more reliable after that. Good luck! From Australia 💞
Marina hope you are ok. Just heard on the news about the Earthquake in Turkey. Not sure if Greece has been affected. So very sorry for all those people in Turkey and Syria. 🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂💔💔💔💔
@Wild She Goes • Marina: I love how you always find some beautiful flowers to show us on your walks. Hope the van has decided it has tested your patience enough and now will docilely take you wherever you want to go.
Nice to see u travelling in your camper van again Marina, sorry that u r having mechanical issues, hopefully the wiring fault is just corroded contacts or bad earth's to the van bodywork. We are hoping to do a long trip in our 33year old camper to Sweden and Norway in May when my partner retires from work. Hopefully we won't have any mechanical problems - fingers crossed
Awww Sithonia, beautiful nature, nice beaches, crystal clear sea..... I spent there (Metamorphosis, Toroni, Vourvouru, Sarti....) many holidays, but sadly, too many strays and municipalities do nothing to solve the prob! I hope your little Van didn't totally let you down 🙏😊💗
Great video, I often think how lovely the voice and singing is that you put into the videos, but I never comment about it. Just thought I’d mention it as it’s always noticed and appreciated
Oh Marina I have a similar light issue with my van but mine actually even drains the main battery if we don't remove fuse while parked for long time. I hope your mechanic in Italy will be able to figure it out. I had one mechanic - like an electrician for cars - tell me that finding the weak spot is like searching for a needle in the hey stack... every "end" connector he tested showed enough current so it might be somewhere a lose link at a connecting point in the walls etc. I'm sending my van to " a doctor" that a friend of mine suggested and hoping he will be able to find the problem and that it will cost less than my poor old van. It's still all original wiring from 98. Please do share once your mechanic finds a solution. Thanks, paw shake from Cape Breton, Canada.
Exactly! Seems like such a frustrating job, more than happy for a auto electrician to sort it out 😂 I hope you will too find a solution to the problem for your oldie. They are so temperamental!
Been following your travels and adventures especially back then with Odie for a few years now. I just want to thank you. You are living the life I wanted so in a way now. I'm living that through you. Again thank you Marina...
I hope the van holds out until you get back to Italy 🙏. Greece is beautiful but chilly this time of the year, but that sea was just lovely. All those fur babies 🥰 . Safe travels x
Hey Marina, you journeyed so far from home and you are so resourceful, we all hope you are safe. Thank you again for your such interesting videos. Love from the UK.
That must have been so scary! Good that you managed to make it to an overnight stop. What a lovely dog, presumably he had a home somewhere, he looked healthy. Hope you got the electrics sorted and it didn’t cost an arm and leg!
So sorry to see your van being saddled with all of these issues. Not that spending time at mechanics isn't fun, but hopefully it will all be corrected soon and you can get back to having fun. I really felt for your poor van navigating that pot-holed road! Several years back I was on a road trip, and stopping one night during a rainstorm before I could open the car door there was an enormous dog right there - it was eye to eye with me while I was seated. Fortunately friendly, and like your many dogs just keen to say hello to a new person.
Hi, time flies indeed. Bit scary driving in the dark to a save place and ending up in a beautiful spot. Seems people are still in the winter mood, hope the van gets back all right. Buy a lot of pita's, very very many dogs everywhere in Greece :-). Enjoy the journey, see you next time.

You have a great camper van, but not one that can easily go from regular roads to bumpy rural, full of pot holes dirt roads…so YES you will have wiring issues because they do not like to dance around your engine and will either unplug themselves or burnout, so keep on getting small issues dealt with and save the bigger ones for when you come home.
