you know, I was just at the local drive-in eating a burrito & asked for some picante sauce. someone said, it better not be made in NYC! i love that ol’ cowboys at the drive-in ad! another banger set of killer retro goodness! keep ‘em coming! have a great holiday weekend, Retro Friends!
This is early in the day for an upload, but a welcome surprise nonetheless. I can never think about My Sister Sam without thinking about what happened to the lead actress. I have never. ever seen a Kaybee Toystore commercial.
Cat Fancy, always reminds me of Micheal Weston on Burn Notice, as that was one of his go to, cut in magazines (a cut in magazine is used by CIA operatives to signal someone they have planned to meet in a public place) was this magazine.
Mine would be The Utilizer. A film that aired on Sci-Fi Channel in the 90’s and hasn’t been seen since. You can find the entire soundtrack online though.
Its weird seeing kroger and ross Nvr had it in my region until a couple years ago 80 90 and 2000's are definitely the best Still might prefer after 80s more I like KB taking a shot at TRU
I'd really like to know the song intro in this series of videos. Edit: Stan Bush Stand or Fall: In the final hour when you heed the call, the courage to give your all, will you stand or fall?
I so miss late 80's, and early 90's USA Network, thanks for the memories Dave!!!
I was only a young lad but I do remember a lot of these. Many of them spilled over into the early 90's too.
Bk Burger Bundles was something I got once in my childhood and never forgot it. In the 90s, I tried to explain them to people. No one remembered them.
It was alot better than today's crap
I never heard of them until watching this video
And chicken littles from KFC LOVED THOSE !!!
Bring it back but in a 4 pack; Burger King BK Slider packs; with different types of Sliders
The Joe Piscopo commercial would definitely not get made today. I forgot how ripped he got after Saturday night live.
😂😂😂 Easily my least favorite SNL actor. He was never funny.
@@John_Locke_108agreed.
I think there's even a chance some people back then wouldn't have liked that!
Damn, Kaybee. I saw watch'ya did there
The Commander USA bits were a real treat. Miss that show so much.
Sliding the VHS tape through the VCR was an everyday habit that we all had in the great old days.
Time Machine to The Past
Great set of ads! Funny, trendy, cautionary, sentimental, informative...pretty much sums up the 80's doesn't it? 📺🤔Thanks Dave! 👍🏼
This is so relaxing and enjoyable - thanks Dave!
Kaybees 😢 long live KBs!

Commander USA ftw
Couldn't get away with "Bruce" Piscopo now. I didn't know Joe was that jacked though.
great to see the detroit market
represented
BK Burger Bundles!!! Hipsters think they invented sliders. Nope. BK did it first and better. I loved those.
Damnnnn Mr Lu wing got bread 🍞 😮
Kaybee Toys must've hired the same writers that wrote the Showbiz Pizza songs.😂
55:35 I want to know more about Rockin' Santa! 🎅🏻 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yes!!!🤘🏽🤘🏽
The Entenmann's commercial features the Brandenburg Concerto by JS Bach. 45:26
Another consecutive banger of a video, Dave. We thank you always. ☺️
I had one of the MJ posters from Wheaties on the wall.
Only though because I barely could stomach the taste of the cereal. Like cardboard.
Is that Betty Childs (Julia Montgomery) from Revenge of the Nerds in the Natty Light commercial?
Yes it is!

Intro song sounds so 80's!🤘🏻👍🏻🇺🇲
I miss Super Size. McDonald's needs to bring it back, asap!
They need the old fries back first
Yeah except this time it'll cost about 20 bucks
6:28. NO FUKKEN WAY that gets made today!!😂😂🎉🎉
That sounded like Michael Bolton singing in the "Stanley" commercial. The vocal strain seems to be enough evidence for me.
I never seen that commander USA before, but I think he was the inspiration for the comedian from the watchman comics
Commander USA!!! Miss that show
Whatever happened to Ed Marinaro..
Its weird seeing kroger and ross
Nvr had it in my region until a couple years ago

Camel Hair Sport Coats. Only the best quality, Of course
Ho no, sir. I used to quote that scene with my sister all day long.
😡=Me getting mad at the 2 unskippable ads prior to watching nearly an hour of commercials
I used to get dog fancy as a kid
80’s Vintage
Good afternoon 😅😅😅
I forgot that they used to advertise Cocaine. Still makes me want to try it.
I remember my mom talking about Rebecca Schaeffer's murder from My Sister Sam. She was so young.
I'd really like to know the song intro in this series of videos.

Damn I miss Coke.
…cocaine.
Wonder if the Alzheimer association ever figured out why they never got any calls 😂😂😂
