i was born 1987 so you earlier 80s kids seem like muppets to me hahaha i got the internet you just got boring carpet computers lol early 80s i know were better from what i heard and i missed oit but the whole thing feels like a frug withdraw
And for the ones who came from the track *"A1 - Nostalgic exploitation"* from Sgt. Talby's album *"We Are Eternal",* here are the timestamps: Commercial 1 (Crossfire): 0:30 - 0:36 Commercial 2 (A Current Affair): 26:38 - 26:42 Commercial 3 (Cooke Cablevision): 26:57 - 27:00 Commercial 4 (Huffy Stone Mountain Bike): 41:07 - 41:19
Oh man, I remember that American Werewolf in Paris commercial set to the Bush song so we'll. For 15 seconds, I felt like I was 16 years old, living in 1997 again. These are all great.
Does anyone remember the commercial where the kid is playing a video game and wins so he gets all excited jumping around saying "who the man" and such but he runs out of breath and the ad says "get up, get out" or something similar? Lol ive been hunting it for a while 😂😂😂😂
The Nestle ad at 39:10 is amazing. I would love to see that highlighted in a future 80s ad article, or future Purple Stuff podcast so more people can see it. Also the Xmen commercial right before is interesting. I know you love Infinity Gauntlet, but I don't remember if you ever talked about the Phalanx or the bad guy who wore glasses from X-Factor who became all techno-organic.
MATT!!! The commercial for “The Mill” at the Oaks mall plaza blew my mind!! That’s my local mall. I live in a pretty small town in Florida. I was also amazed to see it followed up by the TV 20 Regis and Kathie promo(my local tv station).... I did a “Dead Mall” video on my channel showcasing the Oaks Mall Plaza if you’re interested :)
Came here to say this! Edge was everything. Edge before Christmas, edgefest, tales from the edge, adventure club, edge club! Hey if you want a taste of awesome, check out what Kimball Collins is doing on twitch ❤
If we all concentrate really hard at the same time and hold hands across the world while singing "we are the world" and clicking our heels 3 times...I believe we can go BACK to the future. I mean back to the 80's where Back to the future was still in theatres. And theaters was still spelled theatres.
Course my siblings and I acted out live Masters of the Universe shows, in our living room. So seeing that commercial might've been where we got the idea, other than from watching the cartoons.

I cried throughout the whole video.
Thank you for allowing me to relive the unforgettable experience of my childhood.
Especially when American Werewolf came out.

The Toys R Us commercials legit make me emotional. They always remind me of my childhood Christmases.
God, I feel so old seeing these commercials. But thanks for the nostalgia.
Oh my nostalgia!!
Fond childhood memories! Thank you!!
Thank you for another awesome hour of fun. So nice to watch this clips and unwind and chill. Big bowl of popcorn and coke sit back and relax

I also love all the Star Trek ads in this:)
Interesting commercials from the 80's and 90's.
Holy smokes! A full hour, that's awesome.
Throughly enjoying this right now.
you telling me that masters of the universe was so popular that it had 12 days of shows at radio city?!
Yes. Yes, it was. You really can't underestimate how huge Masters was from about 1983-1988.
Does anyone remember the commercial where the kid is playing a video game and wins so he gets all excited jumping around saying "who the man" and such but he runs out of breath and the ad says "get up, get out" or something similar? Lol ive been hunting it for a while 😂😂😂😂

Where's the "Professional! Do not imitate!" warning on that Huffy bike ad?
Cool commercials
Aw, I didn’t know Marsha Warfield had a show. I love her.
Honestly, no one cared.
No wonder so much of this seems familiar. It was recorded in my market. Enjoyed seeing the kdge ad.

I love that GI Joe was like....yeah, repaints are totally canon. Changing Cobra vehicles to Tiger Force like that....clever.
As a kid I loved it. I got to buy the toys I didn’t get the first time they came out. Including a Duke action figure !
I had all those GI Joe toy's. what great times those were
Yum! I want a Burger King Ham & Cheese Quarter Pounder Hot Topper Double CheeseBurger, with Fries and a Drink of course!😍😋❤️📺🎶🍔
Great TGIF lineup at 45:00!
I Read on Twitter That Seinfeld might be coming to Comedy Central, TV Land and Nick@Nite! How Awesome is That?😂🤣❤️📺🎶
OMG. Do you think they really had a guy in a Mackey Mouse costume on top of Epcot center?? That looked dangerous.
as a child I thought that's where he lived due to this commercial - like if you visited, you would find him waving to you from the top of Epcot =/
My guess is yes there is really a person in that costume who is on top of Epcot.

Cool 😎
I need a Delorean Time Machine stat 💯
Why are comments turned off on all the other old commercial clips?
50:26 Ominous pre 9/11 news report. Makes you wonder.
Course my siblings and I acted out live Masters of the Universe shows, in our living room. So seeing that commercial might've been where we got the idea, other than from watching the cartoons.
