Good stuff, brings back the memories. I find it amusing that the formula for most ads in the 80s-90s (well, later half of the 20th) was either two people randomly talking about a product in their everyday lives, or somebody talking to the fourth wall.
I had an 89 Dark blue Buick Century and it was all blue inside with wood paneling and I thought I was fancy and hotshit. I’d trade my fancy car just to go back to that time and drive that car again. I liked when my world was smaller.
No, it's just that everyone stops counting their age at 39. It's just a thing. I'm not trying to be rude, but it's not just a Jack Benny thing, I think he was just repeating an old, old, old joke. It's that people feel that 40 is kind of the dividing line between young and old, so there's the endless old joke about ''are you turning 39 again this year?''
Love 'em! Roberta Weiss (also Bizeau) in the Crispy Crunch commercials along with Jeremy Ratchford (who later co-starred in Cold Case). Still searching for my white whale Molson Canadian commercial with T-rex playing in the background...
Hi. Stoping by. Good looks and memory's. Nice. Reminds me of Great Things and Times. Bests. Go good offices and go RCA, And KODAKS , And Casio , And Amigas. Go Smart , :. Smart and Intel Desks. Bests and great to see. Zenith , Magnavox , Sony Tops.
@@OofusTwillip Alan Bleviss was a Canadian actor and v/o talent who moved to New York City in the mid 70s. A lot of people know his voice from this tagline: "Pick Enterprise... we'll pick you up." He also did a ton of movie trailers, including memorable ones for "Ragtime" and "Dirty Dancing." You can hear his Canadian accent in his voice work.
Woah, I totally forgot about the mascot for 7up before Spot became a thing. Damn. The fuck was with 90s commercials for cars though... I forgot about these. It's no wonder they made laws about what you can actually say in an ad because almost all of them are SO full of shit lol

1:38 i love that early 90s "world music" andean flute shit , the kumbaya internet 90s as i call em
1990 must have been the year of automotive sales. To bad you can't buy a car with the same price as it was in 1990.
2:14:42 - When the pharmacist guesses Bea's age as 39, it's a reference to Jack Benny, who always claimed to be 39 years old.

@53:30, That Cow Brand Cartoon Cow Lady is kinda Cute!😍❤️📺
Cow Brand was absorbed into the Arm & Hammer brand, many years ago. I miss it.
I fucking need that hamburger helper cheeseburger kind RIGHT NOW
REALLY love this, but why so many car commercials? Who ever recorded this must have had a harrd on for cars.
Considering all the ads for cars, car polish, hardware, and building supplies, this was probably recorded during a sports match.
That is because it is a 1990 Commercial compilation!
Nissan car commercial at 13:19 is incredible! WHO directed? Production company?
Wiadomo,wiekszosc to bzdury😉

1:46:14 Alan Bleviss, one of the all-time great voice-over talents. Here he is for Murphy's Oil Soap.
THANK YOU for identifying him! I've been trying to identify that voice for years.
