Me too, I wasn't born until 1995 but It's like a vague and comforting reality I used to live in. It's crazy how much you actually remember when you are exposed to it again.
That's how it felt back then, when I was 16 and 17. I bet we'll be saying again in 20 years when we're elderly "what happened to those days of being middle aged in the late 2010s and early 2020s?". For real, when we're elderly, we'll be saying that
When you’re a child you don’t realize the world is capable of changing. And the 90s were a time of unprecedented general abundance. No idea how good we had it. And now we’re on the precipice of doom.
I remember living at home with my parents, care free, and time seemed to stand still! I never thought those days would end. Back then I couldn’t wait to get older so I could move out on my own and grow up. Now I find myself, wishing I could turn back time.
Definitely glad that this 90s compilation is an hour. Because it gives us enough time to marinate and stay in simpler times. Miss the 90s so much nowadays. There was nothing like it. Well of course the 80s.
Reminds me of curling up on my grandma's couch and falling asleep at night because I couldn't sleep in the dark by myself without freaking out. Nostalgic! ♡
I was born in 1986 and my happiest memories of childhood were from about 1992. This reminds me so much of being in my parents room while they were watching TV and just hanging out for a little bit before going to bed.
It's crazy, I was born in 1987, but remember all these commercials and promos like it was only a few years ago smh. In living color, Martin, Married with Children, the Simpsons first Halloween specials amongst many other's take me back to a time that seemed so simple and real.
Oh man, that Sony CD player commercial really takes me back to being 13 and watching lots and lots of MTV, when that was one of the most played commercials that year. I also remember kinda having to be into "Beverly Hills 90210" but not minding it as much of the omnipresence of the utterly dire "Saved by the Bell", and how much my family loved the relatability of "Roseanne" since we were an awful lot like the Conners, and I remember rolling my eyes at that Robitussin commercial whenever it aired because even back then I recognized just how sexist it was, and OMG I remember that Extra bubble gum commercial and how it got me to try it out (and how much I still enjoy it), and wow, I feel young again! Thank you so much for making me temporarily forget just how ancient and decrepit I am.
A little over a month ago I found the entire _Married...with children_ series on sale at Walmart for only $40.00. That was less than $4.00 per season. It was a steal!
I'm gonna let you in on a little secret: girls back then played video games too, even if the boys didn't like knowing that. Though the furthest I went as far as gaming goes was playing Tetris.
Man, this was back when fast food actually did taste good! And Wendy's actually had a full salad bar inside every one of their restaurants, which my mom and I ate at every time there was a report card night at my high school in the mid to late 1990s and she would have to go over to pick up the report card.
@@roberthorry621 yes, and also back when Pizza Hut tasted good, before they literally switched to lower quality ingredients in the late 90s. Burger King did the same. It's a proven fact. And Wendy's was great too, back in the Dave Thomas Wendy's commercials days
You see these commercials for gum flavored with "NutraWweet"? Its generic name is "aspartame". Thirty years ago no one was afraid of it, but now everyone seems to be.
Ayo kid from Kid N Play you rock and Martin Lawrence and Tisha Campbell you are rock too! House party forever rest in peace Tommy Ford we miss you baby!😇😥😭🙏😖✌😳👭👬🐇🐢🐀🐃
So funny, how hard they were trying to tell kids that these sports games (the football and the basketball game) were like the real thing back in those days! LOLZ. And we bought it back in the day XD
Yes lol that's actually one thing I wish were still prevalent in commercials. No one writes jingles for ads anymore, they just put a popular hit song on.
I NEED HELP FINDING AN AD... I think it was for a math tutor company, starts with a kid saying "I just don't get it. & I probably never will" Any help would be appreciated.
@@TheTechCguy Nah, it's a bunch of things multiplied together to get this sound, the quality of the broadcast signal , the medium the video was recorded to, the recorder, then the added analog to digital conversion, and lastly the compression to get it up to RUclips. Glad I'm not the only one I'm pretty sure I've come close to having one I had to stop 11 minutes in
I stopped watching and just used it as talking wallpaper...I'm getting the spins

That Sony CD player commercial is a great early 90s time capsule

A lot of shows I forgot about! Fox was so lit back in the day! Our tv stayed on fox 85-95% of the time
Fox used to be the anti abc nbc cbs it showed shows you wouldn't see anywhere else now it's just like all of the other major networks

$40????? Holy shit! Where? I need it! lol, seriously though. Just started rewatching the whole show on Hulu, but I wanna own it!
I have all but 3 seasons great show

My favorite back then and now, hope they never get rid of it
The boys had all the best toys
